Description

The Thyroidless Life Podcast with Dr. Rebecca Warren is focused on the clinical experience, personal experience, and research on what it looks like to actually get well after having your thyroid removed or being diagnosed with a thyroid disorder.

Dr. Rebecca had her thyroid removed when she was just 19 years old, and ended up suffering unnecessarily with hormone issues that left her hopeless. She ended up drawing a line in the sand and took back her health. And from there she decided to take all the things she learned over a decade and a half, and began to teach thousands of women worldwide about thyroid and hormone health.

Look at this podcast as a personal walk with Dr. Rebecca of all the things she wish someone had told her when she was 19 and everything she wishes every woman knew.

In this episode, Dr. Rebecca Warren dives deep into the intricate relationship between food and thyroid hormone health—especially for those healing after thyroidectomy. After walking through her own journey of overcoming thyroid cancer, she has learned firsthand how crucial it is to understand the role food plays as fuel, not medicine. Her goal in this episode is to clear up common dietary misconceptions and help listeners feel confident about nourishing their bodies well. She breaks down the controversial topic of gluten, its connection to autoimmune thyroid disorders, and how it can contribute to leaky gut. She also shares the important differences between A1 and A2 dairy, how each affects inflammation and gut function, and why some forms of dairy may be much better tolerated than others. She even dives into the truth about soy and cruciferous vegetables—two foods people often fear unnecessarily—and explains how they can support hormone balance when incorporated mindfully. Above all, she emphasizes the importance of listening to your body, honoring your unique needs, and avoiding overly restrictive eating patterns that can actually hinder healing. If you're ready to make informed food choices without the overwhelm, this episode is for you.   ⭐ Your feedback means so much to me! Dr. Rebecca Warren often meets people who are doing everything "by the book" — taking their medication exactly as instructed — yet still feel tired, foggy, and frustrated. The truth is, the way most people are told to take their thyroid meds isn't individualized for their unique body. In this episode, she's sharing one simple change that can completely transform how your body uses thyroid hormones. It's something most doctors never talk about, but it can make all the difference in how you heal, function, and feel every day. If your labs look normal but you don't feel normal, this one's for you.   ⭐ Your feedback means so much to me! What if what you've been told is "normal" life after thyroidectomy… isn't? Too many people are told their labs are "fine" or that fatigue, brain fog, weight gain, or anxiety are just part of living without a thyroid. But here's the truth: those things are not normal—they're warning signs. We can't ignore the fact that we lost a vital organ. Life will always be different after thyroidectomy—but different doesn't have to mean defeated. We live in a broken system that convinces you to settle for symptoms instead of solutions. And if you don't question it, you'll be left surviving instead of truly living. In this episode, Dr. Rebecca exposes what's actually normal versus what's not when you no longer have a thyroid—so you can stop settling and finally start healing. ⭐ Your feedback means so much to me! During this podcast break, Dr. Rebecca realized how deeply this message still resonates. Even after all this time, so many listeners are still listening, still sharing, and still searching for real answers—and she gets it. Because after 20 years of living without a thyroid, she's seen how truly broken our medical system is. In this episode, she shares her honest thoughts about what's gone wrong in both conventional and even functional medicine—how women are being dismissed, overmedicated, and made to believe that being a woman is somehow a disease. From thyroid care to fertility to menopause, we've normalized dysfunction instead of healing. She wants listeners to know there's a different way. You can step out of that system, trust your body again, and move toward real, lasting health. Because healing doesn't come from the outside in—it comes from within.
