People are the best…and also sometimes, people are the worst. Regardless, we need people in our lives - and that requires HUMILITY. It’s one thing to “be the branch” with the all-powerful, all-knowing, all-loving God - but can we “be the branch” with other people? If we simply STAY with God in every season we go through, we will find true success and fulfillment! He is the Source of Life and those who stay connected to Him no matter what, will never be lost! In John 15, Jesus tells us that “apart from Him, we can do nothing.” Why would we ever disconnect from the “Source of life?!” Because it’s hard? Or we don’t understand? Or it’s unjust? Jesus makes it blatantly clear in John 15 that HE alone is the VINE…and we are the branches. That’s not an insult, but rather the embodiment of our God-given purpose in life! When “branches” try to pretend like they’re “the vine,” life gets complicated, confusing and chaotic! Branches have 2 functions: Remain in the Vine & Produce Fruit. There are a lot of opinions being voiced in society today…. Proverbs 3 was written by King Solomon, the wisest person to ever live, and Canonized in the Holy Bible, making it the inspired Word of God. Jesus went looking for the “woman at the well,” NOT to condemn her but to redeem her. She had adapted her lifestyle to accommodate her secret, but Jesus came to set her free. Jesus knew everything that would happen on the Cross and He STILL went forward. At no point was the Son of God in trouble or in danger of losing…it wasn’t a close call - it was the plan all along! In life, seasons come to an end, but sometimes we “call it quits” before it’s actually over. Other people will say it’s over - we often tell ourselves it’s over - and even the odds or facts of life will indicate it’s over… but if God hasn’t said it’s over, it’s not a thing!
