She trusted God would provide for her family and fed the prophet. This session will stress that God did what He said and continued to provide flour and oil for the woman. God can be trusted.

Hannah prayed for a son. Eli told her that God heard and would answer. This session will emphasize to kids that God always hears our prayers. We can stress that even though He always hears, God does not always answer in the ways we would like Him to do. God’s ways are always right and His answers (yes, no, or wait) are always right, too.
Ruth showed love by staying with Naomi and by gathering grain for their food. This session will help kids understand that choosing to help others is a way to show love for God.

Many kids will know this story, but it is always so fascinating to hear about Jesus walking on water. This session will lead kids to know that Jesus (fully human) was also fully God, able to do amazing things because He is divine. We can help kids put themselves in disciples' place, seeing the amazing things and realizing the divinity of Jesus.

Jesus stopped a storm. This session will help kids grow in their understanding of the powerful things that Jesus did and that He did these things because He is God’s Son.
Jesus has the power over sickness and can heal people. He still heals people today. This session is recognizing Jesus' power over sickness.
Kids: Foreign astrologers recognized a significant birth with the appearance of a star. This session will help kids understand that these men honored Jesus through their gifts and their worship. People worship Jesus as Messiah and Savior today. Preschool: This session will focus on Joseph taking Mary and Jesus to Egypt and then the return to Nazareth. God protected Jesus so He could grow and fulfill God's plan. This session will focus on the fact that God's plan cannot be stopped.
This session will lead kids to focus on the facts of the Christmas story, learning that Jesus’ birth is part of God’s plan to send a Savior.

This session will focus on the praise that Elizabeth gave when Mary greeted her and on the praise that Mary gave to God. The birth of Jesus, God’s Son and the Savior, causes people to praise and worship God today.
God promised that the Savior would be born. The angels came to bring the good news to Mary and Joseph. The angel said that Mary would give birth to a Son, and His name would be Jesus. This session will emphasize that God planned for Jesus to be born.
Kids: God had a plan to save sinners from the punishment for sin. Through the prophet Isaiah, God communicated His plan—to send a servant, a Savior, who would take the punishment for sin. We can lead kids to understand that God loves people and promised to send a Savior! We can have forgiveness of sin and eternal life through Jesus. In the Nazareth synagogue, Jesus read from the prophet Isaiah. He told the people that the prophet’s words were fulfilled in Him. This session will emphasize that Jesus taught that He is the Messiah that was promised in the Old Testament.
This session will emphasize that the Bible tells about God’s plan to send Jesus to be the Savior. We can help kids understand that the prophets told about Jesus’ birth hundreds of years before Jesus came. God planned to send the Messiah, His Son, and told that the special child would be born. The prophets wrote this message, and people waited for the Messiah.
This session will emphasize that God’s words are always true and right. We can have hope because the truths in the Bible will never change. God always does what He says He will do! The Bible can be trusted. Hope is knowing that God keeps His promises! Hope in God is waiting for something that is certain. Babies-2s: This session will teach the little ones about prayer. They will learn that the Bible teaches about praying to God.
