Most people who train to be a dog professional care deeply about the dogs and people that they help. The trouble is that it's often at the expense of us, the dog pros, who end up working all the hours, trying to do all the things and ultimately burning ourselves out! At the moment our industry just doesn't have the infrastructure to support it's people and that has a huge ripple effect, not only on our mental health, but on the service we are able to provide to others.
