Who doesn't like listening to music during a good writing session? Not me, I know that's for sure! But, from my years of experience, I've learned that music can be either very productive and enrich my writing, or quite the opposite and effect my writing in the most LEAST productive way. In this episode, we go over the positives and negatives of music and how we can use it in the best ways to better our writing and increase the utilization of the free resource to our advantage. Thank you, musicians, composers, and ALL involved in creating music. Your efforts and hard work are much acknowledged and MUCH appreciated!
On this special episode, I sit down with my musician, artist, father and my Husband, Jacob Scott, to talk about how to support your dreamer as well as find your own dreams and validate that you too should be supported in whatever dream you decide to pursue.
Whether your 31 days in or 6 months into the new year, it's never too late to start. There is no certain day to have your first day one. In today's episode, I talk about the steps I took in order to finish writing my book and the things I learned to keep me going and help me stay consistent.
Jealousy is an emotion that arises when we perceive a threat to something we value, relationships, possessions, or status. For years, jealousy kept me rotting in the same place with no progress and never a new page written. It was until I realized that jealousy could be a tool to help me grow furiously and amplify my progress in finishing my book TREMENDOUSLY! Jealousy does not define you and you character. You are not a mean or ugly person just because you are jealous. In today's episode, we talk about jealousy and the MANY ways it can helps us become a better writer, learner, and even a better human being to those around us.
"Manifesting is mentally training for getting what you want." - Mel Robbins In today's episode we're going to be talking about how take yourself serious as a writer, because that's who you are and who you want to be! Your dreams are nothing to be ashamed of and true fact, the more that the RIGHT kind of people know what you are pursuing, the more LIKELY you are to achieving that dream. We'll learn the steps to take, that I learned from Mel Robbins, together as well as who to tell, how to announce it, and definitely who NOT to tell that can jeopardize you achieving it ENTIRELY!
Let's reframe writer's block in a way that doesn't keep you down and thinking you're just lazy.

Welcome, Writers! To The Divine Writer's Block Podcast! I'm super thrilled to have you hear and as I mentioned in my substacks, this is a podcast I started back in 2024 and then just dipped... *crickets chirping*  I really did.  I felt like there was no traction, so I just hopped off. I'm a waaaay different person now, so I'm coming back with more episodes and more knowledge that will help you through your writing journey. Telling you off the bat, this isn't one of those catchy podcasts with music and sounds. I don't have the budget for that yet. Just want to focus on sharing my information. So... Let's get into it!
