For fans of Dungeons and Dragons and the Kingkiller Chronicles, a monthly high fantasy audio drama with swords, sorcery, songs, and a cozy tavern in the woods . . .
One-hundred years ago, Wren lost his memories when he struck a deal with the Goddess of Death and became her champion. His job entails operating a tavern alone in the middle of a cursed forest and guarding the path to the legendary Wishing Well. On the rare occasion that a wish-seeker survives the Manglewood long enough to reach his doorstep, he sits them down by his fire with a drink of their choice, listens to their story, and immortalizes them in song. But one-hundred years is a long time to be alone, and Wren wants nothing more than to regain his memories.

This might just forever remain one of my most favorites. love how it all turned out in the end of season one. The build up was exciting and when the plot was unraveled it was far from disappointing. Absolutely genius I especially enjoyed it after the songs from this series that I was obsessed with started making sense.
One for the high fantasy fans. This can be hard to pull off (not sure why, audio seems ideal for fantasy, but it's often too simplified or derivative), they've done a really good job here though. Starts as though it has a separate story per episode, but as you progress they interweave more and more until all the pieces of the overarching story are pulled together at the end. With this sort of fantasy you already know whether you'll enjoy it; it's your thing or its not. A bit like marmite.
