Consistency feels so hard sometimes, and why motivation alone will never be enough to keep you going.
Iām sharing the mindset shifts that helped me reset when I realized I wasnāt showing up the way I wanted to in my health, habits, and discipline. Weāre also talking about the belief that so many people carry: āI just donāt have self-discipline.ā
What if that belief isnāt actually true?
If youāve ever felt stuck in your routine, frustrated with your progress, or like youāre constantly starting over, this conversation will help you shift your perspective and start moving forward again.
We also talk about how faith, identity, and the way we think about ourselves can shape the habits we build every day.
You donāt need perfect motivation to change your life.
Sometimes you just need a reset.
Weāre getting honest about the tension so many of us feel, marriage, motherhood, ministry, and trying to keep our hearts healthy in the middle of it all.
This isnāt a highlight reel conversation. Itās real stories, real growth, and the lessons God has been teaching us behind the scenes. We talk about:
⨠Navigating conflict in marriage without losing connection
⨠Raising kids while staying grounded in faith
⨠The pressure to ādo it allā, and why balance looks different every season
⨠Protecting your family while still walking in your calling
⨠What it really means to stay flexible when life doesnāt go as planned
If youāve ever felt stretched thin or unsure how to hold everything together, youāre not alone. My prayer is that these conversations help you slow down, breathe, and feel encouraged right where you are.

Iām answering your questions while sharing whatās really helped me reset this season, from postpartum weight loss and training goals to building discipline, momentum, and habits that actually stick. Weāre talking about why motivation fades, how consistency is built through daily reps, and the mindset shift that makes real change possible. I also share what Iām currently training for, how I structure my habits, and why waiting to āfeel readyā is often what keeps us stuck.
Todayās episode is extra special because I have my first ever in-person guest⦠my mom, Debbie Anderson (aka āMimiā if you go to our church) and we went everywhere in the best way.
We talk about the fear of man, that constant background noise of āwhat are people thinking?ā and āam I being misunderstood?ā, and my mom shares the kind of wisdom that genuinely stopped a thought pattern Iād been stuck in. If youāve been hesitating to do something you feel God is asking you to do (podcast, fitness journey, motherhood, business, ministry⦠literally anything), this is for you.
We also get into my momās story: how her relationship with Jesus became real, how worship became the foundation of her life, and how being planted in a church community shaped our entire family. And yes⦠we take a little detour into her wellness eras and why sheās basically the queen of trying every āhealthy habitā trend known to mankind.
Iāve been meaning to make this episode forever because I get sooo many questions about my pregnancy, while I was pregnant, postpartum, and honestly just from sharing my life online. So today weāre doing it: all things pregnancy with my first baby, Elsie.
Iām taking you all the way back to the beginning, because if youāve followed me for a while, you know I was not the āIāve always dreamed of being a momā girl. Like⦠I dreaded babysitting. š And then one day, it literally hit me out of nowhere: I want to have a baby.
In this episode Iām sharing:
the mindset shift I didnāt expect
trying to get pregnant + what that was like emotionally
how I found out I was pregnant (and how we told our families)
my trimester breakdown: the good, the hard, the gross, the real
cravings, sickness, skin stuff, weight gain, back pain⦠all of it
what I want to do differently before baby #2 (strength, habits, Hyrox, the whole thing)
Also, quick note: I know this topic can be tender. If youāre walking through infertility, loss, or waitingāmy heart is with you. Please take care of yourself as you listen.
If you have more questions after this, DM me. And if youāre watching on YouTube, leave a comment with what you want me to talk about next (birth story episodeā¦?? š).
Iām sharing whatās been on my heart as we head into a new year, and why my word for this year is consistency. For years, I set goals, got motivated, went āall inā⦠and then burned out or started over. What Iāve learned (the hard way) is that real change doesnāt come from intensity or motivation, it comes from repetition, discipline, and showing up consistently, even when itās boring or uncomfortable. You donāt need a perfect plan, you need simple, repeatable actions done consistently. My prayer is that this encourages you to take the pressure off, lean into discipline with grace, and trust that small daily decisions truly compound over time. Iād love to hear from you. Iām joined by Kendra Falslev, one of the coaches on my team, a personal trainer, a teacher, and someone who truly understands what it means to balance real life while prioritizing your health.
We talk honestly about why so many of us get stuck in the cycle of starting over, especially around the New Year, and why the all-or-nothing mindset keeps us from seeing real change. Kendra shares her perspective from coaching clients, teaching full-time, and navigating her own fitness journey, and together we break down what sustainable progress actually looks like.
This conversation is all about starting small, letting go of perfection, and learning how to keep going even when life gets messy. If youāre tired of constantly resetting, feeling behind, or thinking youāve āfailed,ā this episode will help you shift your mindset, simplify your approach, and move forward with confidence into 2026.
If youāre ready to stop starting over and finally get unstuck, this episode is for you.
For years, I felt stuck, and I didnāt even fully realize why. In this pilot episode of Unstuck with Caitlyn Licerio, Iām sharing my story, why I started this podcast, and what finally changed after years of starting over. I spent a long time stuck in the same cycle: getting motivated, falling off, feeling frustrated with myself, and wondering why change never seemed to last. I tried willpower, plans, discipline, and ādoing moreā ā but nothing created real freedom. In 2023, while preparing my body and life for a new season, something shifted. Not all at once, and not in a dramatic moment, but in a way that finally made forward movement feel sustainable. In this episode, I talk about: - Why I chose the name Unstuck - The patterns that kept showing up in my life - What I misunderstood about change for years - And the practices that helped me move forward instead of starting over I also share five practical ways to approach any season where you feel stuck ā whether itās your health, habits, mindset, relationships, or direction in life. This podcast isnāt about having everything figured out. Itās about learning how to move differently when youāre tired of circling the same mountain. If youāve ever felt stuck in a season of your life and wondered why nothing seems to change, this conversation is for you.
