it's called "breaking" because you literally "break" the spirit of the horse and make it submissive. 😢😢

hello, first-time listener here! I wanted to ask if you ever heard of Terrilynn Poulette of Eskasoni in Cape Breton of Canada. She was my close cousin who went missing and then was found on an island near the community deceased. From what I heard in the past, she died from exposure. but I still don't know why she was found there, alone. Who took her there? How did she die? #NoMoreStolenSisters

The jalajhia finklea story is so similar to the story of layana sawyer. I had to go back and look to see if it was the story I read or a different person. That’s how close it was. Crazy.

I remember this case from Unsolved Mysteries, it terrified me and broke my heart. I have read up a bit since then and some people think Penny was involved, even that she sold her daughter. Because of a failed polygraph or other inconsistencies. I wonder if Penny could not remember how the entire night before played out. If she brought a man home and did not remember. If she forgot to lock the door. If some men basically followed her home knowing there were vulnerable kids.

Thanks for sharing these cases with us. My grandmother is half Cherokee and I have always been intrigued with Native American heritage. I had no idea until just a few years ago that indigenous people had these statistics in missing people and murders.
