Nick Padovani opens his heart and shares his testimony of discovering the grace of God, then nearly losing it in his efforts to please God, and how the Lord joyfully set him free from the bondage of religion. In the midst of this story, a word of encouragement is woven together that addresses several movements throughout the body of Christ—from the “prayer” and “prophetic” movements, to the “grace” movement.
Pastor Nick shares about an incredible experience where he visited with pastors and leaders of the underground house church of China. In the midst of it all, the Lord gave an incredible revelation about the centrality of the grace movement and the future of world missions, including the fulfillment of some old prophecies about China’s role in bringing the Gospel all the way back to Jerusalem.
We often hear about the importance of staying in our “first love” and keeping our oil burning and our love for Christ fervent. This is usually based on the scripture where Jesus tells the church of Ephesus in Revelation that they’ve left their “first love.” If the Ephesian church could fall from their first love, not that long after it was established by the apostle Paul and pastored by his disciple Timothy, it could surely happen to us as well. But what does this really mean? This message explores this issue and in the process unearths some exhilarating things about the grace of God and living a focused life in the finished work of Jesus.
