📅 Schedule Your Practice Growth Strategy Review ⚙️ Restart your practice in 7 days ⬇️⬇️⬇️ Pamela Brownlee, DO — a young, pretty, and smart cosmetic surgeon who's absolutely crushing it with branding, marketing, and patient attraction. Hello, and welcome to "Beauty and the Biz," where we'll discuss the business and marketing side of plastic surgery. As always, I'm your host, Catherine Maley, author of "Your Aesthetic Practice – What Your Patients Are Saying." and consultant to plastic surgeons, helping them get more patients and more profits. Young, Pretty, Smart and Crushing it In this episode of "Beauty and the Biz," I interviewed Dr. Pamela Brownlee. Specifically, she is a board-certified plastic surgeon in Frisco, Texas. Additionally, she opened her practice just one year ago. Ultimately, she named it Bombshelled Aesthetics! Clearly, Dr. Brownlee is a mix of looks, style, fashion and fun. However, we all know looks can be deceiving. Consequently, she is also smart, driven and strategic. In our conversation, "Young, Pretty, Smart and Crushing It" describes her journey perfectly. Furthermore, here is what we talked about: Why patient trust builds long-term success. The balance between being a surgeon and a business owner. Why she has a skincare line, Amazon store and 85,000 Instagram followers. The mindset needed to grow a sustainable practice. Most importantly, one of the biggest takeaways was her focus on patient relationships. Therefore, this strategy drives loyalty, referrals and practice growth. P.S. Sadly, most practices I review unknowingly lose 20% to 40% of potential revenue due to small gaps. If you would like me to identify these gaps, you can schedule a confidential Practice Growth Review with me. Enjoy! 📅 Schedule Your Practice Growth Strategy Review ⚙️ Restart your practice in 7 days ⬇️⬇️⬇️ Doctor Francisco Gómez Bravo shares his experiences in academia vs. the freedoms found in aesthetic private practice. Academia vs. Aesthetic Freedom This week's "Beauty and the Biz" Podcast features Dr. Francisco Bravo. Specifically, he is a board-certified plastic surgeon in Madrid. Notably, his path to solo success was not a straight line. On the "Beauty and the Biz" Podcast, Dr. Bravo shares how he built the foundation for a thriving aesthetic practice through years of training and strategic decisions. First, he trained in Barcelona, London, Paris, Rome, and NYU. Next, he built credibility in reconstructive microsurgery. Meanwhile, he balanced university medicine with private practice for 10 years. Eventually, he made the decision many surgeons struggle with. Ultimately, he left academic security. Instead, he went all-in on an aesthetic solo practice. In this episode of the "Beauty and the Biz" Podcast, we discuss: First, how to know when you have enough "momentum" to go solo Next, why impatience is the biggest mistake young surgeons make Then, the financial and emotional risk of investing in a high-end location Additionally, why owning your own surgical facility is a game changer Finally, how instrumental his wife has been in building the practice while raising four kids One of my favorite lines from him on the "Beauty and the Biz" Podcast: " You have to choose two: university, private practice, or family. But you can't do all three." Overall, this episode of the "Beauty and the Biz" Podcast offers a thoughtful and honest look at what it really takes to build a boutique aesthetic practice the right way. Therefore, if you're quietly wondering whether it's time to narrow your focus or elevate your brand, this "Beauty and the Biz" Podcast episode will interest you. P.S. Obviously, momentum doesn't happen by accident. Therefore, if you're ready to elevate your positioning, patient experience, and profitability, book a Practice Growth Review with me. Indeed, we'll identify exactly where you're leaving opportunity on the table — and what to do about it. Enjoy! 📅 Schedule Your Practice Growth Strategy Review ⚙️ Restart your practice in 7 days ⬇️⬇️⬇️ Ritu Chopra, MD, explains how premium pricing isn't luck, but it's positioning oneself to become the authority in their field. Premium Pricing Isn't Luck. It's Positioning. Today, premium pricing in plastic surgery isn't luck. Instead, it's positioning. In this episode of "Beauty and the Biz," we explain how premium positioning allows surgeons to command higher fees with confidence. As a result, consistency follows clarity. Specifically, Ritu Chopra, MD, is a Beverly Hills board-certified plastic surgeon. Notably, he built his reputation through extreme specialization in facial surgery. In particular, his signature DEFINE facelift became the focal point of his brand. Because of that focus, technical refinement, and strategic positioning, his facelift procedures can reach six figures. Therefore, that level of premium pricing is not accidental. Rather, it is intentional. Early in his career, Dr. Chopra made a strategic move. At that point, he joined a practice led by a nationally recognized plastic surgeon. Importantly, that surgeon was a longtime cast member of "The Doctors." As a result, proximity elevated his visibility. In turn, it strengthened his credibility. Eventually, it earned him his own role on the show. In "Premium Pricing Isn't Luck. It's Positioning.," we also discuss collaboration. Instead of competing, Dr. Chopra chose to collaborate. Consequently, he participates in a private circle of elite facial plastic surgeons. Together, they refine techniques and raise standards. Ultimately, high-level surgeons collaborate. By contrast, they do not compete on price. If you want to understand how specialization, proximity, and authority drive premium pricing, then "Premium Pricing Isn't Luck. It's Positioning." delivers practical insight you can apply immediately. PS: Indeed, not every practice needs more marketing. Instead, some practices need sharper positioning. If you want a direct evaluation of your growth gaps, pricing leverage, and retention systems, then request a private Practice Growth Review. Enjoy! 📅 Schedule Your Practice Growth Strategy Review ⚙️ Restart your practice in 7 days ⬇️⬇️⬇️ Catherine Maley, MBA, with nearly 30 years in helping cosmetic surgeons and their staff, explains how smart practices grow during uncertain times. How Smart Practices Grow During Uncertain Times Currently, something subtle is happening in aesthetic practices. Specifically, it isn't dramatic. Instead, it is quieter than that. Increasingly, consultations are taking longer. Meanwhile, patients are asking more questions. Consequently, decisions are slowing down. Similarly, negotiations are becoming sharper. Even so, affluent patients — those who clearly have the money — are hesitating. Importantly, this hesitation isn't about affordability. Rather, uncertainty delays commitment. Unfortunately, this is where many practices make a mistake. Typically, when they sense hesitation, they tighten operations. For example, they cut marketing. Additionally, they freeze hiring. Likewise, they reduce training. Eventually, they negotiate fees. As a result, profit margins erode. In reality, expense cutting doesn't create growth. Instead, it usually slows decline. By contrast, resilient practices take a different approach. Rather than asking, "Where can we cut?" they ask, "Where are we underperforming?" Often, the answers are operational. For instance, missed calls reduce opportunity. Similarly, lost consult conversions weaken revenue. Likewise, weak follow-up limits growth. Additionally, dormant past patients represent untapped value. In uncertain markets, you don't need 30% growth. Instead, you often need about 10% tighter execution. Therefore, clarity becomes a competitive advantage. In this week's podcast, "How Smart Practices Grow During Uncertain Times," I explain: Specifically, why patients negotiate harder during uncertain markets Additionally, why cutting expenses rarely produces real profit growth Furthermore, where practices often underperform without realizing it Finally, why strong systems outperform aggressive discounting Ultimately, uncertainty isn't a threat. Instead, it acts as a filter. Consequently, weak systems struggle. Meanwhile, strong systems remain steady. In the end, profit growth doesn't come from panic. Rather, it comes from clarity. Indeed, if you'd like an objective look at where your revenues may be underperforming — without adding more ads, more staff, or more chaos — request a private Practice Growth Review. Sometimes, one operational adjustment can influence the entire year. Enjoy! As always, I'm your host, Catherine Maley, author of "Your Aesthetic Practice – What Your Patients Are Saying." and consultant to plastic surgeons, helping them get more patients and more profits. Built a Multi-Location Practice Without Losing Control Specifically, "Built a Multi-Location Practice Without Losing Control" podcast explains how practices grow without losing stability or profitability. Importantly, in this "Beauty and the Biz" episode, Dr. Johnny Franco shares how early infrastructure helped him scale safely. Additionally, he is a board-certified plastic surgeon in Austin, Texas. Moreover, he founded Austin Plastic Surgeon. Furthermore, he serves as clinical faculty at UT Dell Medical School. Indeed, this conversation focuses on real-world growth strategy rather than theory. Specifically, Dr. Franco discusses what happens inside expanding practices. Likewise, he explains how leadership decisions affect long-term control. Additionally, key discussion points include: Why adding locations is often harder than adding providers How missing SOPs create financial confusion and accountability gaps Why many practices delay building leadership and operations support How compensation structures influence ownership and culture The operational risk when everything funnels through one surgeon Importantly, one insight is simple. Namely, infrastructure works best when built early. Consequently, waiting often increases cost. Similarly, waiting usually increases complexity and stress. Overall, this episode reflects real operational experience. Specifically, it comes from a multi-location practice. Likewise, the practice includes multiple surgeons and diverse service lines. P.S. 📅 Schedule Your Practice Growth Strategy Review ⚙️ Restart your practice in 7 days ⬇️⬇️⬇️ Gregory D. Lewen, MD, played the long game most surgeons don't play to organically transition from reconstruction to cosmetic surgery. Indeed, welcome to "Beauty and the Biz," where we'll discuss the business and marketing side of plastic surgery. As always, I'm your host, Catherine Maley, author of "Your Aesthetic Practice – What Your Patients Are Saying." and consultant to plastic surgeons, helping them get more patients and more profits. The Long Game Most Surgeons Don't Play Overall, the quiet decisions that lead to real leverage over time. Typically, most surgeons don't wake up and suddenly decide to go solo. Instead, the shift usually happens gradually. Often, it follows years of watching how different systems actually work. In this week's "Beauty and the Biz" episode, I spoke with Dr. Gregory Lewen. Specifically, he is a board-certified oculoplastic surgeon in Aventura, Florida. Notably, he followed a deliberate path into private practice. Before opening his own office, Dr. Lewen trained in two distinct environments: First, a university setting focused on functional care Second, a private practice centered on cash medicine Consequently, that dual exposure shaped his strategy. Rather than chase volume or quick wins, he built a boutique, concierge-style practice. Instead, the foundation includes: Specifically, careful business planning Additionally, strategic location selection in a high-end market Gradually, a move away from insurance Consistently, a focus on service and trust Notably, one insight stood out: "Something changes when you put your ideas on paper. It becomes real — and there's no turning back." Additionally, we discuss: Importantly, why independence often matters more than speed Likewise, how early decisions protect long-term leverage Finally, the risks of growing too quickly Overall, this is a practical conversation. Ultimately, it focuses on building a sustainable surgical practice. P.S. Overall, growth rarely comes from doing more. Instead, it often comes from refining what already works. Additionally, if you'd like help identifying that leverage in your practice, you can request a Practice Growth Review here. Enjoy! 📅 Schedule Your Practice Growth Strategy Review ⚙️ Restart your practice in 7 days ⬇️⬇️⬇️ Jennifer Murdock, MD, shares her cosmetic surgery growth strategy which involved moonlighting for other practices. Moonlighting as a Growth Strategy Why this surgeon learned how to build before momentum kicked in First, the "Moonlighting as a growth strategy" podcast explores what it really takes to build a sustainable aesthetic practice before momentum arrives. In this episode of "Beauty and the Biz," I sit down with Dr. Jennifer Murdock. As a board-certified facial plastic surgeon in Miami, she chose a deliberate and patient approach to growth. Notably, Dr. Murdock openly shares a reality many young surgeons experience but rarely discuss. Early in her career, she moonlighted at other practices. At the same time, this approach allowed her to maintain financial stability. Meanwhile, she slowly built her own reputation. Additionally, she developed a referral base and patient trust in one of the most competitive aesthetic markets in the country. Rather than a fallback, moonlighting became a strategic growth strategy. During the conversation, we discuss what that phase actually looked like. Importantly, we also explore why it mattered. In this episode, you'll hear: How she evaluated risk vs. stability early on Why ego can sabotage long-term practice ownership The mindset shift required when you're building before you're "busy" How patience, consistency, and standards compound over time Overall, this is a practical and honest conversation about practice building. Ultimately, it's the kind surgeons wish they had heard earlier in their careers. If you're navigating growth, uncertainty, or the uncomfortable in-between phase, this episode will resonate deeply. 👉 Now, listen to "Moonlighting as a growth strategy" and learn the long game that actually works. P.S. Importantly, most surgeons quit or overextend during this stage. Here, Dr. Murdock explains how to stay solvent, grounded, and focused while building something that lasts. P.S. Now is the best time to get an objective second set of eyes on how your practice is really operating.Especially then, this matters before habits harden and the year fills up. What Changes When You Stop Doing Everything Today, the "Beauty and the Biz" podcast features Dr. Philip Solomon. Specifically, he is a facial plastic surgeon in Toronto with more than 25 years in practice. Additionally, he is the founder of the Solomon Nasal & Facial Plastic Surgery Center. Over time, Dr. Solomon has worked in academic medicine. Likewise, he has held hospital leadership roles. Further, he has owned and operated a private practice. Eventually, he made a deliberate shift to a fully aesthetic-focused model. As a result, that long-view perspective makes this episode of "Beauty and the Biz" especially valuable. In this episode, we talk candidly about the business realities surgeons face as their practices mature. More importantly, we focus on what happens when growth increases complexity instead of leverage. During the conversation, we cover several critical topics. First, we explore why doing "a little of everything" eventually becomes a liability. Next, we discuss the decision to narrow focus and what that change unlocked. Additionally, Dr. Solomon shares his experience with owning a surgical facility versus relying on a hospital. At the same time, he explains staffing challenges few surgeons are prepared for. Finally, we examine why being busy can actually increase operational risk. Throughout the episode, Dr. Solomon is refreshingly honest about what he would do differently. In particular, he reflects on staying too broad for too long. Ultimately, he explains why focus becomes a strategic advantage rather than a limitation. Overall, this episode of the "Beauty and the Biz" podcast is a thoughtful conversation for surgeons who feel pulled in too many directions. Especially, it is relevant for those questioning how to simplify their practice. Importantly, momentum does not have to be lost. Ultimately, maturity in practice isn't about adding more. Instead, it's about knowing what to let go. P.S. Why "bigger" isn't always better in private practice Today's "Beauty and the Biz" podcast features Dr. Anthony Youn, a board-certified plastic surgeon, best-selling author, and nationally recognized expert on aging and longevity. For more than 20 years, Dr. Youn has built a successful private practice. However, his story stands out not because of rapid expansion, but because of restraint. In this episode of "Beauty and the Biz," we talk candidly about how to build a profitable, ethical, and sustainable practice and how he remained being 1.5 years booked out, even after his partner left his practice. Throughout the conversation, Dr. Youn explains the decisions that shaped his long-term stability. Likewise, he explains how those decisions protected his control. You'll hear: First, why he chose solo private practice instead of joining a larger group Next, the real trade-offs of not owning an in-office OR Then, how he approaches staffing, loyalty, and workplace culture Finally, why long waitlists aren't always a sign of healthy growth Along the way, Dr. Youn shares lessons many surgeons only learn the hard way. For example, he discusses costly mistakes with expensive devices. Additionally, he explains staffing realities that are rarely discussed openly. Ultimately, this episode of "Beauty and the Biz" is especially valuable for surgeons who want clarity. Moreover, it is valuable for those who want stability and longevity. Conversely, it is not for those chasing operational chaos. In the end, growth doesn't always mean expansion. Sometimes, growth means knowing exactly what not to build. P.S. As always, I'm your host, Catherine Maley, author of "Your Aesthetic Practice – What Your Patients Are Saying." and consultant to plastic surgeons, helping them get more patients and more profits. The Real Cost of "Playing It Safe" in Private Practice Lessons from building a practice with no safety net In "The Real Cost of 'Playing It Safe' in Private Practice" podcast, I sit down with Dr. Ramsen Azizi. Specifically, he is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder of RAM Plastic Surgery in Chicago. Before entering medicine, Dr. Azizi spent more than two decades as a professional music producer. As a result, that creative and independent background shaped how he approached private practice. From the beginning, it influenced how he made decisions and assessed risk. As a result, this episode explores a side of private practice growth most surgeons are not prepared for. More importantly, it focuses on the real trade-offs between safety and autonomy. Specifically in this conversation, you'll learn: Why starting private practice immediately forced better decisions How keeping overhead painfully low early on created long-term freedom What surgeons underestimate about building their own surgical facility Why control of your OR, schedule, and environment changes everything Throughout "The Real Cost of 'Playing It Safe' in Private Practice," Dr. Azizi shares candid lessons from taking financial risk. Additionally, he discusses navigating volatile growth cycles. Ultimately, he explains why he chose autonomy over perceived security. Importantly, this is not a "do this one tactic" episode. Instead, it offers a grounded look at what it takes to build something durable. More broadly, it shows why private practice success is less about perfection and more about resilience. If you've ever thought, "There has to be a better way than this," this episode will challenge how you think about control. At the same time, it may change how you view risk and long-term freedom. How One Surgeon Thinks Differently About Growth Today, the "Beauty and the Biz" podcast features Dr. Weniger. Notably, he is a board-certified plastic surgeon with an MBA. Currently, he practices in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Instead of chasing trends, Dr. Weniger approaches growth differently. Rather than reacting to industry noise, he focuses on long-term thinking. More importantly, he emphasizes deliberate and measured decision-making. Additionally, he challenges assumptions that often go unquestioned. Specifically, he examines choices many surgeons never slow down enough to consider. In this episode, the conversation moves beyond tactics. Instead, it centers on how experienced surgeons think. Ultimately, the focus is on building a practice designed to last. Throughout the discussion, several mindset shifts emerge. Specifically, the episode explains why following the crowd often increases risk rather than reducing it. Likewise, it shows how leadership appears in everyday decisions rather than formal titles. Similarly, it highlights why clarity consistently beats complexity in practice management. Finally, it reveals how surgeons can stay grounded when the industry feels chaotic. As a result, this episode speaks to surgeons who are already successful. In particular, it resonates with those seeking greater confidence and calm about what comes next. If pressure to adopt misaligned systems has ever felt familiar, this episode of "Beauty and the Biz" will resonate. PS: Ultimately, the best practices are not louder. Instead, they are clearer. Consequently, this episode reinforces why leadership begins with how you think rather than what you copy. In short, schedule a strategy call to gain unbiased clarity around your practice growth. 📅 Schedule Your Practice Growth Strategy Review ⚙️ Restart your practice in 7 days ⬇️⬇️⬇️ Catherine Maley, MBA talks about a much smarter way to think about growth in 2026 for your cosmetic practice. A Smarter Way to Think About Growth in 2026 — A new year perspective on what to stop tolerating — and what to fix now. Happy New Year! Firstly, most surgeons start the year thinking about what they want more of in 2026: More consults More booked surgery More predictability Less chaos Secondly, that focus is normal. However, the latest "Beauty and the Biz" podcast takes a different approach. Moreover, it is inspired by Charlie Munger, Warren Buffett's longtime partner, and one of the most quietly effective thinkers of our time. Interestingly, most people don't realize Munger was the strategic mind behind the scenes. Consequently, his thinking profoundly influenced Buffett and Berkshire Hathaway's extraordinary success. For example, one of Munger's simple principles is: "Invert. Always invert." Instead, instead of asking, "What should I add?" ask this question: "What is quietly holding me back? How do I stop it?" Additionally, in this "Beauty and the Biz" episode, we explore how this approach applies directly to cosmetic practices. Specifically, it is relevant for lead conversion. Importantly, many practices don't fail because of talent, marketing, or effort. Rather, they struggle because they tolerate: First, accepting inconsistent revenues as normal Second, leads being "handled" but not converted Third, inconsistent follow-up processes Fourth, good staff drifting without feedback Furthermore, a common — and costly — example is the patient coordinator role. Notably, conversion is rarely intuitive. Also, it is rarely trained or managed properly. Consequently, left alone, even good coordinators drift. Instead, with structure, they thrive. In fact, in the podcast, you'll learn: First, why "being nice" isn't enough to convert cosmetic consults Second, how uncertainty — not price — kills decisions Third, what happens when coordinators are trained and held accountable Fourth, why fixing a few silent breakdowns often does more than adding new strategies Finally, if you're planning for a smoother, more predictable 2026, this "Beauty and the Biz" episode is a conversation worth listening to. Moreover, enrollment in the "Converting Academy" closes this week! Additionally, when you enroll by then, you receive three high-value bonuses. These include coordinator compensation plans, follow-up frameworks, and the hiring blueprint — all at no extra cost. Ultimately, if improving conversion consistency is on your "Fix '26" list, join the "Converting Academy" now. Enjoy! 📅 Schedule Your Practice Growth Strategy Review ⚙️ Restart your practice in 7 days ⬇️⬇️⬇️ Catherine Maley, MBA, author and renowned cosmetic practice business coach, explains why converting consults feels harder now. Why Converting Consults Feels Harder Now Across cosmetic practices nationwide, one pattern keeps showing up. Instead, surgeons are not struggling because they lack leads. Rather, they are struggling because patients hesitate longer. Consequently, decisions are delayed. Ultimately, patients quietly fall out of the pipeline. Meanwhile, most practices misdiagnose the problem. Often, they assume it is pricing. Alternatively, they blame competition. Sometimes, they point to marketing changes. Frequently, they cite "today's patient." Afterward, after 25 years of training hundreds of patient coordinators, the cause is clear. Additionally, I have reviewed real conversion data. Importantly, what is breaking conversions today is not clinical skill. Likewise, it is not lead volume. Instead, it is the emotional gap inside the consultation process. Fundamentally, cosmetic patients decide emotionally first. Then, they justify logically later. When, when no one bridges that emotional gap, hesitation appears. Typically, it sounds like, "I need to think about it." That's why that is exactly what I unpack in my newest "Beauty and the Biz" podcast episode, "Why converting consults feels harder now." Specifically, in this episode, I explain: First, why cosmetic conversions feel harder than they used to Next, how the patient coordinator role has quietly changed Additionally, the most common blind spots in modern consultations Then, why even good coordinators still miss bookings Finally, what high-performing practices are doing differently heading into 2026 In short, if you are seeing schedule inconsistency, this will resonate. Likewise, if follow-through feels weak, it will land. Similarly, if patients need more certainty than they used to, this episode will feel familiar. P.S. Most patient coordinators have never been professionally trained to guide emotional decisions with confidence. Therefore, that gap is exactly why I created The Converting Academy. 2026 enrollment with extra bonuses is now open. Enjoy! How 2 Young Surgeons Built Silicon Valley Practice Specifically, this week, "Beauty and the Biz" features Dr. Dominick Gadaleta. Additionally, he is a board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and co-founder of OG Aesthetics in Menlo Park, California. Then, why choosing a modest first location preserved flexibility and cash flow. Next, the biggest challenges in private practice, including hiring, culture, and people management. Finally, why learning to say "no" to red-flag patients is essential for long-term success. Furthermore, this honest conversation reveals the behind-the-scenes challenges young surgeons face. Consequently, don't miss this episode of "Beauty and the Biz." As always, I'm your host, Catherine Maley, author of "Your Aesthetic Practice – What Your Patients Are Saying." and consultant to plastic surgeons, helping them get more patients and more profits. From Struggling to Booked Out in Beverly Hills Indeed, some surgeons build a practice. However, a few build a brand. Then, you meet someone who builds both. And, they do it by working differently from day one. This week's episode on "From Struggling to Booked Out in Beverly Hills" on "Beauty and the Biz," I interviewed Dr. Justin Yovino. Additionally, he is a board-certified plastic surgeon. Moreover, he is the founder of Ideal Face & Body in Beverly Hills. However, his path was anything but traditional. In fact, his early career looked nothing like his current success. Beforehand, before becoming known for "awake surgery," natural fat transfer and meticulous liposuction results, Dr. Yovino was: First, sharing office space with an older surgeon Second, taking ER recon and insurance cases to survive financially Third, being paid $200 for complex procedures Fourth, learning slowly, one case at a time Fifth, saying yes when others said no Eventually, those choices paid off. Ultimately, they positioned him to become one of the most in-demand surgeons in Beverly Hills. In this episode of "From Struggling to Booked Out in Beverly Hills," he explains: First, the turning point that changed everything Second, how he built a niche with awake surgery Third, how Lifestyle Lift and AirSculpt helped grow his brand Fourth, what he would do differently if starting today Fifth, how he and his anesthesiologist wife built a "dual-engine" practice Sixth, why hiring associates failed — and what he learned Finally, Dr. Yovino reveals the one business decision he nearly skipped. Consequently, that decision became the best move of his career. Therefore, don't miss this episode. PS: Indeed, this is your last chance to complete the Cosmetic Practice Accelerator Scorecard. Ultimately, most surgeons uncover revenue leaks they never knew existed. Enjoy! Carving Out a Referral Facelift Practice Specifically, this week's episode of "Beauty and the Biz" highlights Carving out a Referral Facelift Practice with Dr. Raymond Lee. Additionally, he is a facial plastic surgeon in ultra-competitive Newport Beach. Furthermore, he explains how he built one of the most efficient and referral-driven facelift practices in Southern California. Initially, Dr. Lee did not start with industry connections, a known brand or an established patient base. Instead, he was told it would be "impossible" for a facial plastic surgeon to stand out in such a saturated region. Nevertheless, he went on to: Ultimately perform more than 3,000 facelifts using local or IV sedation Gradually sublease a single room, then expand into three full suites and eventually his own ASC Consistently build a loyal team that stays with him for four to six years or more Successfully create a recognizable brand ("Faceology MD") and secure both the trademark and the domain Primarily grow through word-of-mouth referrals and surgical excellence rather than paid ads Next, here is some of what we covered in Carving out a Referral Facelift Practice: First, he discusses his unconventional start at Lifestyle Lift and how it shaped his speed, volume and technique Second, he explains how he used subleasing to enter Newport Beach at a manageable cost Third, he shares his key lessons in hiring, delegation and retaining long-term staff Finally, he outlines why he prefers IV sedation for facelifts and how that choice improves patient satisfaction Consequently, if you want a practical blueprint for succeeding in a crowded market, this episode delivers. Moreover, it shows how to grow without discounts, gimmicks or hype. Ultimately, it is especially useful if you are expanding, hiring or building a lasting brand.
