Lance Palmer is one of the most accomplished wrestlers to ever come out of Ohio. A four time Ohio State Champion for St. Edward High School, Palmer became the first wrestler in school history to win four state titles and one of the most dominant wrestlers the state has ever produced. His success continued at Ohio State University where he became a Big Ten Champion, four time NCAA All-American, and NCAA finalist.After college, Palmer transitioned into professional fighting and quickly became one of the top featherweights in the sport. He captured two World Series of Fighting titles and later won two Professional Fighters League championships, building a career as one of the most successful wrestlers to cross over into MMA.In this episode of The Dynasty Effect Podcast, Palmer discusses his journey through the legendary St. Edward wrestling program, the pressure and expectations that came with chasing four state titles, and what it took to compete at the highest levels of college wrestling.
