This week, the American Academy of Pediatrics released its updated vaccine schedule for children, and for the first time in decades, it does not fully align with the CDC's recommendations. All of this comes as the U.S. faces one of the worst flu seasons in recent years. In this Special Edition, we turn to Dr. Céline Gounder, a leading public health expert, physician, and epidemiologist, to help make sense of what's changing and what families should know. We break down what the split between the AAP and CDC actually means for parents, where this flu season stands right now, which symptoms and treatments matter most, and how to think about timing, vaccines, and risk moving forward. We hope this helps you feel more prepared and make more informed decisions for yourself and your family. where is today's news? (Monday, October 13)
7:30 … Several thousand marched in protest ? Did you report the 3,000,000 that marched about 2 days ago in support of Trumpism ?
2:50 … You are part of the problem calling right of center events "Far Right" …
6:00 . . . "Scientific Consensus" in most areas of study is now corrupted by political agendas.
The temporary AI voice sounded good to me . . .
Uh . . . The decline of wine drinking is a direct result of the acceptance of casual dope smoking. Dope has replaced wine in many segments of society.
I don't remember you doing one of these "OMG how do we deal with all this stress due to current events" episodes during the last regime. Why is that ?
Fur sure fur sure . . . She's a valley girl & there is no cure . . .
They almost always leave out the economy & the squashing out of the middle class as a cause when discussing changing societal & cultural habits.
I've gotten quite a few of those scam "pay your toll fees" texts. These days I try to ask myself "Why should I believe this ?" on just about everything . . .
This episode should be renamed "The Whiny Broad" or "Gee Men Are Lousy".
This is the best episode! You and your guest made great common sense points that we don't see in the mainstream news. Thank you!
If they can't account for half of the billions of dollars The US has given them should they have a chair at the table . . . ?
Knucklehead Central . . .
This podcast is becoming super woke . . .
Tipping teachers ?
Valley Girl Doctor . . .
Your usually unbiased reporting is much appreciated, but this one was very biased. it makes me question if I should continue listening. Can anyone recommend a truly unbiased news source?
Very biased taking #Trump's comments out of context . . .
I am wondering why you talk about the high temperatures in part of the country but don't even mention the low temperature in other parts. Chadron, NE had a low temperature of 34* yesterday, and other areas are experiencing abnormally low high temperatures.
