Description

Open Doors is a conversation about inviting God’s love, presence, and power into our hearts. We are friends and teammates from Heart of the Father Ministries who share in the mission of setting captive hearts free through Unbound ministry. We’ll be touching on the impact of Neal Lozano’s book, Unbound, and hearing stories of lives changed through Unbound ministry. At times we’ll dig deep into the Five Keys of Unbound, simple responses to the gospel with profound impact on hearts and lives. Join us for stories, insights, reflections, and prayer as we seek Him together! Learn more at www.heartofthefather.com. Music by Christian Harper. Artwork by Rosemary Strohm at Command-S.

We learn the amazing way in which God opened doors and made a way, including Anne receiving a word from the Lord in the...
Love is the topic of this final episode of our Advent series as Lisa hosts Matt and Jenn, who recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. They discuss the two sides of love – both in the context of marriage and in our relationship with Jesus as we approach Christmas. There is the “feelings” kind of love and then there is the deeper love which equals commitment. Sometimes this means doing something we don’t feel like doing, but it brings about depth and purpose within a relationship. W...
Join Jacqueline, Janet, and Lisa for the third week of our Advent series as we explore something we’re all craving these days: real joy. With so much heaviness in the world, joy can feel distant or even confusing. So what is this kind of joy we’re meant to experience, and why can it feel so hard to hold onto? In this episode, these three dig into the meaning of joy from a faith perspective, but also through personal stories that show what it looks like in real life. Janet provides several hel...

The birth of Jesus can be described as: A message of peace from the heart of our Heavenly Father. Neal encourages listeners to pursue a relationship with Jesus because He Himself is our peace (Ephesians 2:14). It was the intention of God to bring peace throug...

In this inspiring episode, Matt Lozano hosts Emily Wilson as they meet with Patty McDonald, leader of the Unbound team in San Jose, California. What does it mean to have authority in Jesus’ name? Jenn hosts this sixth week of the Unbound Book Study series as we talk about the issue of authority. In the book Unbound, Neal emphasizes that speaking words out loud is important. Jacqueline and Lisa share how they have exercised personal authority in the name of Jesus through prayer, and in speaking truth as parents. Authority exists because it has been given to someone. Jacqueline speaks of a significant moment in her life when the power ...
Emily hosts Matt and Jacqueline for Week 5 of our Unbound Book Study: "I Renounce in The Name of Jesus." Speaking renunciation is crucial because “It gets you out of your own head,” says Matt. It declares a verbal end to lies and negative influences and creates accountability, providing a "feedback loop" to hear your expressed will. It is participating in God's creative act by saying "no" to darkness and "yes" to light. Praying in Jesus’ name means communion with His person and will, r...
