The gospel of Jesus Christ is complete and sufficient for our salvation; nothing more needs to be added to what He has accomplished. No amount of good works can enhance, change, or add to the power of the gospel, for our hope rests in Christ alone. As followers of Jesus, we are called to stand firm in this truth and faithfully share the Good News with others.

The world often waits for a better season to come. Yet Jesus stood in the synagogue and declared that favor was no longer coming—it had arrived in Him. May our lives declare that same favor, that we'd help others receive it in Christ as we proclaim the gospel, and reflect it as we live it out among them.

Oppression doesn't always look like chains—sometimes it looks like shame, greed, or isolation. Yet Jesus sought out Zacchaeus, an outcast trapped by greed, and set him free. May our hearts seek out the overlooked and oppressed, that we'd help them find freedom in Christ as we proclaim the gospel, and welcome them as we live it out among them.

Many walk through life unable to see who Jesus really is. Yet Jesus stopped for the blind beggar others tried to silence, and gave him sight. May our eyes be open to those who can't see Him yet, that we'd help them encounter the light of Christ as we proclaim the gospel, and walk with them as we live it out.

Some are bound by chains no one else can see or break. Yet Jesus met a man tormented by many demons, cast them out, and gave him back his mind and freedom. May our eyes be open to those still bound, that we'd help them find freedom in Christ as we proclaim the gospel, and stand by them as we live it out among them.
