hey Ed. your Mississippian burial episode. You were talking about the pit where thousands were violently sacrificed. Now the two pits of women strangled fit sacrifice sounds accurate, that one does not. It sounds more like a failed revolution or insurrection. Possibly an outside attack. Their leaders or "royal couple" fell, they sacrificed the women to honor them, then the captured (or maybe the pit was itself some sort of set trap?) were put in the pit and dispatched. What do you think?
