Welcome (back) girlie! It's been a long time since I spoke with y'all and it comes with some change... a name change! I'm no longer a "holistic baddie", I am PEACEFUL baddie. I feel that fits my intentions, energy and personality much more! It's giving pivot with no limit okayyyy ;) In this epsiode we have an hour long episode covering plenty of topics but we keep it focused on new music mondays, covering songs that I've been listening to and my reasoning behind it. Then we get into radical compassion and how that can be the key to deep contentment that we overlooked, awaiting to be found, experienced and lived out behind all that ego. We top off the conversation with my frustrations with sociatal pressures, norms, etc. while covering the need for putting ourselves first in life and not allowing anyone to define what success looks like for us other than ourselves. It gets real, so make sure you grab your snacks and get seated becuase the whole thing is one for the books.

It's definitely more "filler" than motivational, but it helped set an intention to download more music that aligns with my best self and my values. Our first topic is all about karma—what it really means and whether it's truly impactful. From there, we dive into the idea of doing what works for you. For some reason, feeling swayed to act and live in ways society expects has always been a big deal for me, so I explore all the little nooks and crannies of how this affects our lives. In this episode we get real financial and economical. We start off with talking about my antisocial phase and an embarassing middle school FaceBook story. Then we get into a few things that feel expensive but is not including traveling and eating healthy. Since there are so many things that could be considered expensive but is not and I think more people should be aware of this for I truly believe the best things in life are free. This lead into the conversation around how poverty impacted me and a bit of my financial background. We get deep into how I grew up, the joys of being lowkey poor in East Oakland, and the realization that money does not determine the level of happiness and joy you can get out of an experience - mindset does.
