Description

I am a Japanese teacher in Singapore.

Struggling to improve your Japanese listening?

You watch Japanese dramas or anime, but end up reading subtitles instead of listening.
Native Japanese videos feel too fast. In many Japanese classes in Singapore, reading and writing come first, and even conversation practice doesn’t always help listening skills grow.

This podcast is for Japanese learners in Singapore.

I talk about everyday life in Singapore, travel, and Japan, using simple grammar, basic vocabulary, and a slow, clear speaking pace.
Japanese and English scripts are shared.

Getting concert tickets
is it about luck or being a true fan?It seems the way to get tickets is a little different in Japan and Singapore.Which system feels more fair to you? 🎫==Instagram & Note(Blog)==https://www.instagram.com/outsidejapclass/https://note.com/taitaijapclass==How to use the scripts=1.You can listen first and guess the meaning without the script.2.You can read the script while listening.3.You can also practise reading out loud with the audio. However there is no right or wrong way.You can also simply enjoy the content and listen to the podcast for fun.Just relax and enjoy the podcast==Japanese and English scripts==シンガポヌルに来おから、コンサヌトに行くようになりたした。Since coming to Singapore, I’ve started going to concerts.それはどうしおか。Why is that?シンガポヌルでは、日本よりチケットが取りやすいからです。Because in Singapore, it’s easier to get tickets than in Japan.日本では、YOASOBIやAdo、Mrs. GREEN APPLEなどの人気な人のチケットは、なかなか取れないそうです。In Japan, tickets for popular artists like YOASOBI, Ado, and Mrs. GREEN APPLE are very hard to get.もちろん、シンガポヌルも簡単に取れるわけではありたせん。Of course, it’s not easy to get tickets in Singapore either.それでも、なぜシンガポヌルの方が日本より取りやすいのでしょうか。Still, why is it easier in Singapore than in Japan?それは、チケットを買うシステムが違うからです。Because the system for buying tickets is different.たず、日本の話からしたしょう。Let me start with Japan.日本では、ファンクラブに入っおいる人が、先に申し蟌めるこずが倚いです。In Japan, people in fan clubs can often apply first.ファンクラブに入るには、お金がかかりたす。You need to pay money to join a fan club.だから、お金を払ったファンの人の方が、チケットを取りやすいです。So people who pay have a better chance to get tickets.぀たり、ファンクラブに入っおいないず、チケットはほずんど取れないずいうこずです。In other words, if you’re not in the fan club, it’s very hard to get tickets.䞀方で、シンガポヌルは違いたす。On the other hand, Singapore is different.チケットが売られる時間になるず、サむトにアクセスしたす。When tickets go on sale, you go to the website.そこで、順番を埅぀ための番号がもらえたす。Then you get a number to wait in line.その番号はランダムです。That number is random.番号が小さいず、早くチケットのペヌゞに入れたす。If your number is small, you can enter early.でも、番号が倧きいず、遅くなりたす。But if your number is big, you have to wait longer.その間に、チケットがなくなるこずもありたす。During that time, tickets can sell out.ここで倧事なのは、誰でも同じルヌルだずいうこずです。What’s important is that everyone follows the same rule.ファンクラブに入っおいおも、入っおいなくおも、同じです。It doesn’t matter if you are in a fan club or not.倧ファンの人も、ちょっず興味がある人も、同じスタヌトです。Big fans and casual fans start from the same point.そういう意味では、平等だなず思いたす。In that sense, I feel it’s fair.運がよければ、誰でもチケットを買うこずができたす。If you’re lucky, anyone can get tickets.では、倧ファンの人はどう感じるでしょうか。But how do big fans feel?長い間応揎しおいる人は、ファンクラブにお金を払っおいるのに、運がないだけでチケットが買えないのは、玍埗できないかもしれたせん。People who have supported for a long time may feel it’s unfair if they can’t get tickets just because of luck.私のように、ちょっず行っおみたい人でもチケットが買えるのは、平等じゃないず思う人もいるかもしれたせん。Some people may feel it’s not fair that someone like me, who is just curious, can get a ticket.確かに、そうかもしれたせんね。That may be true.どちらのシステムがいいのかは、人の考え方によっお倉わるず思いたす。Which system is better depends on how you think.皆さんは、どちらがいいず思いたすか。Which do you prefer?
