Description

America is complicated, so this show breaks it down to the basics with a fresh, urban view. Join Rich Valdés, nicknamed “our liberty-loving Latino amigo” by “The Great One” Mark Levin as he tackles news & pop culture with wit, humor, and a dash of sofrito.

Rich Valdés is a nationally-ranked, globally recognized talk show host and commentator seen and heard across cable news, television, talk radio, and major conferences, bringing a distinct American-Hispanic perspective to today’s biggest issues in society and culture. He was nationally syndicated by Cumulus Media's Westwood One in 2022, taking over the legendary late-night timeslot pioneered by Larry King and Jim Bohannon before expanding his syndication to Roku TV in 2026. He started his broadcasting career in New York City on 77 WABC Radio in 2018. Named to Talkers Magazine’s “100 Most Important Radio Talk Show Hosts in America” for 2023, 2024, and 2025, he climbed from the lower half of the list to number 38 out of 100, reflecting his rapid rise in national influence.

Valdés has been a producer and regular substitute guest-host on the Mark Levin Show, where he was known on-air as “Richie V, Mr. Call Screener.” He previously served in New Jersey Governor Chris Christie’s administration and later became Director of Operations at Project Veritas, deepening his experience at the intersection of media, politics, and activism.

A proud American of Puerto Rican heritage, Valdés is a Gen-Xer born in Brooklyn, NY, who spent his teen years in Hudson County, NJ. At 16, while still in high school, he turned a haircutting hobby in his dad’s apartment into a full barbershop business, reflecting the entrepreneurial grit that shapes his worldview.

Valdés is also a co-founder of a charter school and has served as a school board member, underscoring his commitment to education and opportunity. New York, NY – January 23, 2026 – Global Media Federation (GMF), led by Latin music icon Raul Acosta, and its streaming network Festiva TV, today proudly announced the signing of acclaimed broadcaster Rich Valdes for a forward-thinking syndication partnership. This collaboration delivers Valdes’ popular late-night show exclusively in Spanish to Roku’s 90 million+ subscribed households, while unveiling the network’s new cutting-edge streaming TV studio overlooking iconic Times Square as the production hub.The deal marks Festiva TV’s strategic expansion beyond its core music offerings into high-quality news and commentary programming, bringing Valdes’ signature upbeat conservative commentary—covering current events, culture, and faith with Puerto Rican flair—to a massive Spanish-speaking audience via AI-dubbed content. The program to be available at 9:00 pm EST and is syndicated exclusively on Roku through Festiva TV (in Spanish).Acosta, the visionary behind GMF and creator of the merengue band Oro Solido, approached Valdes for this first-of-its-kind collaboration, recognizing him as one of the top hosts in the country and the most recognized Hispanic broadcaster in conservative talk media—highlighted by his hand-picked succession to the legendary late-night syndicated timeslot once held by Larry King and Jim Bohannon, plus frequent commentaries on Newsmax TV. “Given the shifting political tides in the Caribbean and Latin America, choosing Rich Valdes as a syndication partner for our Roku channel was a no-brainer,” said Acosta. “He’s nationally recognized, extremely talented, attracts high-quality guests, and his personality and clear perspective are exactly what our audience is looking for as we grow Festiva TV into a premier destination for news and commentary.”This strategic alliance enables true bilingual access: audiences can continue enjoying Valdes in English on iHeartRadio and other platforms, while viewers can now watch the AI-dubbed Spanish version on Roku and major streaming devices, including Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV.The partnership fills a key market gap by delivering sophisticated U.S.-based conservative content tailored to Hispanic viewers across the U.S., Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, and beyond. Production will originate from Valdes’ new flagship streaming studio in the heart of Times Square, featuring panoramic views of the landmark Times Square view and supporting dynamic town-hall discussions and in-depth interviews.“It’s a blessing to partner with Raul Acosta and Festiva TV to bring my show ‘En Español’ to tens of millions on Roku,” said Valdes. “This allows us to reach new audiences in Spanish while I remain completely open to English syndication opportunities across terrestrial radio, cable television, and streaming platforms like Rumble—building on my ongoing work in those spaces.”Festiva TV, with over 60 channels and 20 streaming radio options, is excited to delve deeper into talk shows and commentary as part of its evolution into a full-spectrum entertainment and information platform. Does anyone but me have trouble adjusting the volume with this podcast? I listen with earbuds and I'm about to go deaf when sometimes the volume is very low, then suddenly the volume explodes. Enjoy content, but volume control difficult.
