Jenna Goldring is the founder and CEO of the low-dose edible brand The High Confectionary. Before she launched her brand, Goldring spent the beginning of her career in ad sales. As she worked her way up to the VP level, she learned about the advertising nuances for highly regulated brands, such as those in the cannabis category. Goldring realized the cannabis industry was excluding consumers like herself: busy women who enjoyed taking edibles to wind down but didn’t want to feel out of control. After learning  there was a need for low-dose edibles in the cannabis market, she launched The High Confectionary in 2021. Under Goldring’s leadership, The High Confectionery continues to grow its reach and has recently partnered with Broma Bakery’s Sarah Fennel to expand the product line into low-dose chocolates.
Pati Dubroff is one of the most coveted makeup artists in the business with a portfolio full of iconic imagery—from Britney Spears's Circus album cover in 2008 to Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's Got Milk? ad from 2004. More recently, we've been closely following her work with Margot Robbie on the Barbie and Wuthering Heights press tours. Priscilla Tsai is the CEO and founder of the skincare brand Cocokind. Before she started her company, Tsai worked on Wall Street as an equity research analyst. She had always wanted to be an entrepreneur, and after years of feeling isolated by the beauty industry due to her acne and sensitive skin, she decided to start her own skincare brand. In 2014, Tsai left her finance career to start Cocokind with the goal of developing simple products that felt like a prestige experience at an accessible price point. The brand quickly gained traction on social media and developed a loyal customer base. Then, in 2019, Target began stocking Cocokind products. A few years later, in 2022, Cocokind launched in Ulta Beauty as well. Today, Cocokind’s products are available at every Target and Ulta in the United States, as well as having a huge retail presence at Whole Foods.
This week, Hillary Kerr hosts Evereve co-founder Megan Tamte and Who What Wear's Executive Editorial and Style Director Lauren Eggertsen to delve into the results of Evereve’s national fashion survey. Evereve, a fast-growing womenswear retailer based in Minnesota, offers its own collection alongside 150+ brands across more than 100 stores nationwide and online. Tamte and the Evereve team conducted a survey to understand the real problems women face when shopping and getting dressed, and she’s sharing the results with us today. Monica Dinsmore is the head of esports at EA, or Electronic Arts. Before working in gaming, Dinsmore worked in the tech industry during the dot-com boom of the late 1990s and then transitioned into finance for nearly 15 years. She then pivoted to the gaming industry with a move to Riot Games, working on League of Legends and eventually working her way up to head of publishing for esports Europe. After realizing her passion for the esports world, she got an opportunity to move to EA, known for its real-life sports titles like Madden NFL, and ultimately became the head of esports. Since Dinsmore arrived at EA, the company has broken engagement records for its esports brands. Today, she’s been in the esports world for over a decade and continues to find innovative ways to expand the industry and reach new audiences.

Jessie Randall is the cofounder and chief creative officer of the global lifestyle brand Loeffler Randall. Before she started her company, Randall began her career in advertising but, after a few years, made the leap into the fashion industry. Starting from scratch as an intern at Katayone Adeli, while also taking fashion classes, she then transitioned to Banana Republic, working as a junior designer. However, in 2005, alongside her husband, she decided to start her own footwear company, which quickly garnered recognition and expanded beyond shoes into the global success it is today. In 2007, she was awarded the CFDA Swarovski Award for Accessory Design, and in 2022, British Vogue dubbed the brand's Camellia heel “one of the best-selling bridal shoes in the world.” Currently, Loeffler Randall products are sold worldwide across retailers such as Nordstrom and Bergdorf Goodman as well as in its own digital and physical retail stores.

Kahlana Barfield Brown is the founder of her namesake clothing brand, KBB by Kahlana. Before she became a designer, she was an icon in the editorial world. Her career started at InStyle, where she worked her way up from intern to the publication’s first-ever beauty and fashion editor at large. Her work steering the outlet’s coverage earned her widespread recognition, including the title of Editor of the Year from Harlem’s Fashion Row. She led the outlet for a decade before leaving in 2018 to build her personal brand online in the fashion space. Brown made the leap from reporter to designer in 2022, when Target tapped her to be the first designer for the Future Collective—the company’s first-ever creator-led fashion line. After her first collection sold out quickly, Brown decided to partner with the company again to launch her own brand, KBB, exclusively with the chain. Her designs continue to be wildly successful, as Target plans to expand her collection to over 500 locations nationwide this year.

Jenn Lueke, aka Jenn Eats Good, is a culinary creator, recipe developer, and newly anointed cookbook author. She started her now-famous Instagram account while she was in college studying business, finance, and entrepreneurship. During her undergrad, she interned in several related fields that gave her a three-dimensional view of how to bootstrap a business—from market research to angel investing. She pursued a career in finance post-grad, working at the Silicon Valley Bank, where she learned crucial administrative skills in a corporate setting, all while posting original recipes she’d developed while navigating her personal journey with food and nutrition. Lueke finally decided to pursue content creation full-time shortly after she went viral for her “budget grocery” series. Her understanding of finance and money paired well with her simple approach to nutrition, making her a great resource for beginner chefs looking to improve their diets on a budget. Now, she’s taken the next step in her culinary career with her debut cookbook, Don’t Think About Dinner.

Alison Roman is a food writer, cookbook author, and overall culinary powerhouse. Roman's food career began when she dropped out of college to pursue her dream of working as a chef. She started out as a sous-chef for various restaurants before pivoting into food writing and recipe development. Roman joined us on the show in 2020 to tell us about her path to getting published at outlets like Bon Appétit, Buzzfeed, and The New York Times as well as authoring her first cookbook, Dining In. Since being on the show, Roman has published three more cookbooks, the latest of which is called Something From Nothing, and started her own newsletter. She's also ventured into the consumer packaged goods space with the launch of her own tomato sauces and opened her own small grocery store, First Bloom. Carla Rockmore is a fashion influencer and designer. She began her career in retail before transitioning into the design department, utilizing fundamental skills acquired during her fashion trade school education. Rockmore developed her creative vision across categories, designing everything from ladies’ dresses for high-end department stores to licensed children’s sleepwear for Disney. She pivoted into content creation during the pandemic, when she found herself in need of a creative outlet while all of her projects were on hold. Her career online started in her fifties, posting TikTok videos of herself getting ready in hopes of teaching other women how to express themselves through clothing. Before she knew it, Rockmore was dubbed “the Carrie Bradshaw of TikTok” and quickly became a fashion authority known for her iconic two-story closet. Today, she has almost two million followers, and she does it all while continuing her work as a designer with her clothing line, the Carla Rockmore Collection, which you can shop now on QVC.

Priyanka Ganjoo is the founder and CEO of Kulfi Beauty, but her first job was in business consulting. She was drawn to the role because she loved working with people and solving problems, but she knew she hadn’t found her true calling yet. Her pivot into beauty came after she got her MBA. She started in corporate, managing global retail strategy for Estée Lauder, and later transitioned into the merchandising space when Ipsy hired her to run its Glam Bag program. It was there that Ganjoo learned how to create experiences with her customer in mind by personalizing packages for millions. But as a South Asian woman, she found herself underrepresented in the brands she would source for her Glam Bags. She decided to start Kulfi to honor her heritage and create space for people and her culture. A year after launching the brand, Kulfi became the first South Asian female-owned brand to be carried at Sephora.

Over the last two decades, Fisher was named a finalist for the 2012 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, was crowned the "queen of hoops" by The New York Times, and has counted celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez and Hailey Bieber among her clientele. She's also sharing the ways she's expanding her empire—from new retail locations to her cookbook, Trust Your Gut, to her lifestyle brand, Maedyn.
Andrea Beaty is an award-winning children’s author. Before she became known for her curious and clever characters in Rosie Revere, Engineer, and Ada Twist, Scientist, she was on track for a career in STEM. In college, Beaty studied biology and computer science, and then went on to work at a software company. Her start in writing came when she volunteered to write a tech support newsletter for a customer audience. The job helped Beaty hone her skills as a writer and copy editor years before she decided to try her hand at fiction. She started by writing stories inspired by the books she read to her kids before getting published in the 2000s. Since then, Beaty’s work has landed her on the New York Times Best Sellers list multiple times and has even been adapted into an award-winning Netflix animated series. She often credits her time as a technical writer as what gave her the skills to break down big concepts and life lessons for kids. Now, more than 20 years after her first book was written, Beaty shows no signs of slowing down with more stories on the way this year.
