Description

Born from sincerity and self-reflection, Becoming Amal is my journey as a perfectly imperfect Muslimah striving, stumbling, and returning to اللّٰه. “Alive in Hope” from my names Amal (Hope) and Aisha (Alive), reminds me to rise after every fall, to keep learning, growing, and believing that every step toward اللّٰه counts. “And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers.”

Before Ramadan begins, let’s pause, breathe, and bring our hearts to Allah with sincerity over perfection. Reflections, duʿāʾs, and gentle reminders for the tired, the hopeful, and the hearts that keep turning back. And please bear with me there’s some background noise and a few mistakes 😭🤣. The app I use to edit misbehaved, and I’m just too tired to figure it out 😭. As for the errors, I’m human, and there’s no way I’d re-record because some mistakes are out of my control. Plus, if I did, it wouldn’t be from the heart 😭 I’d just be reading from a script 😭. So I left it as is it because the heart of the message matters more than perfect audio 😭💖.
