Description

I am a Registered Homeopath and retired Lactation Consultant who loves Jesus and believes in the power of prayer in healing and restoration. God designed our bodies to heal themselves. We interfere with the body’s abilities by introducing medications which stop the action our bodies were made to do - heal! Homeopathy comes in and stimulates the immune system to help the body remember how to heal itself. ALL people are welcomed here, no matter your beliefs! I discuss mostly homeopathy here, but also I bring an encouraging word from the Lord and touch on the topics of parenting, homeschooling, marriage, and nutrition. Welcome to my world! It’s a beautiful, healthy life!

Send a text to Melissa and she’ll answer it on the next episode. One day you are paying for stacks of supplements and trying to keep your family afloat. The next day, one homeopathic remedy works so clearly that it resets what you think is possible. That is where Abby’s story begins, and it is why we wanted you to meet her as part of the Homeopathy at Home with Melissa team. We talk through the moment Abby’s whole family got sick, what it felt like to run out of budget and options, and how ...

The earlier mornings, new routines, bigger social pressure, and constant mental focus don’t just change behavior, they load the nervous system. When that load climbs, immunity and digestion often take the hit first, which is why so many kids melt down, stop sleeping well, complain of stomach aches, or come down with some...
Send a text to Melissa and she’ll answer it on the next episode. Altitude sickness can turn a dream trip into a foggy, headachy struggle and it often hits when you least expect it, sometimes 12 to 24 hours after you arrive. We’re talking about what high elevation does to the body, why thin air affects some people more than others, and the early signs that tell you it’s not just “travel fatigue.” If you’ve ever felt short of breath on a simple walk, couldn’t sleep, lost your appetite, or got ...
Send a text to Melissa and she’ll answer it on the next episode. Headaches, night cramps, brain fog, and a racing heart can feel random—until you trace them back to a simple truth: hydration without minerals falls short. We dig into how dehydration and electrolyte imbalance shape mood, sleep, energy, and muscle function, and why the fix isn’t just “drink more water.” From heat exposure and travel to stomach bugs and stress, we map the real-world triggers that drain fluids and minerals like s...
Send a text to Melissa and she’ll answer it on the next episode. Summer sneaks up with more than sun-kissed skin—sometimes it brings pounding headaches, nausea, and a wave of fatigue that won’t quit. We unpack the real difference between sunburn and heat exhaustion, explain why they don’t always arrive together, and share a clear plan to recognize danger early and respond with confidence. Along the way, we trade personal stories—including a sudden heat crash at a theme park—and translate tho...
