If you've ever felt like dropping something wasn't an option because it all feels like it "has" to get done, this episode will challenge everything you think you "have" to do. I'm talking with estate planning attorney and mom, Whitney Ellison, who built a 4-day workweek that fits her life—not the other way around. Her mantra? It can wait. But this isn't just about working less. It's about: How to say no without guilt Letting go of the pressure to do it all - for work, your kids, and your home Redefining what rest looks like in this season Setting boundaries that actually stick There's a moment in this conversation that I can't stop thinking about - when Whitney opted out of something in real time because it didn't serve her. That one decision completely changed how I think about permission, priorities, and what it means to be a "good mom." And yes, we also cover a few estate planning basics every parent should know—because that's one thing that can't wait. If you're tired of rushing, overcommitting, or feeling like you're always behind, this episode will help you rethink your time and remind you that you get to choose what matters most. ========================== 🔗 Links & Resources: ========================== Work with Whitney at Belle Legal Holotropic Breathwork in Cincinnati ========================== 📲 Stay Connected! ========================== 💌 Join my email list for weekly coaching tips & other resources ➡️ Subscribe to Working Mom Wednesday newsletter 📸 Follow me on Instagram for working mom inspo ➡️https://www.instagram.com/lovemothernurture/ 🤝 Connect with me on LinkedIn ➡️https://www.linkedin.com/in/katelyndenning/ New episodes drop every Tuesday! Most families think they'll "travel more someday." But what if someday comes faster than you think? In this episode, I'm talking with a working mom of two teens who has made travel and experiences a consistent priority—even with full-time work, busy schedules, and all the logistics of family life. We talk about how she approaches it, what it looks like in different seasons, and why these experiences matter more than we often realize. If you've ever wondered how to make travel work for your family—or if it's even worth it—this conversation will shift your perspective. ========================== 🔗 Links & Resources: ========================== Airbnb experiences Withlocals Learn more about coaching for working moms ========================== 📲 Stay Connected! Tis the season for illnesses, snow days, days off school, and so many other unexpected reasons for the kids to be home when you need to work. In this episode, I'm sharing what I do from the moment I receive the call (or hear the cough) to still be able to get things done while also navigating having a kid at home (or being sick myself). You know it's important to exercise, and actually, you want to because you feel so much better when you do. But as a busy working mom, the question is where does it fit?? In this episode, I'm walking you through exactly how I coach women to start (or restart) a movement routine in a season where time feels tight, kids need you, and work is full. I talk about: Why auditing your time is the first step How to let go of all-or-nothing thinking What it really means to "expand your definition" of exercise How to use 1–5% improvements to build momentum Why you should experiment at least three times before deciding something "doesn't work" From 10-minute living room workouts to lifting heavy weights years later, I'm sharing what this has looked like in my own life — and how you can plant the seeds now for the routine you want long-term. If movement is one of your goals this year, this episode will help you start — without waiting for more time, more energy, or a different season. ========================== 🔗 Links & Resources: ========================== Follow Simi Botic on Instagram Apply for 1:1 coaching ========================== 📲 Stay Connected! ========================== 💌 Join my email list for weekly coaching tips & other resources ➡️ Subscribe to The Working Mom Journal newsletter 📸 Follow me on Instagram for working mom inspo ➡️https://www.instagram.com/lovemothernurture/ 🤝 Connect with me on LinkedIn ➡️https://www.linkedin.com/in/katelyndenning/ New episodes drop every Tuesday! In this episode, I'm joined by a Beyond Balance client who's a toddler mom and co-owns an architecture firm with her husband. She shares what it's really like to juggle parenting, partnership, and running a business—and the moment she realized that constant stress and exhaustion didn't have to be her default. We talk about the myth of "being organized" and how her endless to-do lists were actually fueling her overwhelm. She shares how she learned to prioritize with intention, navigate sick days without spiraling, and reframe her work hours as a choice, not a burden. She also opens up about her hesitation to join a group program and how, instead of getting lost in the crowd, she found herself getting double the coaching—learning from others' questions and applying those insights to her own life. If you've ever wondered, "Is this just how it is?" this conversation will show you that it doesn't have to be. ========================== 🔗 Links & Resources: ========================== Learn more about Beyond Balance and apply before 2/10/26 ========================== 📲 Stay Connected!
