Description

All About The Joy is a weekly hang-out with friends in the neighborhood! We share insight, advice, funny-isms and we choose to always try and find the positive, the silver lining, the "light" in all of it. AATJ comes from the simple concept that at the end of the day we all want to have more JOY than not. So, this is a cool place to unwind, have a laugh and share some time with friends!

It’s easy to look at someone’s life from the outside and make assumptions about what they have, how they feel, or how easy things must be for them. But so much of what we project onto others - and what they project onto us - is just an illusion. In this episode Carmen reflects on a recent conversation with a friend that touched on comparison, material value, and the deep desire for true human connection. She breaks down why comparing our journeys leads us astray, why material stuff never fill...
