Send us a textVedas are the most ancient religious scriptures of Hinduism. They are A-purusheya, which means they have not been created by any Human. These Vedas appeared in front of our sages, and they, compiled them. As we all know, there are a total of four Vedas, namely, Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda and Atharvaveda. But, initially there were only three Vedas. Atharvaveda was not a part of this set. It, afterwards, got included into the list. But how did that happen? Well, our Puranas include an interesting story, about Atharvaveda’s inclusion, into the four Vedas.  Support the show This is a public episode.
