It's the most wonderful time for a beer, wet hopped beers to be specific. Bines are harvested and then hops are quickly raced to a nearby (ish) brewery, where they are thrown right into the boil kettle. There aren't as many wet hopped beers as there used to be, but there are still some great ones from local favorite breweries. Teeling's Master Distiller, Alex Chasko, got his start during the nascent days of the craft beer industry in the US. That probably explains why he's always driving innovation for Teeling Whiskey's barrel regiments. It's those unique barrel regiments that keeps the Whiskey Hotline returning to the Teeling barrel warehouse every year to dig through thousands of casks to find unique and interesting barrel finishes. Good stuff, looking forward to grabbing the Turley and giving it a try. Would love it if you repeated the name of the beer/wine/distillate after the review. I listen as I drive or am otherwise not hands free and that extra mention after review/discussion might help me retain. #brightasa2wattbulb
