This time, keep your word to your self, start small, don’t overwhelm yourself but keep your promises & u promise you,...
It’s the last 60 days of the year and there’s always an enthusiasm towards the new year cause it gives us a sense of hope that we are given another chance at things we wish to accomplish but if we’ve tried many times and failed, let this time be different and let’s try a different approach where we fix the root and build a solid foundation on which we can easily build sustainable routines and habits that will take us effortlessly towards our goals! In the coming few weeks I’ll be sharing some...
Over the last few years, I have set many goals for myself and built systems because after repeated failures I realised things that I could do and things that I could not personally do but which were needed to achieve those goals. This is why I had to build systems to make sure I ended up following the plan with ease and the friction points were eliminated! In today's journal, I am noting an important point for myself that I am not a victim of my life. I am only suffering my own choices, and now what matters is if I can rectify it and accept it. There’s something I’ve realised after years of working on myself, my self confidence and self belief increases every time I stick to the plan and do things for myself and take the longer road! It makes me believe in myself more and helps me take more steps, it’s like a loop that helps me keep growing and build that unshakable self confidence! But all of it lies in the proof of work! Not sure how you’ll take this audio, but this is my understanding of how money and relationships work. It has now become a rule of life for me: there will always be someone earning more than you and someone less than you. You’ll create a wave of emotions in both of them. Rather, let’s enjoy company for what it is rather than making it about who’s living better! It took me a while to learn that people do what’s best for them, so that makes it all the more important to be aware of who you let into your life. Don’t fall for the charms and the words. Listen, observe, give it time, and see if their words match their actions, and how their actions make you feel! In the end, don’t ignore your gut, because it’s raising an alarm for a reason! If you’ve lived all your life for others and never lived for yourself, this episode might help you dive deep into how it can eventually become frustrating and turn your relationships sour. Taking care of yourself is a priority and then you can start taking care of others, it is not selfish to say no and prioritise oneself! As always I hope this episode helps and thank you for giving me your time, please leave a feedback and share it with someone who might benefit from it 𝗠𝗬 𝗦𝗢𝗖𝗜...
First heartbreaks are tough, but let me break it to you: they never get easy. The only way to get over someone is to walk home to your self and take action towards yourself, which is what self-love is! You need to fill your cup and know how to keep it overflowing so you never run out of love, and the next time, if it happens again, you won’t be as devastated. ❤️ 𝗠𝗬 𝗦𝗢𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗠𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗔 𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗟𝗘𝗦: ▶️ Main Channel: https://youtube.com/simmygoraya6060 📸 Main Instagram: https://instagram...
Today, I want to share something that might not be well accepted, but over the years, I've come to understand that TRUE FRIENDSHIP doesn't exist. You will have friends who will be there to a limit. The second you grow more or achieve better things, or they start doing better, the jealousy and comparison kick in. Deep down, we all have the same emotions and we're all humans. As humans, we constantly compare and get jealous, and that is how true friendships eventually turn into dead weight. In ...
I’ve been comparing myself with others and their journey and often felt really bad about my own but a switch just flipped when I realize if you compare myself the other way around, it actually motivates and pushes me to do better and brings in the kind of gratitude that I hadn’t felt before! Not saying your problems are not problems but don’t compare only one side, keep the comparison open on both ends, it gives perspective! I have felt stuck in life ruminating about past mistakes and the baggage of guilt you carry! This episode is a reminder to myself that all you can do is let go, accept your mistake, learn from it and drop it! Don’t carry it with you! I was stuck in a pattern of constantly attracting the same type of people who would end up hurting me. I'd wonder about things like, How do you spot a manipulative person? How do you know if a person is right for you? How do you tell a person's true intentions? A simple shift can help you identify toxic people around you and that’s to learn the art of listening and observing! I have often questioned myself and my choices of doing things differently and not fitting in anywhere I go, I have this urge to do things my way and that often ends up being the longer and more difficult journey and in these times I look up to people who have taken the road less travelled and believed in themselves even when no one else did and even when they couldn’t see the destination, they kept believing and kept going, I refuse to believe that all that hard work and all that faith will e...
Have you ever noticed how sometimes, when we speak too much and overshare, our own words can be used against us? It's a common trap, and I'm sharing my thoughts on why the power of listening intentionally is so underestimated! When you make the conscious choice to listen more, you'll find it helps you learn so much more about people. It's incredible how often people are always revealing themselves, even in casual conversations, if only we take the time to truly hear them. For those who...
It’s been a few years since I started my self improvement journey and doing the difficult things and it was then that I discovered that I was secretly building self confidence by keeping promises to myself and keeping my own word to myself. I know we think there is an easier way to build confidence but true confidence comes from repetition and repetition in keeping your own word about your process and plans. Don’t make fake promises to yourself you’re doing more damage than good. Hope this ep...
Certain things I am glad didn’t go my way, for example Simmysaidwhatt, it was something I knew deep down would land me in trouble if I continued and I am glad some higher power intervened and I took the decision to stop it and something I realized much later was how important it is to maintain privacy (we all have our journey) and social media did give me that illusion that it is a safe space and you can share everything but I can tell you from experience that it’s nothing but an illusi...
Negativity is like gravity, it pulls you down you have to fight with every ounce of will in you against that pull. It’s not easy but it’s a choice you will have to make & the rewards are yours and long lasting! Don’t let that beautiful house within you lose its charm and grace cause of failures, mistakes or things not going as per plan! Pick yourself up and be your own cheerleader but helping that little seed of happiness flourish so it can give you rewards you seek! Hope this epis...
Nothing in this world is permanent, not even the people we think are gonna be with us forever, letting go is therefor a life skill almost a necessity of life! You cannot navigate adulthood without learning the art of letting go and moving on and staying detached from people and situations. In this video I am talking about the root cause of why it hurts to let go and why we need them back in our lives & this is your sign to let them go and set yourself free! As always I hope this ep...
We’ve all faced the guilt of past mistakes and the regrets of making mistakes, I’ve realized there’s not much to be done but to accept the fact that we did what we did and now we can only move ahead! Easier said than done but still far better than the ones who refuse to acknowledge their mistakes and learn from it. Hope this little pep talk helps you release some of that guilt you’ve been holding onto! As always leave your feedback and share with someone who needs to hear it❤ Yo...
