An ode to common sense, and a look at the great lengths some go to fool those who ignore common sense.
The third and final critique of William Polk's book, 'Crusade and Jihad: The Thousand-Year War between the Muslim World and the Global North.'
In his book, 'Crusade and Jihad: The Thousand-Year War between the Muslim World and the Global North,' William Polk argues that the colonial era is the source of all problems between Islam and the West -- including terrorism. Here we examine and rebut this claim. This video is essentially Part 2 of a review of his book.
A review of the 2018 book, Crusade and Jihad, by William Polk. Although the book's subtitle is "The Thousand-Year War between the Muslim World and the Global North," it -- rather bizarrely -- essentially ignores the first thousand years. The video explains why.
What do we make of all those men -- who, while walking like and acting like, Muslim terrorists -- the media insists are actually "Christian" terrorists? Even before the truth came out, I wrote the following two articles on the two cases mentioned in this video (one from England, one from France), providing more evidence and arguments that the terrorists were Muslims all along: https://www.raymondibrahim.com/08/07/2024/the-truth-about-the-muslim-murderer-of-three-british-children https://www.raymondibrahim.com/06/09/2023/five-reasons-why-the-christian-child-stabber-in-france-may-really-be-muslim
Islam gets criticized for so many things; however, it's important for non-Muslims to differentiate between those many doctrines that affect Muslims only, and those much fewer doctrines -- three to be exact -- that affect the non-Muslim. It is only the latter (hate, jihad, and dhimmitude) that should ultimately concern the non-Muslim. Some articles with references to the doctrine of Love and Hate (or Loyalty and Enmity): https://www.raymondibrahim.com/01/17/2020/hating-and-loving-for-islam https://www.raymondibrahim.com/01/19/2016/hating-americans-is-official-saudi-and-qatari-policy https://www.raymondibrahim.com/09/18/2013/muslim-husbands-must-hate-non-muslim-wives Excerpts and analysis of ISIS's message to the West, "Why We Hate You & Why We Fight You: https://www.raymondibrahim.com/08/18/2016/confirmed-islam-not-grievances-fuels-muslim-hate-for-the-west
A response to Karen Armstrong's claim that the Crusaders were the first Christian group in history to demonize Muhammad as a way to justify the First Crusade. My original written response (from 2007), as well as a link to Armstrong's article, here: https://www.raymondibrahim.com/05/07/2007/islamic-apologetics
A response to a ludicrous claim made by Georgetown professor, John Esposito, a widely acknowledged "expert" on Islam who is regularly consulted by U.S. intelligence and military agencies.
One year ago today, the Islamic State issued a directive for its followers and sympathizers to "kill the infidels wherever you find them" (Koran 9:5) -- including by plowing vehicles over them, especially on celebratory days, such as New Year's Day. Longer excerpts from the ISIS statement referenced appear here: https://www.raymondibrahim.com/03/04/2024/islamic-state-calls-for-beheading-and-burning-of-every-western-civilian
The true, documented story of a dragon that plagued the island of Rhodes as late as the 14th century -- until the Crusader Knights of St. John turned their attention to it.
If Saladin was just as bad as every sultan, why did the West chose to extol him as a paragon of virtue? A follow-up or Part 2 to "The Fake History of Saladin."
How modern historians twist the truth about Saladin to make Christians look bad and Muslims look good.
A look at how the Fake Media employ Fake History to demonize those who, like Pete Hegseth, like the Crusades.
An answer to Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett's questions: "You tell me which white man was dragged out of their homes! You tell me which one of them got dragged all the way across an ocean and told that you're gonna go to work! We're gonna steal your wives — we're gonna rape your wives. That didn't happen!"
