We are so excited today to have our friend Debbie Alsdorf on the podcast today! Join us for an honest conversation where Debbie shares the story of how she discovered her identity in Christ, the scriptures and biblical truths she leans on to keep her grounded there, and the joys of getting to share those truths now with women all over the nation. Debbie is the real deal and knows what it's like to walk through hard things. You'll be encouraged and even more confident in God's love for you, no matter what you're facing.  A little more about Debbie: Debbie is a best-selling author, national speaker and women's ministry leader who is known by many as a cheerleader of hope. Her mission is to help women live a better story by leading them to the heart of God's love and the truth of His Word.  She has been featured on Focus on the Family, 700 Club, The Today Show and other nationally syndicated broadcasts. She is one of the featured Bible Teachers on the Aspire Women's Tour and is a Literary Agent with Books and Such Literary Management, where being a champion for others is one of her greatest joys. Debbie and her husband Ray have raised a blended family of four children who have blessed them with ten grandchildren who affectionately call her Grammy, Grams or Graham Cracker. She loves a good Grammy dance party, anything sun and sand and a good chocolate donut.  Hosted by Summer Shore and Melissa Campbell. Do you know your worth? It's a big question to grapple with, but how you answer it can impact more than you may realize. You may answer differently depending on how you grew up, experiences that you've had, or people you have known that have influenced how you see yourself, for better or worse. The truth is, there is only one measure by which we can know our true worth, and one voice that cuts through the noise of the world to remind us of our immeasurable worth: the voice of God. Join us as we explore the story of a woman who went from being nameless in Scripture, to being called Daughter by the Lord himself. You'll be encouraged as you are reminded of how much God loves you, and learn how knowing your worth in Christ can change everything. Hosted by Summer Shore and Melissa Campbell. In a culture that measures our "worth by our work and identity by our productivity", the idea of rest might seem counterintuitive. But constantly living that way can leave us feeling empty and exhausted, and pull us further away from God.  In this episode we'll chat with our new friend, Hester Christensen as she shares her journey of grounding her identity in Christ by resting in God. You'll be encouraged and refreshed as we dive into scripture to remember who God is and His heart for us.  If you've been feeling burned out lately, this episode is an open invitation to sit with us for a bit, experience God's love through His Word, and rest in Him as his beloved daughter.  Hosted by Summer Shore and Melissa Campbell. Music by Nathaniel Rodrigues A little about Hester: Hester lives in the Pacific Northwest and loves the great outdoors. She and her husband, David, have 3 young adult sons and a very spoiled goldendoodle. She is an author and speaker, and has served in pastoral ministry for 30 years within the areas of youth, women's and discipleship ministries. She received her bachelor's in Christian Education at Boise Bible College and Bible and her Master's in Bible and Theology from Lincoln Christian University. Hester authored several Bible studies, including "Fake? Living Christlike in a Counterfeit Culture, a 6-week bible study, four new 21-Day devotionals, as well as co-authoring Greater Than a Superhero. For those of you who love Hallmark, Hester co-authored devotions for the Hallmark mini-series, When Calls the Heart, seasons 1-8. Hester is a kindred spirit who seeks to inspire others to experience the living God and equip women to fully embrace their identity in Christ. We've all experienced moments in life when we've been hurt by something unfair or unjust. When faced with conflict and injustice in the world, or in our own lives, how are we called to respond? In today's episode, we'll explore how we can experience freedom from bitterness and anger when we trust in God and anchor our identity in Christ. You'll hear real-life stories of how God has worked in our past, find some encouragement and solidarity from King David in Psalm 37, and be reminded that you are seen and loved by the God who makes justice shine like the dawn.
