Danny and Nic Nic walk us through another week in parkrunworld. There's The King at Sandringham parkrun, they fondly remember Hannah Corne, Nic Nic keeps pace at Bramley and Danny captures a moment from Kingston parkrun.
Back once again with the Chessy Trio: Danny, Bev and Nigel. This week it's all about damp squids again, the RDF* again, emails about kindness, mapped pizza runs, tarts, records, smoothly run events and a super profile of the latest Essex event: ARU Writtle parkrun near Chelmsford.
Nic Nic's back with Danny for the first time in a while. They chat virtual assistants, the 'Real Double Funnel', have a smidge of Things, make a point about Holme Pierrepont parkrun, Nic Nic recaps her break and gives a 'prasen' to Market Rasen Racecourse parkrun whilst Danny profiles London's latest event, Greenwich Peninsula parkrun.
We're back and kicking off 2026, in mid-January. Bev, Nigel and Danny bring us chat, emails, stories, news (both good and sensationalist), Things and recaps from parkrunworld during the Christmas break.
It's a little different this one! Danny, Surrogate Mum Bev and Chessington Unity friend Leanne pop to Poland to participate at Kraków parkrun on Boxing Day and Puszcza Niepołomicka parkrun the day after. There's also the small matter of being part of a big attendance at the Christmas Day event at Bushy parkrun.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all! Christmas jokes, shield toads, nearly 102-year old Colin Thorne did a Thing, the 5k app starts its updates, now it's DrPSHCBEFRSA, we recap our year, Nicola went to see the Bramley Family and Danny was enamoured by Whitecliffe Lake parkrun in Kent.
It's Danny with Bev and Nigel again (and some cats). It's a simple one this week, with Met Office chat, the equalising of volunteering, the 'officialdom' of challenges, good news from Osterley parkrun, Nigel added one more to his Lon-Done list, whilst Danny and Bev just stayed close to home.
Yawn. And big stretch. You butter believe there's more discussion about the 5k app being official, theories about volunteering changes and a small chat about 'that' inaugural. Plus Nicola went to Woodlands parkrun, Scarborough and Danny went to Downs Link parkrun, Shoreham-by-Sea.
'Ello! Happy Thanksgiving! It's a quickie this week. Nic Nic visited East Holmes Field parkrun in Ilkley, West York-shire and Danny diverts to Plan B at Oxford parkrun.
Exorbitant orbs! Danny puts the Chess in Chessington. York becomes one parkrun fewer. 'That' Facebook group is mothballed. Dame Kelly's grading. Nicola does a spot of heavy breathing and Danny goes back to his very origins alongside his marshalling parents at Stanborough parkrun Lakes in Welwyn Garden City.
How Do You Do, Fellow Kids? This week's episode is popping off! There's a Yesvember dichotomy, San Francisco says welcome back to parkrun, there's maybe flies on wood and seals in waterfalls, concerns on changes to parkrun culture, and Danny learns all about Newbury with his visit to Victoria Park parkrun.
It's stacked and packed this week! It's Yesvember. We prove a husband wrong. We learn about Allerheiligen. There's Celebrity Traitors and The Great British Bake Off. There's the new Parkrace app. There's Baby Wonky Bears. Tiny Steve makes tiny history. Nicola wore Hallowe'en fancy dress. And 'King' Danny had a Coronation Park parkrun-filled morning.
An opening nichetacular niche with a little parkrun history brought to you by Danny and joined by Bev and Nigel once again whilst Nicola is away. There's the best bit of community at Hagley parkrun in Christchurch NZ, Bev ambassadors for 5k Your Way at Kingston parkrun plus Danny and Nigel pop to Storeys Field reborn at Brook Leys parkrun in Cambridge.
There's marshal marshmallows, Danny goes honey nuts, a very niche once in a parkrun lifetime opportunity, we say hello to a new listener, a tactical Christmas wish, Nicola went west side to Moss Side at Alexandra parkrun in Manchester and Danny did 10-years straight at Riddlesdown parkrun in Croydon.
No fireworks, just good ol' parkrun chat. Should every 50-milestones be a Thing? Have you seen Match of the Day? Are you a hugger or a handshaker? Plus both Nicola and Danny are too tired to tour far far away (Nic Nic at Lister Park parkrun parkrun and Danny at Queen Elizabeth parkrun parkrun). Sacreligious, we know.
Guten Tag! It's a German Unity Day special once again, where Danny went to the awesome Allerpark parkrun in Wolfsburg and the georgous Georgengarten parkrun in Hannover. There's naughty candidates, a permanent parkrun CEO announcement, Storm Amy impacts and much more in this week's episode. Not forgetting Nicola did a non-Thing at Lister Park, Bradford for her 750th parkrun.
Early birds Nicola and Danny mostly stick to parkrun, with AI, wildlife attacks, Elvis festivals at Porthcawl parkrun, memory lane trips and parkrun Australia's main sponsor Medibank's number one tourist suggestion as just some of the topics. There's also some last minute 5k app and API access updates.
Nicola and Danny give some feminine cl-apps about the 5k app becoming parkrun official. Danny takes Jem up the Arsenal, there's a new **** blanket (aka dry robe), an intense mintense suspense story, and they both stayed local 'cause life.
Danny is back with Bev, Dolly and Nigel once more. There's geneology, accidental absences, first-timer introductions, the parkrun primary initiative, socks, Things, reluctant cancellations and Danny popped down toward the New Forest for Fordingbridge Recreation Ground parkrun and forgot the bridge.
Dolly or Bev? It's Bev! In fact both are standing in for Nic Nic this week. There's also an additional live audience of one. Danny expands on his thoughts about the media's superlative hooks and the precedent setting. We say farewell to Co-op, talk Joe Wicks at Town Moor parkrun, chat about the junior parkrun survey 2025, say hi to the new Storeys Field parkrun and recap the perfect day at Durlston Country Park parkrun.
