It was a great weekend to be a Lion of Old ET, lets see what this weekend looks like. Football, Volleyball, Men's Golf, Cross Country and Soccer all take huge wins going forward to this weekend's Homecoming festivities.
Lion Football drops another game they should have won, while Lion Soccer and Volleyball are in the thick of the SLC hunt for conference rank. Cross Country teams have a chance to put trophies in their trophy case this weekend......and there is a question asked.....Will Clint Dolezel make it to next season after a disasterous loss? Can he recover and save his job?
Lion Soccer is undefeated in conference play, Volleyball gets a huge win in the midst of struggles, Men's Golf performs well in Arkansas, Men's and Women's Basketball Schedules are released, and Lion Football faces their toughest test this year with a lot on the line.
After another frustrating loss, the Lions look to start conference play against a Northwestern State team that is looking to bounce back to their Southland Glory Days after some rough years. Soccer, Volleyball, and Cross Country are all discussed and the sudden closure of Hunt Regional Hosptial in Commerce causes a lot of concern and consternation for the community and the University.

Brian dedicates the first part of the podcast as he addresses the recent tragic events of the past week with school shooting in Colorado, the murder of a conservative speaker on a college campus, and the hateful rhetoric and violence. The second part is dedicated to fall sports update, a matchup in football with Grambling and how this is the best chance to start the season back in the right direction, and Southland Conference Power rankings.
