Stillness isn't being stuck.  It's becoming. In this Season 2 finale, Chrissie reflects on the softer, slower, more honest journey that shaped this season.  A season built around allowing truth to rise gently, without forcing answers or chasing clarity. This episode explores how stillness softened before it clarified, how emotional honesty opened new space inside the body, and how clarity emerged only when the rushing stopped.  It became a season of witnessing, of allowing, of returning to what is real. Chrissie shares how stillness revealed the truth in her own life, the quiet shifts that softened her emotional body, and the clarity that rose when she stopped outrunning what she already knew.  She opens up about love, compassion, and the way truth reshaped her life from the inside out. This finale also marks the transition into the next phase of the work.  The Body Awareness Method (BAM) was born from the same stillness that shaped Season 2.  BAM is where truth becomes lived.  Where awareness becomes allowing and allowing slowly becomes action.  It is the space where emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual truth come together in real, embodied change. As we head into the break between seasons, the focus shifts into building the workshops, website, and grounded tools that will support reconnection.  Season 3 will center on returning to the self with simple practices for the four bodies—gentle, accessible ways to come home to your own truth. If you felt resonance, discomfort, nudges, or emotional movement throughout this season, this closing solo weaves it all together.  You are not behind.  You are becoming.  Stillness is not failure.  It is truth rising in its own time. "Our shift has ended for today." You'll Learn: Why stillness is a doorway into truth How clarity rises when you stop chasing it Why emotional honesty softens before it strengthens How stillness shaped Chrissie's own transformation this season How the Body Awareness Method grew from this season's truth What Season 3 will explore as we reconnect with the self Key Takeaways: Stillness isn't failure.  It's truth rising in its own time. Clarity doesn't come from chasing.  It comes from honesty. Softening always happens before alignment. Your body knows the truth before your mind accepts it. You are not behind.  Becoming has no timeline. Truth whispered all season long—this episode names it. BAM is where truth becomes lived, embodied action. Season 3 will be the reconnection:  simple tools that return you to yourself. Motherhood doesn't begin or end in the moments we live.  It begins in the moments that break us open. In this closing WTF? Midlife episode of Season 2, Chrissie and Marva share their experiences of becoming mothers through loss.  Marva's firstborn daughter, Asia, passed just before delivery.  Chrissie's firstborn son, Jack, died from SIDS at six months old.  Two different stories, one shared truth: love doesn't disappear.  It changes form, reshapes identity, and continues moving through the mothers left behind. This conversation explores how losing a child transforms the emotional body, influences future pregnancies, affects parenting, and becomes an imprint we learn to honor.  This episode is a remembrance, a tribute, and a space for mothers who carry grief as part of their motherhood. You'll Learn: How child loss changes the emotional landscape of motherhood Why grief integrates instead of resolving How fear and anxiety imprint on future pregnancies Parenting from remembrance instead of hypervigilance The spiritual and emotional shifts that follow unimaginable loss How to honor a child through the life you build today Key Takeaways: Motherhood is shaped not only by what we lived, but by what broke us open. Love does not end when a child dies.  It changes form Grief becomes part of who we are.  It reshapes us rather than resolving. Remembering is a form of healing. Our children live through how we love and show up today. When the unimaginable happens, love doesn't disappear.  It changes form. In this episode of Who Are You Now?, Michael Webb shares the sudden loss of his wife, Teresa, who passed at 48, and the journey of learning to live, parent, and love again after life changed in a single moment.  From high school sweethearts to navigating grief as a father, this conversation explores what it means to rebuild identity and allow love to continue in a new way. This episode honors Teresa's life, the love that remains, and the truth that healing is not about forgetting.  It is about becoming. You'll learn: Why grief is not something you "move on" from How love can remain even when form changes Parenting through heartbreak while tending to your own heart Why emotional sensitivity is strength How to step back into life while honoring the past Key Takeaways: Love doesn't end.  It evolves. Grief becomes part of who we are, not something to resolve. Rebuilding your life does not diminish what came before. Healing is remembering. Sometimes the unimaginable doesn't crash through the door — it slips in quietly, rearranging everything you thought you knew about life.  It's the moment that divides you into before and after, when truth stops being an idea and becomes something your body feels before your mind can name it. In this powerful solo episode, Chrissie explores what happens when the unimaginable finds you — when loss, change, or endings shake the foundation of who you are.  Through personal reflection, storytelling, and embodied truth, she reveals how grief and gratitude can coexist, how the body becomes the bridge between survival and healing, and how love transforms rather than disappears. If you're walking through something that feels impossible to name, this episode offers language, presence, and permission to simply be where you are — without needing to fix what cannot be undone. You'll Learn: Why the unimaginable feels different from unexpected change How the body carries truth before the mind can process it The connection between grief, gratitude, and transformation How loss reshapes identity and expands emotional capacity Why integration, not endurance, is the true measure of healing Key Takeaways: The unimaginable doesn't just change what you do — it changes who you are. Grief doesn't shrink with time.  Our capacity to hold it grows. Love doesn't end.  It transforms. Healing isn't a return — it's a sacred re-entry into yourself. Stillness isn't emptiness.  It's the ground where truth settles and grows roots. Sometimes collapse isn't sudden.  It's slow, disguised as "we're managing" or "it'll get better next month."  Until one day you realize you're standing in a life that no longer adds up emotionally or financially.  The bills are the same, the income isn't, and the silence between you carries more weight than the numbers ever could. In this episode of Who Are You Now?, Chrissie Morgan sits down with guest Kara Elkins to share a powerful story of financial loss, faith, and rebuilding from the inside out. After a year of unemployment, mounting debt, bankruptcy, and selling their family home, Kara and her family were stripped down to what was real—and found a new definition of abundance rooted in truth, unity, and gratitude.  This conversation explores the hidden shame around money, the emotional toll of being "the provider," and the unexpected peace that comes when you stop pretending and start rebuilding from truth. You'll Learn: Why financial loss exposes what's already fragile How to talk with teens about money without passing on fear The difference between generosity and self-abandonment How faith and boundaries rebuild stability and peace What abundance really means when everything falls away Timestamps: 00:00 - The slow collapse and why truth matters 00:56 - Meet Kara Elkins 02:14 - Life before the layoff 04:44 - Early warning signs and false safety 07:02 - Severance, shock, and "acting like it's fine" 10:40 - Illusion vs. reality in the family budget 13:00 - Shame, identity, and the meaning of "provider" 15:02 - Lessons for teens:  scarcity, gratitude, resilience 20:14 - Boundaries with extended family 30:23 - Bankruptcy, downsizing, and relief 38:39 - Finding peace and spiritual freedom 41:29 - Starting over: Kara's business and purpose 46:35 - Generosity without losing yourself 55:46 - Self-care, regulation, and healing in the body 1:01:00 - If you're in the storm: hold onto this truth 1:09:28 - Final reflections and gratitude   Subscribe for exclusive reflections and early access: https://whoareyounow.substack.com Instagram: @whoareyounowpodcast Behind the scenes: @chrissiecorner Follow on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@WhoAreYouNowPodcast Podcast Hub: https://whoareyounowpodcast.com Hosted by Chrissie Morgan – Physical Therapist, Master Life Coach, and creator of the Body Awareness Method, a framework for reconnecting with your four bodies: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.
You raise your kids, send them off to college, and start to dream again.  Then the phone rings–and suddenly, you're being pulled in another direction. In this episode of Who Are You Now?, the miniseries The Unexpected continues as Chrissie speaks with Donna Cespon Benedict, who shares her deeply relatable story of navigating the squeeze–that middle place where your kids still need you in some ways, your parents need you in others, and your own dreams get pushed to the background. Together, we explore the emotional and practical toll of midlife caregiving, the ways sibling dynamics affect the journey, and the unexpected healing that can come from showing compassion to both yourself and your family. You'll Learn: What "the squeeze" feels like when you're pulled between parents and kids The emotional and practical toll of midlife caregiving Why sibling dynamics can complicate or ease the process The importance of planning, communication, and family conversations Key Takeaways: Caring for aging parents often exposes old wounds–and unexpected opportunities for healing Midlife dreams matter, even when caregiving takes center stage Communication won't solve everything, but it helps you feel less alone Compassion for yourself is just as vital as compassion for those you care for Timestamps: 00:00 - Introduction to The Unexpected 00:43 - The Squeeze: Caring for Aging Parents 01:13 - Donna's Story: Navigating Midlife Challenges 05:06 - Family Dynamics and Communication 16:48 - Practical Challenges and Daily Life 19:40 - Balancing Personal Needs and Family Responsibilities 26:16 - The Importance of Communication and Legacy 42:15 - Holding Onto Personal Passions Amid Caregiving 43:41 - Shifting Roles in Healing and Teaching 48:34 - Caring for Aging Parents 01:03:09 - The Importance of Communication and Planning 01:07:57 - Healing and Compassion in Family Dynamics 01:19:06 - Final Thoughts on Caregiving and Personal Growth   Subscribe for exclusive reflections and early access: https://whoareyounow.substack.com Instagram: @whoareyounowpodcast Behind the scenes: @chrissiecorner Follow on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@WhoAreYouNowPodcast Podcast hub: https://whoareyounowpodcast.com Hosted by Chrissie Morgan – Physical Therapist, Master Life Coach, and creator of the Body Awareness Method, a framework for reconnecting with your four bodies: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual

Outdated scripts of toughness, silence, and self-reliance no longer fit the world our boys are growing up in.  One of the last places boys consistently find mentors outside the home is in sports.  And that's where both the crisis–and the solution–show up. In this episode, Chrissie sits down with Coach Jeff Noviello, who has been shaping young athletes for over 26 years with the Junior Ducks youth program.  From his beginnings coaching a girls' hockey team in 1999 to guiding boys across multiple generations, Jeff shares how coaching goes far beyond the scoreboard.  Drawing from personal experiences, including his son's leukemia diagnosis, Jeff opens up about resilience, presence, and the kind of mentorship boys need to grow into men. Whether you're a parent, coach, or simply care about the next generation, this conversation sheds light on the challenges boys face today and how we can create a culture of accountability, vulnerability, and heart. You'll Learn: Why outdated definitions of toughness and self-reliance no longer work for boys today How sports coaching can shape life skills beyond the game The role of presence, time management, and accountability in mentoring Why parent-coach collaboration matters for raising resilient kids How resilience, gratitude, and listening form the foundation of Jeff's philosophy Key Takeaways: Mentorship in sports is about shaping people, not just players Presence and listening are the most powerful tools a coach can offer Time management and accountability teach boys life skills beyond athletics Parents and coaches must collaborate to support boys' growth Strength today includes vulnerability, resilience, and heart Timestamps: 00:00 - Introduction to the quiet crisis in young men 00:35 - Meet Coach Jeff Noviello 02:33 - Challenges facing today's young athletes 04:39 - Building a team: philosophy and strategy 09:11 - Multi-sport participation and injury prevention 15:58 - Mentorship that extends beyond sports 25:12 - Creating a culture of accountability and buy-in 35:54 - Legacy, impact, and alumni connections 41:27 - Communication and delivering value to families 47:46 - Coaching while parenting: the balance 52:21 - The role of mentors in shaping young men 01:03:21 - Parents and coaches working together 01:14:05 - The purpose of coaching beyond sports 01:16:12 - Closing thoughts on mentorship and legacy   Subscribe for exclusive reflections and early access:  https://whoareyounow.substack.com Instagram:  @whoareyounowpodcast Behind the scenes: @chrissiecorner Follow on YouTube: https://youtube.com/@WhoAreYouNowPodcast Podcast hub: https://whoareyounowpodcast.com Hosted by Chrissie Morgan – Physical Therapist, Master Life Coach, and creator of the Body Awareness Method, a framework for reconnecting with your four bodies: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual
Young men are struggling in silence – and it's costing them their future.  Depression, disconnection, and outdated masculinity norms are fueling a quiet crisis. In this episode, Chrissie sits down with Dr. Nate Balfanz, a licensed clinical psychologist with more than 20 years of experience working with teens, young adults, and families.  Together they explore what's driving the crisis, how generational shifts in masculinity play a role, and what parents, communities, and young men themselves can do to turn the tide. You'll Learn: Why today's young men are more disconnected despite being "more connected" online How generational shifts are reshaping masculinity and leaving boys without a clear roadmap Why vulnerability is not weakness but a key to resilience and identity What parents often miss when supporting their sons – and what to do instead How modeling, presence, and repair build long-term emotional strength Key Takeaways: Masculinity without vulnerability leaves boys disconnected and isolated Social media magnifies feelings of "not belonging" in critical identity years Academic and career paralysis is often fear-based, not ability-based Parenting is less about correction and more about modeling resilience and repair The most powerful message: It's okay to not be okay Timestamps: 00:00 – Introduction: The Quiet Crisis of Young Men 03:58 – What's Driving the Crisis? Young men are struggling in silence – and it's costing them their future.  Depression, disconnection, and a quiet sense of not belonging are rising, while academic performance is dropping and many are retreating from community instead of moving toward it. This episode isn't about blame.  It's about understanding what's happening, why it matters, and how we as parents–and especially as mothers–can help our sons navigate a shifting definition of masculinity.  Drawing from personal stories, generational perspectives, and parenting experiences, Chrissie explores how to create space for boys to grow into men with presence, confidence, and resilience. You'll Learn: Why boys are caught between outdated and emerging definitions of masculinity How generational shifts reveal new layers of strength, presence, and authenticity Why failure is not weakness but the foundation of resilience and growth How sports, physical strength, and responsibility build confidence without aggression The role parents–especially mothers–play in modeling peace, self-trust, and accountability Key Takeaways: Masculinity without vulnerability leaves boys disconnected Failure reframed as "what did you learn?" creates resilience Physical strength supports emotional and mental strength Parenting is less about correction and more about holding space The most powerful lesson: our sons don't need rescuing–they need belief and presence Timestamps: 00:00 - The Quiet Crisis of Young Men 01:28 - Generational shifts in masculinity 06:04 - Reframing failure as resilience 07:17 - Hockey story – growth through setbacks 08:47 - Social media and impossible standards 10:31 - Parenting with presence and trust 14:21 - Physical strength, confidence, and responsibility 17:17 - Redefining happiness as peace and resilience 21:13 - Parenting tools – listening without fixing 25:52 - Signs of transformation in boys   Subscribe for exclusive reflections and early access: https://whoareyounow.substack.com Instagram: @whoareyounowpodcast Behind the scenes: @chrissiecorner Follow on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@WhoAreYouNowPodcast Podcast hub: https://whoareyounowpodcast.com Hosted by Chrissie Morgan – Physical Therapist, Master Life Coach, and creator of the Body Awareness Method, a framework for reconnecting with your four bodies: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.
What happens when the rules, roles, and survival tools that once carried you stop working? In this first WTF? Midlife episode of Season 2, Chrissie Morgan and her longtime best friend and co-host, Marva Silva, get real about the identities that no longer fit.  From people pleasing to over-functioning, from co-dependency to toxic productivity, they explore the grief of letting go, the discomfort of sitting in truth, and the freedom that rises when you finally stop surviving and start living.
