Peter was chained, surrounded by guards, and scheduled for execution. And he was sound asleep. That kind of peace only comes from one place: complete confidence in a God who has never failed. What chains in your life have you accepted as permanent that God may be ready to break right now? God is working behind the scenes, even when you cannot see it. The church prayed, and everything changed.

What are you holding onto so tightly that you are preventing God from transforming it into something extraordinary? Moses went from palace to fugitive to one of the greatest leaders in history, not in spite of his failures, but through them. Failure is never final when God is still writing your story.

Your life moves in the direction of the dominant image you hold in your mind. So what picture are you focused on right now? Is it fear, failure, and the voices telling you who you are not? Or is it the promise of God telling you who He created you to be? You are fearfully and wonderfully made by a God who thinks about you constantly. The promise is still your picture.

What if the area of your life you have been holding back from God is the very area where He is waiting to bless you most? Malachi 3 contains one of the only places in Scripture where God says test Me. Not a suggestion. Not a maybe. A direct invitation. You cannot out give God.
