Hey guys! This time on Stretching the Truth, I’m chatting with Logan, aka Muscle by the Bay. If you’ve seen his pictures on Spandex Party, you know why I wanted him on the show. Cycling kits, compression gear, singlets, Zentai, thongs—there’s always something that makes me want to ask, “Where did you get that?” We get into how a swim-team Speedo started his interest in spandex, why the feel of the fabric matters just as much as the look, and the challenge of finding that perfect fit. Even a great-looking cycling skinsuit can be a little too tight. The pictures don’t always tell the whole story, guys. Logan also shares how he went from feeling exposed in black tights and a regular workout shirt to wearing fitted tops and bottoms for every workout. That confidence grew over time, with accepting gyms in San Diego and San Francisco helping him get comfortable. And yes, sometimes the gym outfit makes a trip to the grocery store afterward. Then we talk about discovering Zentai, the freedom of being fully covered, and how trying on someone else’s latex helped him explore another side of gear. Through it all, we keep coming back to the pleasure of finding people who understand what you love. Sometimes you want to talk fabric and fit. Sometimes you want to admire the pictures. What starts with a childhood encounter with dance tights grows into a lifelong love of spandex, cosplay, and self-expression. In this episode of *Stretching the Truth*, UNB Tim talks with Manitoba-based gear enthusiast MokADragon about the many paths that led him into the spandex community—from ballet and cycling gear to catsuits, zentai, compression wear, wrestling singlets, and superhero cosplay.
