Description
Welcome to the Just Yappin’ Podcast, hosted by WeTooDeep — where there’s no script, no set topics, and no subject matter off limits. This is straight off-the-dome conversation about whatever’s on the mind that day: culture, faith, life, wild takes, real talk, and everything in between.
Some episodes might be deep. Some might be funny. Some might be a little unhinged — but it’s always real. And you never know where the conversation’s going, because neither does the host.
Plus, listeners get to be part of the show. Fans can send in questions through the WeTooDeep Discord, and WeTooDeep will tackle them live on the mic.
New episodes drop every Friday.
No filters. No limits. Just yappin’.

This week WeTooDeep is back doing what he does best—yappin’.I kick things off with my Top 5 Movie FranchisesThen I run through my Top 5 individual movies of all timeFrom there I get into a bold claim: America takes every cuisine in the world and somehow makes it better. Whether that’s burritos, pizza, or barbecue, we argue that the U.S. perfects everything it touches.I also talk about the growing war with Iran, where U.S. and Israeli strikes have escalated into a wider regional conflict with retaliatory attacks and rising casualties across the Middle East. Finally, I close things out by ranting about therapy culture—why modern therapy might actually be making people more fragile instead of helping them deal with life.Movies, culture, politics, and some probably controversial opinions…Its me just yappin’.
In this episode, I’m yappin’ about exactly what it feels like the culture is built on right now: constant distractions. We kick things off by ranking U.S. presidents (because that never causes controversy), then I explain why the Olympics do absolutely nothing for me. From there, we get into the idea that when things start going sideways, the government suddenly needs a shiny new distraction… so naturally, insert aliens 👽.I also dive into the appeal of Candace Owens—why people gravitate toward her, what she taps into culturally, and why that matters. Finally, I rant a bit about atheism: why I genuinely struggle to understand it, and why I don’t think atheism actually exists in the way people claim it does.
In this episode:Debate is dead, small talk rules, and nobody actually wants a real conversation anymore. In this episode of Just Yappin, we dive into why arguing facts has been replaced by emotional gibberish, why the point of debate isn’t to change minds but to prove your point, and why most people run from depth in conversation. Grab a drink, buckle up, and let’s mourn the lost art of talking.

n this episode:We can be critical of a politician but we have to be fair. Stop being gullible!Stop with the propaganda.ICE did more deporting under Obama than Trump.Using AI in debates or arguments doesn’t disqualify the argument. AI as it sits is nothing more than a faster google.Do you agree with….1. Most people don’t actually want advice — they want validation.2. Nostalgia is just selective memory doing PR for the past.3. Comfort has become more important to people than truth.4. The phrase “protect your peace” is often used to avoid accountability.5. Being offended has become a social currency.6. People confuse confidence with competence way too often.7. Algorithms shape opinions more than education does.8. The internet rewards emotional reactions more than thoughtful ones.9. Most arguments online aren’t about the topic — they’re about ego.10. People romanticize struggle until they actually have to endure it.Respectfully… of courseSemi finalsQuestions from the Discord. As an adult now do you still like the snow like you did as a child or do you wish death upon it like me?Question submission for Just YAPPIN. My best question ever for you:with the MCU currently being set in like 2027 or so, what inhumane historic event can Magneto be apart of now that we are getting fairly far from WW2 days. Im not a fan of the slow aging theory, I think it lacks creativity. Magneto ideally would be between 50s and 60s years of age. I personally wouldn’t mind a Magneto thats more 40s to 50s . But since ur the historian and more politically knowledgeable of the two of us, what event would you use to substitute in for the Holocaust while still keeping true to the Magneto character?
In this episode:Meteorology must be the only job you can be wrong and still be trustedThe problem with building AI data centers. They don’t add anything to the economy. No offense to AI but the technology is awful in its current state. Which is why I don’t think it will ever take jobs away from people.Do you agree with….breakfast food is better for dinner than breakfast?most people don’t actually miss high school — they miss having no bills?orange juice tastes better at hotels for no logical reason?being “busy” is often just poor planningsports fans care more about being right than enjoying the game?the phrase “it’s not that deep” is usually said by someone avoiding the point?playlists say more about a person than their Instagram bio?most group chats would survive without half the members?fast food hits harder when you eat it in the car?silence makes people uncomfortable because it forces self-awareness?Deep CutICE/ and riotsRespectfully… of course3rd round matchupsQuestions from the Discord. How much money would it cost you to, ‘not sin’ but go against a moral? Is there a price tag? Like for example how much money would it cost for you to go to a strip club. Because I know as a god fearing man that you don’t like sex work and stuff like that. And while a strip club isnt sinful it could be morally wrong for some. So examples like that on breaking ur moralsWhat’s a business that you may morally want to succeed but because of bad service or business practices want to close down?Would you rather lose your leg or lose your arm?As of late I’ve seen people take scripture from the bible and quote it to fit their political agenda without its entirety of context of the whole chapter or what the writer was trying to say. What does Christian faith believe about those who do this?
In this episode:We Need to Bring Back Stigmatizing Negative Behavior. We have produced several generations of people who just need to be bullied or shamed. At least we need to bring back a social stigma for unacceptable behaviors.Mental illness aren’t actual illnessesLead to talking about why men don’t need a therapist, they need to do hard things.
