Self-abandonment is the core wound keeping you stuck in patterns of playing small, feeling never enough, and struggling in relationships. You weren't born fragmented - you learned to cut off parts of yourself to stay safe and loved as a child. The solution isn't more self-improvement; it's reclaiming your wholeness.This episode reveals why self-abandonment - not the original childhood wounds - is what's running your life now. Most mantras fail because they try to control your circumstances and other people instead of bringing you back to yourself. If your mantra leaves you exhausted or gaslighting your real experience, this is why—and here's the ONE rule that changes everything.Often, we choose mantras, affirmations, or phrases to get more of what we want, like "peaceful home" and then we get frustrated when nothing changes. My theory is that this is because we're trying to control things that we have little control over. Often, we're imposing expectations on people who didn't agree to them (and probably can't meet them anyway). Judgments aren't the problem—rejecting parts of yourself is. Every judgment you have is showing you exactly what you've disowned and pushed into shadow.
