When sickness is going around, we are prepped and ready with tinctures, teas, creams, and lots of prayer! On this week's episode, I discuss protocols we take in our home at the first sign of sickness as well as things we do for our overall wellness. If you are looking for a change and are tired of round trips from your house to the doctor and back again... then grab a notebook and write some of these tips/practices down! My prayer is for people to gain a better understanding behind the importance of fueling our bodies and putting our faith in God to heal us from any every sickness that may try to come our way. Healthy bodies are great for Goodlivin'!Please note that this is not medical advice.
We are back this week to continue our conversation about areas within the body of Christ that are often overlooked and misunderstood-- it is time for a mindset shift and for the Bible to be the foundation in which we build and grow upon. Family is the core of who we are. It's how we thrive, multiply, and create new life. At the beginning of time, God knew it wasn't good for man to be alone... and here we are thousands of years later. How has society come to a place where parenthood, marriage, and maturity have been placed on the back burner and traded for vain pursuits? Join us this episode, to unpack the answers to these questions, and to expose the lie that we have chosen to fall for. Family matters, and it is time to establish and encourage believers to build and steward strong families, healthy homes, and thriving marriages. Revival is in the family, and good families need some, you guessed it... Goodlivin'!
How often have you heard sermons/teachings about health and wellness as it pertains to our spiritual health? What about emphasizing the importance of Godly order in our homes to build healthy family dynamics and relationships? How about Biblical stewardship of your finances and self-control going hand-in-hand? Often times, the things we deem as "less" spiritual are usually the MOST important things in our lives that we meet face to face each and every day. Yes, they may seem obvious, necessary, and practical, but they are some of the most challenging spiritual disciplines for the Western church (especially) to establish and maintain. It is time for believers to step out of the ignorance boat, and jump onto the ship of awareness and awakening. The best place to find these answers is on the pages of the living, breathing Word of God. Join my husband Cody and I as we share our experiences regarding these topics, and what the Bible has to say about their nature, future impact, and importance. "Food" is the hot topic of this episode, so stay tuned for future episodes about finances & family. Sit back, get ready, and make way for some Goodlivin'!
And just like that... 2025 is over! A new year is coming, which means we have another opportunity to set some goals, make some changes, and establish healthier, better habits for 2026. Join me this week as I share 10 habits I am bringing into the new year! Some I have successfully practiced and want to continue with, while others are disciplines I have yet to establish. If you are ready to make a change, take that first step of surrender, or if you are just looking for some realistic guidelines for better habits, I encourage you to tune in this week to bring Goodlivin' in 2026! Let's move forward together! Please bear with me as I navigate the sound quality/background noise, etc.!
Join me this week as I share the stories of my hospital and home births. In this episode, I discuss the ups and downs with each experience (hint hint, there weren't any downs at one), the learning curves, the "won't do agains", the amazing people involved, and the overall beauty and wonder of childbirth. There is a spiritual and physical war against the lives of children, born and unborn. I believe it is so important in this time to encourage and remind women that God created our bodies so uniquely and gave us the miraculous ability to carry, birth, and raise children. If you are on the fence, I encourage you to listen in and hop on over. Get ready for another episode of Goodlivin'!
