A six-episode show to cleasne the bing-watching pallet? Why yes, the girls did love it. So much you could say it did steal their hearts. In this episode, Amanda and Maggie talk about Judy Blume, McDonalds nuggets vs Jack in the Box tacos as a currency comparision, and whether or not they could actually pull off a heist like this. They discuss the logistics of hiding the digital money card, whether or not they could pull this off, even when there are shards of glass in the way, and how much guilt would consume them (if any) if they stumbled into $20 million and didn't give it all away! Hey, if you liked this episode and you love this show, don't forget to like, subscribe, and leave a review. They're not trying to steal reviews, they want to come by it honestly. :)
Reviewing Season 1 of Heated Rivalry Maggie and Amanda finally watched and reviewed Heated Rivalry and they're still unsure how all that heat didn't melt the ice! It's hardly a spoiler alert to say they both loved this show and they are making it their goal to make sure everyone watches it (and listens accordingly to OSF). I mean, if you watched Heated Rivalry and didn't fall in love with it, then what the puck is wrong with you? Make sure to follow them on Instagram and TikTok for more video clips and YouTube where you can watch the entire, unedited version of the pod!
Reviewing Season 1 of The Studio. Isn't it great when two Sisters-in-law both absolutely love a show they are reviewing that is a tv show about peope who make moview who think they are really good about movies and it's reviewed on a podcast about tv shows (and sometimes movies?) Yeah, we think so, too. Two thumbs up for the cast, the writing, the art direction, and of course Brian Cranston in season one of The Studio. The girls talk about how they were both pacing during The Oner episode, how unbelievably chaotic and real this show is, and of course, Brian Cranston. They're so thankful the studio picked up The Studio for Season 2.
Recapping Season 1 of Plurabis Amanda and Maggie were so excited to watch this show because apparenty everyone "couldn't stop thinking about it." The girls? Well, they had a hard time thinking about how they could make it all the way through, until they did. And one of them even ended up really liking the show. The girls talk about what they would do if they were in this situation, are they team Carol or team The Others, how put together Carol is when seemingly the entire world has fallen apart, and of course, another plea to anyone who is considering not leaning into the architure of their home to please consider otherwise. This show really got them thinking: Hey, are we Plurabis fans now?
Recapping Season of The Pitt! Amanda and Maggie are together again! Maggie makes a guest apperance in the Dallas studio and they have the most fun talking about the best show, The Pitt. They loved this "ER meets 24" medical drama. Very real. Very intense. Very exicted for Season 2. They talk about their favorite doctors and who they would and would NOT want to treat them from the cast of The Pitt. They even introduce a new character to the show: Aunti Chianti. (Brought to you by 1/2 priced bottles of wine at Cane Rosso on Wednesdays). The Pitt is a must watch and you must watch it so you can follow along when they recap Season 2!
Reapping Season 1, Part 2 of All's Fair There's nothing fair about the fact this show is actually on TV but it's 2026 and here we are. Amanda and Maggie discuss this show in detail, much to Amanda's dismay. Maggie tries to convince her of all the redeemding qualities of this show while the only thing Amanda can get on board with is a nice, monochromatic dress code that really pulls an outfit together. Amanda is still floored there will be a season 2, but she's committed to this podcast, and more importantly, her wonderful sister-in-law, so she will through. Turns out, All is not Fair when recapping tv shows for a famous podcast.
Recapping Season 1 of The Chair Company-Part 2. Back on their same bullshit for 2026 and here to recap the last half of this Tim Robinson tv treat. They talk about both the predictability and unpredictabilty of Season 1. They discuss who would be "banter" and who would be "bits" if they changed their name to "Banter and Bits." Amanda finally tells the story of the time she was wrongfully arrested. Maggie introduces her pitch for a new British Band: Sharing Dairy! They discuss the brilliance that is James (Jim) Downey, how why Maggie decided not to go to art school, and how they are both prepping for this big, winter snowmageddon! If you're loving this content, please like, subscribe, and leave a review. It really helps them and they know you love to help!
Recapping the 83rd annual Golden Globes While Amanda and Maggie must have both missed their invites in the mail, they were still delighted to recap some of their favorite moments from this year's ceremony. They talk about Nikki Glaser and what a rock star she is, their favorite Globes looks, the shows that won, and all the new TV they have to add to their list. It's fair to say they're going to be very busy playing catch up with all the incredible shows out there. Join them in their campaign to #getthemtotheglobes next year. They've got sequin tops and soft pants ready to go!
Reviewing When Harry Met Sally They may not remember where they where the first time they met this movie, but the girls do know they haven't met another film quite like it. One of the best films of our generation that culminates on New Years Eve, Nora Ephron's writing and Rob Reiner's directing couldn't be a better match. Amanda and Maggie talk about all the wonderful quotes and moments that come from this film, whether or not tiny finger tap shoes are the next billion dollar idea of theirs, and what it's like to be snowed in with over 2 feet of snow while recording! This was a movie for the ages and the best one to wrap up the year. The recent and tragic loss of Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle is devastating. Thank you, Rob and Michelle, for all the wonderful moments you brought the silver screen. We are so grateful for you and your work and are thinking about your family during this time.
Reviewing My Secret Santa. It's no secret that the girls kinda liked this holiday film. Was it giving Mrs. Doubtfire meets problematic HR issues? Yes. Was it somewhat unbelievalbe and still charming? Yes. Does Amanda think the male lead is the Travis Tanner of Hallmark films? Obviously, yes. Amanda ad Maggie dish about their favorite moments from this holiday film that was ranked #1 on Netflix (on the day they watched it) and also gab about what it's like to have boring hair, how easy it would be for Amanda to date Glen Powell, and how the math isn't mathing on their listener to reviewer ratio. So, hey! If you like this podcast, don't forget to subscribe and PLEASE leave a review. It helps them soooo much, and it's the helping holiday season so help some girls out! Up next week: A Very Merry Ex-mas
Reviewing Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story Amanda and Maggie really nose their stuff in this epsiode. They talk about what it's like to get "work done", what it's like to be a Bills and/or a Cowboys fan. They also talk about what it's like to live in a helluva lot of snow and how not-so-acurate the clothing for negative wind chill temps. They even discuss where they'd set the scene for next year's version of the same film (or the same title!) What did you think of this football festive film? Let them know!
Reviewing The Beast In Me. Well if it isn't another psychological thriller that requires at least one hand basket, if not two, for viewing! Maggie and Amanda give their hot takes on this show with a star-studded cast. They discuss when it is and is not appropraite to go to the bathroom while on the phone, how to properly pronounce the name Lauren, and why everyone needs a show psychologist. They talk about how much creme brulee is truly enough and they pitch new Jennifer Garner and Patrick J. Adams to be the new stars of this now-rumored anthology. What did you think of The Beast in Me? DM them or send them an email, they wanna hear from you! Make sure to follow them on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube for all things TV and don't forget to like, subscribe, and leave a review on the podcast!
Reviewing the epsiodes 1-4 of All's Fair... Amanda gave in to Maggie's request to watch this "law procedural" starring none other than Kim Kardashian. As someone who barely keeps up with any of the Kardashians, this one was a stretch for Amanda. Maggie talks about all the redeemding qualities of this show while Amanda sides with most critics who genuinely can't stand it. It's truly a show unlike any other law procedural and they still have four more episodes to review very soon. What are your thoughts on this new (hopefully) limited series?
Recapping Season 2 of Nobody Wants This Nobody Wants This? Or does everybody want this? Amanda and Maggie want it. In fact, it's a show so nice they recorded it twice! They recap the entire second season of this "warm blanket rom com" and talk about the everything relatable and unreleatable about this show. They talk about how nobody on LinkedIn has any business talking about TV. They also have a very healthy debate about Talbots vs Casual Corner, whether or not they'd tell each other if their spanx were showing, and how dumb wedding dress sizes are. It's safe to say that when it comes to season 3, Amanda and Maggie totally want this.
Recapping episodes 1-4 of The Chair Company If ever there was a show that was the voice of literally everyone, it is this one. During every bit of the first four episodes of The Chair Company, the girls couldn't stop saying "this is me. THIS IS ME!" And it kind of is everyone. They talk about the last time they went to a mall and how they would handle the HR complaint if they were in HR. Tim Robinson is one of the greats and he had the girls on the edge of their seats in the first four episodes of this customer service story that takes a wildly different turn. In just four more weeks, they'll recap the last four episodes of season 1, so pull up a chair (Just not one from Tecca!) and get all caught up on this inevitable cult classic.
Recapping Season 3 of The Diplomat The girls are throwing it back to their old Suits ways with Season 3 of The Diplomat where one of them konws a lot more about the series than the other one. Maggie watched just one episode before diving into Season 3 and Amanda has seen them all at least once (because of course). They talk about all the juicy relationships, how they would operate if they were President + VP, and how great a Patsy Wheel would be in the Whitehouse (or any house!). Hear all their hot thoughts and predictions for season 4 and learn if Maggie is sold on The Diplomat or not. Make sure to like, subscribe, and leave a review! Up next we're watching: Nobody Wants This
The girls felt like Wayward youths themselves as they went down a very windy path to recap this limited series show in Netflix. They talk about Amanda's house ghost interfering with the viewing, Maggie's love of the Paris Hilton autobiography, and their shared appreciation of the MTV hit series: Undressed. One of them really liked this show and the other one could barely get through it (she didn't!) We guess this prooves sisters-in-law may get along but they don't always agree on shows...that's what keeps it interesting! If you liked this episode or show, make sure to like, subscribe, and leave a review! Up next: Season 3 of The Diplomat
Recapping Part 2 of Black Rabbit The girls are back for another intense episode and it's a good thing they had started off the day with a good breakfast and some grinding their coffee beans. They take you through the back half of the limited series, Black Rabbit, and they have HOT THOUGHTS. They also chat about their favorite thing for breakfast, whether or not they would take cash to disappear in Mexico, and how many people in their family can they recognize by their eyes. It might have been a limited episode but they had unlimited adoration for the acting in this show. Up next: Wayward
THEY ARE BACK! And kicking off their new glow up with part one of Black Rabbit. And OMG the only word they can use to describe this show: INTENSE. From start to finish, this limited series starring Jason Bateman and Jude Law had the on pins and needles. The plot-wild. The acting-no notes. The nostaliga for Amanda & Maggie-maybe a little too close to home (without the drugs). In fact it's so intense it took two episodes to cover everything. SO many spoilers so make sure to watch before you listen.
It's almost time, y'all! OSF is about to have a real, live glow up and the girls are ready for it! This week, they reveal their October watch list so you can start binge watching alongside them. That's right...comfy couch season is just around the corner and they are about to dive in and binge watch some of the top shows on streaming this month. It's a busy schedule that kicks off with THE MOST intense show on tv...Black Rabbit! Line up is always subject to change because if another good show comes along, you know they're gonna watch and recap faster than you can put on your soft pants and pop some corn!
