Mankind falls in the Garden. Though God gave an order, a mandate, and a prohibition to Adam and Eve, their disobedience leads to awful consequences. A serpent deceived the woman into eating the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, and the man does nothing to lead the woman (or himself) away from the temptation.
