Your support truly brings blessings! If you've been following along, you might notice something surprising today—your cravings may not be as loud as they used to be. That constant urge to reach for something sweet… That "I just need a little snack" feeling… It begins to soften. And no, you're not imagining it. Cloves have been used for centuries to support digestion and balance in the body. What's fascinating is how they interact with the way your body processes carbohydrates. Instead of experiencing those sharp spikes and crashes in energy, your system begins to feel more steady… more calm… more grounded. And when your blood sugar feels stable, your cravings often follow. For many, Day 4 is when things "click." You may feel: • More focused throughout the day • Less distracted by thoughts of food • More satisfied after meals • A gentle sense of calm in your body In ancient traditions, cloves were often used after meals to support digestion and help the body recover from heaviness. Today, we understand more about why—cloves may help regulate how quickly sugar enters the bloodstream, supporting more balanced energy levels throughout the day. So if today feels a little easier… If you're not reaching for sugar as often… If your energy feels more stable… Take a moment to acknowledge that. Your body is responding. Your small, daily choices are adding up. You're doing something really good for yourself.
Welcome to Day 3 of the Cloves Challenge! Let's talk about this ANCIENT, natural remedy for bloating and gas... Get access to the FREE Biblical Health Plan: https://thebiblicalnutritionist.com/f... Your support truly brings blessings! This is the day many people begin to notice something different… not just in how they feel overall, but specifically in their digestion. And I'll tell you right away — this is where cloves really begin to shine. For generations, cloves have been used to support the digestive system in a gentle and natural way. In ancient writings, they were known for freshening breath, calming the stomach, and even preparing the body for meals. Not by forcing anything… but by helping the body do what it was already designed to do. That's the difference. This isn't about quick fixes or extreme changes. It's about supporting your body so it can function the way it was created to function. By Day 3, some people begin to notice simple but meaningful shifts like: • less bloating throughout the day • smoother digestion after meals • less heaviness or discomfort • and sometimes even fewer cravings You may notice your stomach feels a little flatter. Or that "full" feeling doesn't linger as long. Or maybe things just feel… calmer. And just like the last couple of days, it might be subtle. But subtle changes matter. They're often the first signs that your gut is responding — that your digestion is becoming more efficient, more supported, and less burdened. And here's something important to remember: This isn't a diet. You're not restricting. You're not forcing your body into anything. This is stewardship. You're giving your digestive system the support it needs so it can do what it was designed to do. When you start to see it that way, everything changes. You begin to listen more closely. You become more aware of how your body responds. And you start building trust in the process. So if you're noticing even the smallest shift today — don't ignore it. Acknowledge it. Because that's how real, lasting change begins. If you're doing this challenge with me, I'd love to hear what you're experiencing.
Welcome back to Day 2 of the Cloves Challenge! Today we'll talk about a natural anti inflammatory food - an ancient remedy for inflammation that you need to start taking everyday. Your support truly brings blessings! Today, we're diving into one of the most powerful (and often overlooked) benefits of cloves — their ability to naturally support the body in calming internal inflammation. Cloves contain a compound called eugenol, and it is incredibly potent. Long before modern medicine gave us terms like "anti-inflammatory," ancient healers used cloves to soothe swelling, ease discomfort, and bring the body back into balance. And the beautiful part? This isn't about forcing your body to change overnight. It's about supporting it… gently, consistently, and naturally. If you've been experiencing things like: • morning stiffness • puffy eyes when you wake up • joint tightness throughout the day • or that heavy, bloated, inflamed feeling Today might be the first moment you notice even the smallest shift. Small changes are often the beginning of real healing. Your body is incredibly intelligent — and when you give it the right support, it knows exactly what to do. So if you felt even the tiniest difference today… pause and acknowledge it. Celebrate it.
The Blood Test That Saved My Health: The Markers You Should Be Tracking Most people wait for symptoms before they take their health seriously. But what if you could see warning signs years before a diagnosis? In this episode, Annette shares the blood markers that changed her life and how ordering simple lab work helped her and her husband catch inflammation and metabolic stress early. Why You Should Not Wait for Symptoms Years ago, routine blood work revealed high inflammation, low energy markers, and signs of stress even though they did not feel severely sick. That wake up call shifted everything. Instead of waiting for fear or crisis, they began tracking key numbers regularly and making changes before problems escalated. The Most Important Markers to Know Annette walks through foundational labs that give early insight into inflammation, metabolic health, and nutrient status. These include C reactive protein for inflammation, vitamin D levels, fasting glucose, A1c, triglycerides, HDL, fasting insulin, ferritin, B12, magnesium, and omega 3 index. She also explains why the triglyceride to HDL ratio can reveal hidden metabolic stress long before other markers become abnormal. Understanding Cancer Markers Without Fear Cancer antigen markers such as CA 125, CA 19 9, CEA, AFP, and CA 15 3 are often misunderstood. These tests do not diagnose cancer on their own, but they can serve as early signals that something in the body needs attention. Annette shares her personal experience monitoring CA 125 after a lung procedure and how lifestyle changes directly influenced her results. Numbers Are Information, Not Destiny Lab results are not a sentence. They are information. When you know your numbers, you can adjust your nutrition, supplements, stress levels, and exercise habits early. Tracking patterns over time gives clarity and peace instead of fear. Stewardship Over Crisis This episode is a call to proactive health. Ordering your own blood work, reviewing trends, and working with a practitioner if needed empowers you to make changes before your body begins to shout. Knowing your numbers is an act of stewardship, not fear. == Did this episode bless you? Your support truly brings blessings! Today, we begin with a small habit that has been used for generations—cloves steeped in hot water. It may seem almost too simple, but sometimes the most gentle, consistent practices are the ones that create the biggest shifts in how we feel. Cloves are one of the most antioxidant-rich spices available. For centuries, they've been valued not only for their flavor but for their natural ability to support the body—especially digestion, cleansing, and overall wellness. Historical writings connected to ancient Israel even mention cloves as a treasured household spice, known for their purifying and healing properties. For this challenge, there's nothing complicated to follow. No expensive ingredients. No strict routines. Just one intentional moment each morning. Here's what you'll do: - Take 4 to 7 whole cloves - Pour hot water over them - Let them steep for 5 to 10 minutes - Then slowly drink and allow your body to receive it That's it. Simple, grounding, and easy to stay consistent with.
Avoid These Fresh Milled Flour Mistakes for Better Bread Every Time Is your freshly milled bread turning out dense, flat, gummy, or disappointing? The problem may not be your grain mill or your recipe. In this episode, Annette breaks down the most common mistakes people make when baking with fresh milled flour and shares simple fixes that can instantly improve your bread, muffins, and pancakes. Using the Right Grain the Right Way Not every grain works for every recipe. Hard wheat is best for bread. Soft wheat works better for muffins and biscuits. Ancient grains like einkorn and spelt require different handling than modern wheat. Choosing the right grain for the right bake is the first step to better texture and structure. Hydration and Resting Matter More Than You Think Freshly milled flour absorbs more water than store bought flour because it still contains the bran and natural oils. Letting the flour rest after adding water allows it to fully hydrate. Even letting freshly milled flour sit for a short time before baking can improve flavor and structure. Watching the dough instead of the clock helps prevent over fermenting. Avoid Heat and Overworking the Dough If flour comes out too hot from the mill, nutrients and flavor can be affected. Milling in smaller batches or allowing flour to cool before baking can help. Ancient grains also require gentle mixing. Over kneading einkorn, spelt, or emmer can lead to dense bread. Balance Flavor with Salt and Sweetness Fresh whole grains have a stronger flavor than refined flour. Adding the proper amount of salt is essential for structure and taste. A small amount of natural sweetness like honey, maple syrup, or molasses can help balance the earthy flavor of whole wheat. Fresh Flour Is Different by Design Fresh milled flour does not behave like store bought flour. It is alive, more flavorful, and more nutrient dense. It takes practice and patience, but once you understand how it works, you can create bread that is richer, more satisfying, and better for your health. == Did this episode bless you? No Grain Mill? How to Make Fresh Flour Without Expensive Equipment Do you really need a grain mill to make healthy, freshly milled bread at home? In this episode, Annette compares using a Vitamix blender versus a traditional grain mill to help you decide which option fits your budget and lifestyle. Vitamix vs Grain Mill: What Is the Difference A high quality grain mill produces fine flour quickly and consistently. But if you already own a Vitamix or similar high powered blender, you may not need to invest in a separate machine. The key is using the dry blade attachment and milling the grain long enough to achieve a fine texture. If the flour feels gritty, it needs more time. When milled properly, bread made from a blender can look and taste nearly identical to bread made from a grain mill. Why Freshly Milled Flour Matters Fresh flour contains more nutrients, fiber, and natural oils compared to store bought flour. When you mill your own grain, you control the quality and avoid additives found in commercial bread. Fresh whole grain bread is more nutrient dense, more satisfying, and better for gut health than processed grocery store options. Saving Money While Feeding Your Family Well Buying whole grains in bulk is often more affordable than buying packaged bread. Grain stores well, giving you a reliable pantry staple during rising food costs. Whether you use a dedicated grain mill, a Vitamix, or another strong blender, the goal is to provide real, nourishing food made from ingredients God created. Take Control of Your Bread You do not have to spend hundreds of dollars to start baking healthier bread. Start with what you have. Mill your grain as finely as possible, follow simple techniques, and enjoy the flavor and nutrition of real bread made at home. == Did this episode bless you? Einkorn vs Modern Wheat: Is Ancient Wheat Really Better? Einkorn is growing in popularity, but is it really the oldest wheat mentioned in the Bible? In this episode, Annette sits down with grain expert Sue Becker to break down what einkorn is, how it compares to modern wheat, and whether it truly offers unique health benefits. What Makes Einkorn Different Einkorn is considered one of the most ancient varieties of wheat. Unlike modern "naked" wheat that separates easily from its husk, einkorn is a covered grain, which makes it harder to process and less common today. That extra work is one reason it fell out of popularity. Some people believe its older genetic structure makes it easier to digest, though it still contains gluten forming proteins. Is Modern Wheat Really the Problem Many claim modern wheat has changed dramatically over time. However, research comparing wheat seeds from over the past century shows little difference in gluten or protein content. The issue may not be the wheat itself, but how it is processed and consumed. Freshly milled whole grains offer better flavor, aroma, and nutrition compared to refined flour products. How to Cook and Use Einkorn Einkorn can be cooked whole just like rice. Use two parts liquid to one part grain, simmer until tender, and let it rest before fluffing. It works well as a side dish, in grain salads, porridge, muffins, pancakes, and even bread. While it has a pleasant flavor, it is often more expensive due to limited supply and processing challenges. Choosing Whole Grains with Confidence Whether you choose einkorn, spelt, emmer, or modern wheat, the focus should be on whole, properly prepared grains. Fresh milling, simple cooking methods, and returning to traditional food preparation can make a meaningful difference in digestion, taste, and overall health. == Did this episode bless you? 12 Bread Making Mistakes That Ruin Your Loaf and How to Fix Them Have you ever pulled a loaf of bread out of the oven only to find it gooey inside, too dense, too dry, or collapsed? In this episode, Annette walks through the most common bread making mistakes and shows you exactly how to fix them so you can bake perfect whole-grain bread every time. Why Your Bread Is Not Turning Out Right From underbaking and using too much flour to inactive yeast and cold ingredients, small details make a big difference. You will learn how to check internal temperature, why dough texture matters, how to avoid overproofing, and what causes bread to fall in the oven. Annette also explains how oven temperature, pan choice, and even natural sweeteners like honey can affect browning. Flavor, Texture, and Structure Matter If your bread tastes flat, crumbles when sliced, or has large air tunnels, there is a reason. Freshly milled whole grain flour improves flavor and nutrition. Proper kneading develops gluten strength. Shaping the dough correctly prevents air pockets. Even letting the bread cool before slicing helps set the structure for better texture. When Bread Causes Digestive Issues Sometimes the issue is not the recipe but digestion. Underbaked bread, eating it too fresh, or suddenly switching to whole grains can cause discomfort. Pairing grains with protein and giving your body time to adjust can help. As your gut adapts to real, freshly milled grains, digestion improves and energy stabilizes. Bake with Confidence Bread making does not have to feel complicated or frustrating. With the right adjustments and a focus on real, whole ingredients, you can enjoy nourishing bread that supports your health and honors God's design for food. == Did this episode bless you? The Health Plan God Designed That Most People Ignore America is facing a health crisis. Obesity, diabetes, heart disease, autoimmune conditions, and chronic illness are affecting millions. But Christians are not exempt. In this episode, Annette challenges the idea that faith and food are separate. She explains why God already gave us a health plan in Scripture and why it is time to return to it. Why Processed Food Is Not God's Design Grocery stores are filled with highly processed foods loaded with chemicals, artificial ingredients, preservatives, seed oils, and hidden sugars. These lab created products were never part of God's original design. Annette shares how following a simple, biblical eating pattern, similar to the Daniel Fast, helped eliminate prescriptions in her own life and brought lasting health changes. Real food supports healing. Processed food feeds disease. The Biblical Blueprint for Health From Genesis to Revelation, Scripture highlights foods created for nourishment and healing. Annette teaches three core principles. Eat the foods God called good. Avoid what harms the body. And follow healthy rhythms like eating at set mealtimes, fasting between meals, and allowing the body to rest overnight. Daniel's example shows how choosing simple, whole foods over rich, processed options leads to strength and clarity. Honor Your Body as God's Temple When we treat our body as the temple of the Holy Spirit, our choices change. Avoiding toxic ingredients, limiting packaged foods, choosing properly raised meats, eating fruits and vegetables, and building meals from whole ingredients create resilience. As gut health improves, the brain functions better, inflammation decreases, blood pressure stabilizes, and energy returns. Let's Make Christians Healthy Again Health is not just personal. It impacts families, churches, and communities. When believers are strong and energized, they are better equipped to serve, worship, and spread the gospel. This episode is a call to action. Choose the foods God designed. Reclaim your vitality. And become part of a movement to make Christians healthy again. == Did this episode bless you? How to Fix Your Gut for Weight Loss, Anxiety, and True Joy Have you ever felt guilty for not feeling happy? In this episode, Annette shares a powerful truth many Christians struggle with: depression and anxiety are real, and they often begin in the gut, not just the brain. After years of emotional eating, stress, and inner unhappiness, she discovered that healing her gut transformed not only her weight, but her mindset, marriage, and spiritual walk. The Gut Brain Connection Most People Ignore Annette explains how inflammation in the gut affects neurotransmitters like serotonin and GABA, directly influencing mood, stress response, and mental clarity. Instead of masking symptoms, she focused on restoring balance through fiber, prebiotics, probiotics, and phytobiotics. When the gut microbiome improves, inflammation decreases and the brain can function the way God designed it to. The Power of Fiber, Probiotics, and Phytobiotics Fiber feeds the good bacteria. Probiotics restore balance. Phytobiotics, including compounds like L theanine and plant polyphenols, support calmness, sleep quality, and stress resilience. Annette shares how specific blends helped reduce neural inflammation, improve cognitive function, and build emotional stability. Healing was not instant, but consistent nourishment created lasting change. From Surviving to Thriving After losing 60 pounds and addressing gut inflammation, Annette experienced deeper joy, resilience, and peace. Her family noticed the difference. Her attitude changed. Her stress tolerance improved. She emphasizes that joy is not just a spiritual concept but also connected to physical health. When the gut heals, the mind clears, and the body responds. Healing the Body to Experience the Joy of the Lord This episode reminds us that Scripture and science are not in conflict. God designed the body with a gut brain connection for a reason. By nourishing the microbiome and aligning our eating with biblical principles, we create the foundation for lasting weight loss, emotional stability, and vibrant health. == Did this episode bless you? Stop Storing Grains Wrong — How to Keep Wheat Berries Fresh for 25+ Years If you are milling your own grain but storing it incorrectly, you could be losing freshness, flavor, nutrition, and even inviting bugs into your pantry. In this episode, Annette breaks down the best ways to store wheat berries and whole grains, from short term kitchen use to long term emergency storage. When stored properly, wheat berries can last decades and still bake beautifully. Short Term and Everyday Grain Storage For daily or weekly bakers, convenience and freshness matter most. Glass jars with tight sealing lids work best for short term storage up to three months. Keep them in a cool, dry cabinet away from heat and humidity. Fresh wheat should smell sweet and nutty. If it smells musty, it has absorbed moisture and should not be used. Bulk and Medium Term Storage If you buy grain in 25 or 50 pound bags, food grade five gallon buckets with tight sealing gamma lids offer strong protection. These buckets guard against light, moisture, and pests. For storage up to a year, this method keeps grains stable and safe. Oxygen absorbers can be added for extra protection but are not always required for shorter periods. Long Term Storage for Years For one to ten years or more, the gold standard is mylar bags inside sealed buckets with oxygen absorbers. This creates a full barrier against oxygen, light, moisture, and bugs. When stored in a cool environment between 45 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit, properly sealed grains can maintain quality for decades. Preventing Bugs and Protecting Freshness Always freeze new grain for 72 hours before storing to kill any hidden eggs. Never store grains in paper or thin plastic long term. Keep the area clean and dry, and consider adding bay leaves as a natural deterrent. Temperature control is critical. Heat dramatically shortens shelf life, while cool storage preserves flavor and nutrition. Stewardship in the Pantry Grains are real food designed by God to nourish and sustain. When you store them wisely, you protect both your investment and your family's health. This episode equips you with simple, practical steps to keep your whole grains fresh, flavorful, and ready to bless your kitchen for years to come. == Did this episode bless you? I Changed One Thing and It Transformed My Health, Marriage, and Mind What if the breakthrough you have been praying for is connected to what is on your plate? In this episode, Annette shares her powerful testimony of struggling with obesity, depression, anxiety, and emotional eating while appearing fine on the outside. Everything changed when she stopped chasing diet trends and returned to the authority of Scripture as her foundation for health. From Diet Culture to Biblical Nutrition After years of trying every popular diet, Annette realized the real issue was not just food but belief. She began studying both nutrition and biblical truth, filtering everything through God's Word. Instead of relying on man made food systems and lab altered products, she focused on the foods God called good in Genesis. That shift healed more than her body. It transformed her thinking, her marriage, and her joy. God's Food Versus Lab Experiments Modern processed foods may look normal, but many are far removed from how God originally designed them. Annette explains why returning to whole, real foods such as freshly milled grains and clean ingredients made a lasting difference. She also shares her conviction about clean and unclean foods, and how aligning her choices with biblical principles removed cravings and restored balance. Healing the Gut, Healing the Life As her gut health improved, so did her mental clarity, emotional stability, and relationships. She emphasizes the powerful connection between what we eat and how we think, feel, and live. When food changed, everything changed. Smiles returned. Energy returned. Peace returned. One Change Can Begin Your Transformation This episode is not about perfection. It is about choosing one step toward obedience and alignment. When you make God's Word your authority for health, even small daily changes can create lasting transformation in your body, mind, and spirit. == Did this episode bless you? The 1 Best Food for Stress — My Anti Stress Soup for Adrenal Support Stress is not just emotional. It affects your hormones, energy, immune system, and even your weight. In this episode, Annette shares a powerful anti stress soup designed to nourish your adrenal glands and help your body recover from chronic stress. If you have been feeling tired, anxious, or stuck in survival mode, this simple recipe may be the reset your body needs. How Stress Impacts Your Adrenal Glands Your adrenal glands play a critical role in hormone balance, especially cortisol and estrogen. When they are overworked, symptoms can show up in surprising ways. Fatigue, weight gain, insomnia, salt and sugar cravings, depression, low immune function, dizziness, cold hands and feet, and mood swings can all be connected to adrenal stress. Many women over 50 are especially vulnerable because their adrenal glands must work harder to support hormone balance. The Anti Stress Soup That Supports Healing This nourishing soup combines fresh parsley, kale, celery, zucchini, green beans, onion, organic chicken broth, and tomato sauce. These whole foods provide minerals, antioxidants, and phytonutrients that help reduce inflammation and support adrenal recovery. Simmered slowly for an hour, this comforting meal is designed to calm the body, restore nutrients, and provide gentle support during stressful seasons. Food, Faith, and Nervous System Reset Beyond nutrition, stress recovery also requires a shift in mindset. Annette encourages creating peaceful mealtimes, playing praise music, and focusing on gratitude. Healing is not only physical. It involves renewing the mind and supporting the heart. This episode reminds us that when we nourish our body with real food and align our thoughts with truth, we experience deeper resilience and the abundant life God designed for us. == Did this episode bless you? Why I Drink 1 Cup of Barley Water Per Day — The Simple, Biblical Kidney Cleanse Barley water may sound old fashioned, but it could be one of the most powerful and affordable health habits you add to your routine. In this episode, Annette explains why she drinks four to six ounces of barley water each morning and how this simple biblical grain supports kidney health, detoxification, and long term wellness. Three Powerful Benefits of Barley Water Barley is rich in antioxidants that help fight inflammation and support the body against chronic disease, including certain cancers. It also plays a protective role in kidney health by helping prevent kidney stones and naturally cleansing the kidneys. Many people are experiencing kidney stress and fatigue today, and barley offers a gentle, food based way to restore balance. Beyond the kidneys, barley water also supports clearer skin, improved stamina, stronger mental clarity, and overall resilience. How to Make Barley Water at Home Annette walks you through the simple process of soaking whole barley overnight, boiling it to extract the nutrients, and straining the liquid to create your daily tonic. The leftover barley can be added to salads, breakfast bowls, or other meals so nothing goes to waste. For added flavor, you can include lemon, cinnamon, a touch of honey, or even a pinch of salt. The key is drinking it first thing in the morning before food to maximize its cleansing benefits. A Return to God's Simple Foods Barley is one of the seven biblical foods mentioned in Deuteronomy 8, and it was chosen with purpose. This episode reminds us that true healing often begins with simple, whole foods God already provided. When you consistently nourish your body with what He called good, you build strength, clarity, and lasting health from the inside out. == Did this episode bless you? I Tested 9 Grains for Freshly Milled Bread — From Worst to Best If your freshly milled bread is turning out dense, heavy, or bland, the problem may not be your mill — it may be your grain. In this episode, Annette ranks nine popular grains from least ideal to best for baking bread and explains how each one affects flavor, texture, gluten strength, and rise. Every grain has its own personality, and knowing how to use them makes all the difference. Understanding Each Grain's Strengths and Weaknesses From gluten-free millet and oats to ancient grains like einkorn, rye, emmer, kamut, and spelt, Annette walks you through what each grain brings to your loaf. Some add sweetness and tenderness. Others bring deep, earthy flavor or strong gluten for a high rise. You'll learn why certain grains work best blended with wheat, which ones can stand alone, and how small percentage changes can dramatically improve your bread's texture and taste. The Best Grains for Strong, Beautiful Loaves Hard red wheat delivers bold flavor and excellent structure, making it a classic artisan choice. Hard white wheat takes the top spot for versatility, mild flavor, and dependable rise, especially for beginners. Annette also shares practical blending tips like pairing spelt with kamut or adding oats for moisture, helping you create bread that is soft, flavorful, and nourishing. Bake with Confidence and Purpose Freshly milled bread is more than a recipe. It is a return to real food the way God designed it. When you choose whole grains in their pure form, you restore nutrition, improve digestion, and bring deeper flavor to your kitchen. This episode gives you the clarity and confidence to choose the right grains, bake with intention, and enjoy bread that truly satisfies. == Did this episode bless you? How to Rewire Your Brain and Increase Neuroplasticity — God's Blueprint for Renewing Your Mind Did you know your thoughts can physically change your brain? In this episode, Annette shares powerful science and biblical truth about neuroplasticity — the brain's ability to rewire itself. When you learn to take every thought captive and renew your mind, you don't just feel different. Your brain actually changes. What Happens in Your Brain When You Capture Your Thoughts Research shows that intentionally redirecting your thoughts thickens areas of the brain responsible for learning, empathy, emotional regulation, and compassion. At the same time, it shrinks areas linked to fear, stress, and anxiety. Neuroscientist Andrew Newberg even discovered measurable brain changes in individuals who practiced centering prayer and disciplined thinking over time. This is experience-dependent neuroplasticity in action — your brain reshapes itself based on what you repeatedly think. Why Your Brain Defaults to Negative Thinking Your brain is wired with a negativity bias. It holds onto criticism like Velcro and lets positive moments slide off like Teflon. It also wanders nearly half the time. But Scripture gives us the solution. When we choose to think on what is true, noble, and good, we retrain our mental pathways. By focusing on gratitude, capturing guilt-driven thoughts, and aligning our minds with God's Word, we weaken old patterns and build stronger, healthier ones. You Can Grow New Brain Cells at Any Age Science now confirms what Scripture has long implied — renewal is possible. Through neurogenesis, you can grow new brain cells in memory centers like the hippocampus. Capturing thoughts, strengthening focus, and practicing intentional thinking increases gray matter, improves self-control, enhances planning ability, and sharpens attention. You are not stuck with the brain you have today. Renew Your Mind, Transform Your Life When you consistently take thoughts captive, you become more comfortable in your own skin. You are no longer driven by fear, anger, or guilt. Instead, you step into clarity, confidence, and peace. This episode reveals how connecting biblical truth with neuroscience creates breakthrough — spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Your transformation begins with a single thought. == Did this episode bless you? I Fixed My Muffins With These Grains — Best Flours for Muffins, Biscuits, and Pancakes If your muffins turn out dense or your pancakes taste flat, it might not be your recipe — it's your flour. In this episode, Annette reveals the best grains for soft, tender baked goods and which ones to avoid if you want light, flavorful results. You'll learn how choosing the right flour can completely change your baking and your health. The Secret to Light and Tender Bakes Annette explains how high-protein bread flours create structure, while low-gluten grains make soft, melt-in-your-mouth textures. She ranks seven top grains — from hard red wheat to spelt, einkorn, emmer, rye, and soft white wheat — and shares which combinations give perfect results for muffins, cookies, biscuits, and pancakes. Why Freshly Milled Grains Matter Freshly milled grains retain all the natural oils, vitamins, and minerals that store-bought flour loses. Annette shows how this simple change adds flavor, nutrition, and digestibility to every bake. You'll also hear how ancient grains like spelt, emmer, and einkorn bring warmth, sweetness, and better digestion — while soft white wheat delivers unbeatable tenderness. Perfect Blends for Every Bake For the best muffins, Annette suggests combining soft white wheat with spelt or einkorn. For biscuits, 100% soft white wheat gives the perfect flaky texture. And for cookies or pancakes, einkorn adds buttery flavor with a light golden finish. These small adjustments make your baked goods not only delicious but easier to digest and more nourishing for your family. Bake the Way God Designed When you return to real, whole grains as God created them, you bring both health and joy back to the kitchen. This episode reminds us that the best food isn't about shortcuts — it's about using the ingredients God made to bless your home with flavor, wellness, and love. == Did this episode bless you?
