After six years of hard work, Neil Macdonald’s book ELSEWHERE is hot off the presses and on our shelves. Neil’s creation chronicles the story of UK skateboarding from 1987 to 2002, a tale which is told by the voices of the people who were there. The latest episode of “Listen In" is a conversation with Jahmir Brown. We connected with one of Philadelphia’s favourite sons via our “First & Last” interview format. Leaning on this series of questions, we were able to hone in on key moments in Jahmir’s story and discuss their significance. We were also able to speak about his current reality days after he cut the ribbon for the newly reopened MUNI, a space dedicated to skateboarding, with the blessing of the city.
