This is a special episode of the Anchors Aweigh podcast to introduce the audience to incoming Navy athletic director Michael Kelly. Mike James of The Mid Report and producer Chris Servello join moderator Bill Wagner to discuss various Navy Athletics issues with Kelly, who takes the helm of the Naval Academy Athletic Association on Monday.

We preview the Navy baseball season by talking to head coach Chuck Ristano and senior captain Victor Izquierdo. The Midshipmen are picked third in the Patriot League preseason poll. Navy went 4-0 in Star Series competitions last Saturday. We recap all the wins with gymnastics coach Kip Simons talking about beating Army in the Star meet for the eighth straight year. 
We preview Navy women's lacrosse ahead of Friday's opener at Virginia. We interview legendary head coach Cindy Timchal and senior co-captain Emma Kennedy and highlight that Navy is the preseason favorite in the Patriot League. We also talk to Navy football players Eli Heidenreich and Landon Robinson about their experiences at the East-West Shrine Bowl. 
We preview Navy men's lacrosse ahead of Saturday's season opener against High Point in Annapolis (weather permitting). We interview head coach Joe Amplo along with senior attackman and co-captain Mac Haley. We also recap the Army-Navy basketball doubleheader with radio play-by-play announcer Matt Sabados. Matt broadcast both games of a Navy sweep of Army. Lastly, we report on an historic decision by the Touchdown Club of Annapolis regarding the prestigious Tony Rubino Memorial Silver Helmet Award.

Mike James, publisher of The Mid Report and color commentator for the Navy Football Radio Network, joins moderator Bill Wagner to review the impressive postseason win. We put the spotlight on Navy swimming and diving by interviewing men's coach Bill Roberts and women's coach John Morrison. 
Navy football will look to make history by beating Cincinnati of the Big 12 Conference in the Liberty Bowl. The Midshipmen are seeking just the third 11-win season in program history. Navy can also total 21 victories in consecutive seasons for the first time. We also talk to Navy men's basketball coach Jon Perry and Navy women's basketball coach Tim Taylor for a midseason report. 
The 126th edition of the Army-Navy Game produced another thriller. Navy rallied from a nine-point deficit to beat Army, 17-16. We review every aspect of the Navy victory with Mike James, publisher of The Mid Report and color commentator for the Navy Football Radio Network. Also, we introduce the Anchors Aweigh listeners to newly-hired Navy men's soccer coach John Hackworth, one of the most respected figures in the sport.
