Jan Milton tells us about the response of Operation Renewed Hope in Jamaica after Hurricane Melissa.   For more information, see https://myemail.constantcontact.com/JAMAICA-AND-KERRVILLE.html?soid=1134023763267&aid=t4UgLtcxA1A   Pastor Oral Anderson has been a rich blessing to the people of all the area around Montego Bay, Jamaica. He has worked very hard with families to provide building materials through the financial support of ORH. Currently, he is compiling needs of people in Jamaica.   It is so easy to see Jamaica for its tourism and to believe all benefit from this. The truth is that Jamaica is predominately made of working people getting by, day by day. Brother Anderson has proven himself faithful to help because these people have lost much. Pray for him. ORH asked him to help a village with the Christmas season, and ORH would provide the funds to do the ministry to the village.
In this episode, Jim Childress tells us more about the way the Lord has worked to spread the gospel in Panama. We think you will enjoy these stories of the way that he has partnered with Operation Renewed Hope across these decades. In this special Thanksgiving episode, Jan Milton reminds us of why we ought to give thanks to the Lord. We think you will enjoy these stories from past efforts by Operation Renewed Hope.
In this episode, Jan Milton gives us an update on the Operation Renewed Hope disaster relief efforts in Jamaica after the devastation of Hurricane Melissa. Click here to read the update and see videos from Pastor Cummings and Pastor Winston Nathan on the scene in Jamaica. https://myemail.constantcontact.com/Melissa---Sea-Hope-delivers-food-for-hardest-hit-area-.html?soid=1134023763267&aid=505Pdz1FZpc The circumstances in Jamaica are very difficult for the churches and people. Melissa created a path of destruction from which the average Jamaican might need years to recover.   One of ORH's best partners is Captain Buddy Puryear. He and his ministry Sea Hope has been faithful to be ready for every challenge. He and his volunteer crews deliver needed supplies during disaster and non-disaster situations Although many were attempting to deliver relief to the Jamaican people, Captain Puryear was doing so. From Puerto Rico, the Sea Hope sailed with 40,000+ pounds of cargo. Twelve thousand pounds of this cargo was for ORH to be delivered to Pastor Stan Cummings of Bayshore Baptist Church just outside of Kingston.
For more about this episode, see https://myemail.constantcontact.com/Mellissa-Relief-Arrives-.html?soid=1134023763267&aid=yQI7s9YN6PY   Thank God good people do great works. Hearts with Hands, Dr. Greg Lintz, has demonstrated great works for many years. By faith, ORH was privileged to join with Hearts with Hands by paying $20,000 of the $38,000 flight cost to deliver the cargo of 44,000 pounds. Pastor Gregory Watson, Pastor Ben Jackson, Pastor Oral Anderson, and Pastor David Pryce are designated to receive the cargo. Three have received their cargo; however, at the time of this update, Pastor Watson cannot be contacted. ORH always prizes those who agree to work through our plans  and support. Thank God for Pastor Pryce who donated his church storage space for housing, staging, an distribution. Pastor Oral Anderson has worked tirelessly getting ready to receive the donation at Montego Bay's Sangster International. Brother Lintz said that our cargo plane was the first to land with supplies. Thank God for A.J James who fought patiently to obtain clearance to fly into Jamaica to work there for ORH. Also, ORH is thankful to Kevin McCoy who flew in with the 737-cargo plane for ORH and was held in customs for three hours. Pray ORH has funds to express appreciation for all's willingness to labor in love. Much is left to be done. Pray all will go well as we take the Gospel to hundreds of people. Hurricane Melissa reached the theoretical limits of how powerful a storm can be on planet Earth. A major hurricane with 185 mph sustained winds, Melissa struck the island nation of Jamaica on October 27, 2025. The outlying tropical storm winds also flooded the western peninsula of Haiti and parts of the Dominican Republic. In this episode, Jan Milton tells us about the coordinated relief efforts of Operation Renewed Hope and our partner organizations. We are working on providing relief to Jamaica, Haiti and the Dominican Republic. In the next episode, we will share more about this situation. In this edition of Stories of Hope and Help, team members tell us about their experiences from ORH Boot Camp to the field in Guyana, We think you will enjoy hearing these teens testify about what the Lord is doing through them.
In this episode, we hear from James and Rachel as they tell us how the Lord taught them that He is "able to do exceeding abundantly above all we ask or think" (Ephesians 3:19-21). They sacrificed time and money to join the ORH medical mission team to Guyana. Listen to their testimonies of how the Lord blessed them through joining this team.
In this episode, we learn that ORH is finding more folks who have suffered serious loss during the July 2025 flooding in Texas. Yet, by gospel grace, we are able to share the greatest news of all with them. Jan Milton reports on the way that ORH has learned about more survivors by talking with other organizations.
How is it possible for Operation Renewed Hope to conduct medical mission clinics in remote regions of the world with the full cooperation of  each nation's government? And once the national government agrees, how do we work with local officials?  In this episode, Mike Kinnon tells us about his ministry with ORH. Trained as a civil engineer with years of experiences in logistics, Mike is the first member of the ORH team to arrive on the proposed site of the clinic -- months in advance.  We think you will enjoy hearing his stories of how Operation Renewed Hope is able to give hope and help through the grace of Jesus Christ. Perhaps you know missionaries who would be interested in hosting a medical missions trip. If so, please share this episode with them.
