Nicolle Wallace on yet another boat strike launched by the United States military yesterday that killed four people, and growing calls from lawmakers in both parties to release the footage of the highly controversial 'double-tap' boat strike which has called into question the legality of the actions of the United States military. For more, follow us on Instagram @deadlinewh For more from Nicolle, follow and download her podcast, “The Best People with Nicolle Wallace,” wherever you get your podcasts. To listen to this show and other MS podcasts without ads, sign up for MS NOW Premium on Apple Podcasts. After breaking down Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s numerous controversies, such as the boat strikes in the Caribbean and Signalgate, Nicolle asks “Who are we?” The answer may lie in new reporting from Bloomberg, which reveals that the FBI is pressuring the bureau’s domestic terrorism agents to open a seditious conspiracy investigation into six Democratic lawmakers who advised military service members to defy unlawful orders.Later, Carol Leonnig and Andrew Weissmann join Nicolle to discuss the snag the Trump DOJ ran into in an effort to re-indict New York Attorney General Letitia James. In late November, Letitia James and James Comey had their criminal indictments dismissed by a judge, citing Prosecutor Lindsay Halligan’s “unlawful appointment.” Finally, Jacob Soboroff breaks down his interview with a college student who was taken into ICE custody and deported back to Honduras. She was detained at the airport while she was on her way to surprise her family for Thanksgiving. For more, follow us on Instagram @deadlinewhTo listen to this show and other MS NOW podcasts without ads, sign up for MS NOW Premium on Apple Podcasts. Nicolle Wallace covers a bipartisan effort to receive more answers on the deadly double-tap boat strike in the Caribbean. After Congress was briefed on the military operation, Rep. Jim Himes (D-CT) said, “what I saw in that room was one of the most troubling things I’ve seen in my time in public service.”Later, Nicolle covers the Pentagon Inspector General’s conclusion that Pete Hegseth did not follow proper Department of Defense protocol, which does not allow using personal devices for official DoD business. This conclusion is in response to Hegseth and other prominent Trump administration officials discussing classified war plans on a messaging app called Signal. The scandal has since been dubbed ‘Signalgate.’For more, follow us on Instagram @deadlinewhTo listen to this show and other MS NOW podcasts without ads, sign up for MS NOW Premium on Apple Podcasts. Nicolle Wallace on the scrutiny over Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth leadership mounting on two fronts today, his role in the likely illegal “double tap” boat strike in the Caribbean, and the Pentagon watchdog that found Hegseth put U.S. personnel at risk with his use of the Signal App.For more, follow us on Instagram @deadlinewh For more from Nicolle, follow and download her podcast, “The Best People with Nicolle Wallace,” wherever you get your podcasts. To listen to this show and other MS podcasts without ads, sign up for MS NOW Premium on Apple Podcasts. Nicolle Wallace covers Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s order to the military to leave no survivors on a strike against boats in the Caribbean. Reporting in The Washington Post suggests that current and former members of the military are unsure if all the people on the targeted boat were guilty of drug trafficking —Hegseth’s primary justification for the strikes. While the Defense Department carries out boat strikes in the name of fighting drug trafficking, Nicolle, Andrew Weissmann, and Former Senator Claire McCaskill discuss Trump’s pardon of former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez. Hernandez was found guilty of shipping “more than 500 tons of cocaine into the United States,” according to The New York Times. For more, follow us on Instagram @deadlinewhTo listen to this show and other MS NOW podcasts without ads, sign up for MS NOW Premium on Apple Podcasts. Nicolle - There was a day this week when you mentioned the Clintons and Whitewater divisively. I just wanted to remind you that the Clintons were investigated EXTENSIVELY and were never indicted for anything related to Whitewater.

On the subject of birthright citizenship ... my parents came here legally in the early 1950s. Going through the legal process back then, they got their citizenship in the late 1950s. My brothers and I were born in the mid-1950s. Are we here illegally? If we are illegal, I wish my parents hadn't insisted on totally "Americanizing" us; I only speak English and only have government service on my very long resume.
