In today's episode we’re diving into one of the most overlooked yet critically important pieces of the chronic illness puzzle — the mouth. Joining me is Dr. Alexander Volchonok, founder of TetraHealth Centers and a nationally recognized leader in biologic dentistry. Today’s conversation will explore how biologic dentistry connects the dots between oral health and systemic illness. Biologic dentistry is not just about teeth — it’s about understanding the mouth as an integral part of the immune and neurological systems. Dr Alex covers topics like mercury fillings, root canals, TMJ, and everything you need to understand the mouth-body connection. These issues often go undetected in conventional models of care, so this episode is a must-listen for patients and practitioners seeking answers when traditional approaches fall short. Dr Alex and his team use advanced diagnostics such as 3D CBCT imaging, biocompatibility testing, ozone protocols, and meticulous surgical techniques. TetraHealth helps patients reduce inflammatory burden and restore physiologic balance. TetraHealth also offers telehealth consultations. Dr Alex is generously offering a $100 discount on initial consults for listeners who mention this podcast.  For more information: mytetrahealth.com Instagram: Tetrahealth Biologic Dentistry Don't miss out—download, add, or follow to stay tuned for our episodes and new stories every Wednesday. In today's episode, I'm joined by Brittney as she opens up in what may be the most raw, real, and emotional conversation I've ever been a part of.  Brittney shares her journey as a mother whose life was changed dramatically after the birth of her second child.  What began as anxiety and leg pain quickly escalated into severe intrusive thoughts that eventually led her to admitting herself into a psychiatric facility, desperate for answers. She eventually learned of her true diagnosis: PANS, Lyme & co-infections. Her healing journey started at Sanoviv in Mexico, an inpatient medical facility that addressed every layer of her illness, including physical treatment, nutrition and mental health care.  Through intensive therapies including hyperthermia, FMT, and Plasmapheresis she began reclaiming her life. This episode is a powerful testimony of resilience, faith and the importance of proper diagnosis.  It is a reminder that when symptoms are dismissed or misunderstood, the story is not over. There is hope, there are answers, and healing is possible. In this episode, I'm joined by my guest Nicole, an avid horseback rider who spent years exposed to ticks without fully understanding the impact they could have on the body.  After the birth of her first child, her health dramatically declined.  When she was presented with the potential MS diagnosis, Nicole refused to accept it!  We discuss how Lyme can stay hidden for years/decades and how trauma/major life events can trigger symptoms to come to surface. Nicole also shares the very real fear of thinking outside the box, especially when she was introduced to muscle testing, which felt unfamiliar and uncertain at first.  Despite that fear, she chose to trust the process; and ultimately it became the game changer in her healing journey.  With intention and focus, Nicole shares how she carefully allocated her energy and her financial resources, choosing education and self-advocacy as her most powerful tools. This conversation is a powerful reminder of how educating yourself, listening to your body and working with the right practitioner can change everything.
