In this episode of PrinterChat, Will Crabtree introduces the revamped Printer Bridge platform from 4over that provides printers with an online storefront and web-to-print system designed to make it easier to sell print, manage orders, and run production from one place. Available through a monthly subscription, the platform is built by printers for printers to use without technical knowledge. You can launch your own online store, choose the products you want to sell, customize your catalog and pricing, and get started without having to build an e-commerce system from scratch. The rebuilt platform also connects online ordering, estimating, workflow, customer data, reporting, file management, shipping, payments, and fulfillment. Printers can produce jobs in-house or send them to 4over for fulfillment while keeping control of the customer relationship and order process. The conversation also covers how printers can use customer order data to identify inactive business, manage pricing, create custom products and estimates, connect Printer Bridge to an existing website, and reduce the number of separate software systems needed to run their shop. For printers without online ordering, Printer Bridge provides a straightforward way to add e-commerce. For printers with existing systems and workflows, the discussion also looks at how the platform can fit into or replace parts of their current technology.
