This week, we are starting a series on the biblical character of Joseph. Joseph was the youngest son of a broken family. As he begins having some strange dreams, it becomes clear that while God is up to something, some painful realities will be exposed in his life. It all starts with some dangerous dreams. Come as we prepare to meet and learn from the ancient biblical man, Joseph.

This week, we are going to reflect upon the difference between knowing about God and having a relationship with Him! In Matthew 16, when Jesus and His disciples traveled to Caesarea Philippi, Jesus asked his disciples, "Who do people say that the Son of Man is?" Simon Peter's response to Jesus, and Jesus's response to Peter, is an important shift in how we, as Christ followers, understand the gospel! God wants us to have a personal relationship with Him, and it's awesome.

This week, we are taking time to reflect on the early story of Peter and John before the Sanhedrin. They are in trouble because of a miracle God performed through them. In this little story, we learn what these disciples were known for. They were known as people "who had been with Jesus." (Ac. 4:13) What a remarkable statement about the early Christians. And what a statement should be made of us! We will be taking some time to be prayed for as we begin a new school year.

This week, we are going to talk about the transforming power of God's kindness. In a look at a number of core biblical stories and texts, we are going to look at how God, time and again through Scripture, reveals to us that it is God's nature to be kind to us. And, by virtue of that, to transform us through that kindness.
