Do you know your worth? It's a big question to grapple with, but how you answer it can impact more than you may realize. You may answer differently depending on how you grew up, experiences that you've had, or people you have known that have influenced how you see yourself, for better or worse. The truth is, there is only one measure by which we can know our true worth, and one voice that cuts through the noise of the world to remind us of our immeasurable worth: the voice of God. Join us as we explore the story of a woman who went from being nameless in Scripture, to being called Daughter by the Lord himself. You'll be encouraged as you are reminded of how much God loves you, and learn how knowing your worth in Christ can change everything. Hosted by Summer Shore and Melissa Campbell. In a culture that measures our "worth by our work and identity by our productivity", the idea of rest might seem counterintuitive. But constantly living that way can leave us feeling empty and exhausted, and pull us further away from God. In this episode we'll chat with our new friend, Hester Christensen as she shares her journey of grounding her identity in Christ by resting in God. You'll be encouraged and refreshed as we dive into scripture to remember who God is and His heart for us. If you've been feeling burned out lately, this episode is an open invitation to sit with us for a bit, experience God's love through His Word, and rest in Him as his beloved daughter. Hosted by Summer Shore and Melissa Campbell. Music by Nathaniel Rodrigues A little about Hester: Hester lives in the Pacific Northwest and loves the great outdoors. What does it truly mean to know who you are in Christ? Join us for an inspiring conversation with missionary Lynsey Horton as she shares how embracing her identity in Jesus has shaped her calling, strengthened her faith, and sustained her through both the joys and challenges of ministry. In this episode, Lynsey shares how identity in Christ is a universal longing that she has witnessed in cultures around the world, and how those deepest longings are ultimately fulfilled in Christ alone. Whether you're serving in ministry, discerning God's calling for your life, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of your identity in Christ, this conversation will encourage you to rest in the truth that your value is not found in what you do, but in whose you are.
