Duncan, Graeme and Blair sat down to cover the Rovers’ 2-1 defeat at Somerset Park. They ponder the set-up of both sides, the nature of all three goals, the impact of Dougie Imrie’s second half substitutes, and wonder what the dwindling hours of the January window, and indeed the rest of the season, might have in store. The Oh No No No podcast are proud to offer our full support to Andy’s Man Club. Having already beaten Queen's Park in the league, the penalty heroics of Josh Rae meant that Dougie Imrie's side progressed into the semi finals of the Challenge Cup at the expense of the Spiders. Robbie is joined by Allan, Blair and January transfer window signing Wayne Spence to talk through Tuesday night's game with a view to look ahead to Saturday's trip to Somerset Park and Ayr United. Should McStay or Should Dargo is also in the mix to keep yer lugholes filled. The Oh No No No podcast are proud to offer our full support to Andy’s Man Club. Duncan, Robbie and Greig get together to throw themselves at the feet of Jack Hamilton and beg for forgiveness. After weeks of increasingly stern criticism, Big Jack responded in the best possible way by knocking a hat-trick past Calum Ferrie in the Queen’s Park goal. The boys talk through the goals, the other Rovers who could’ve been contenders for man of the match, and why there’s suddenly significant grounds for optimism, alongside a healthy amount of early 2000s reality television chat. The Oh No No No podcast are proud to offer our full support to Andy’s Man Club. It's a return to league duty on Saturday in the first of Raith Rovers double headers against Queen's Park. Sean Crighton's Spiders have had a bizarre January where they've made it through one cup tie, and got knocked out of another only to potentially progress to a tie at Ibrox depending on a complaint.Robbie is joined by Blair and Scott to take a look at what to expect from the Glasgow side who have spent much of this transfer window trying to fend off any attention for hotshot forward Josh Fowler, before looking at what Rovers need to change following two difficult home defeats at Stark's. Should McStay or Should Dargo is to be expected.Unfortunately, there's a piece of media referenced following SMOSD which is no longer accessible! The Oh No No No podcast are proud to offer our full support to Andy’s Man Club. In a weekend of upsets, it wasn't to be as Dougie Imrie's Raith Rovers fell to a narrow 1-0 defeat up at Pittodrie. It wasn't all plain sailing for the Dons - a Jack Milne header saw them take an early lead but there was cause for optimism in the away support with before defensive mishaps and the occasional chance for the visitors.Robbie is joined by Leslie and Scott to talk through the game, some key faces returning before having a bit of a ponder over what Rovers can do in January to shake off the away day blues. The Oh No No No podcast are proud to offer our full support to Andy’s Man Club. Welcome back to the Oh No No No podcast. It's round four of the Scottish Cup this weekend with Dougie Imrie hoping to see if he can mastermind a recreation of one of the most memorable cup upsets of Rovers 21st century history with a visit to Pittodrie to face Aberdeen. With Jimmy Thelin recently departing, the Dons will be hoping for a quick start in their defence of the trophy. The last time the teams met in this competition, Gregory Tade fired into the roof of the net from two yards out - Leslie is joined by Carol and Greig to look ahead to Sunday's action!
Welcome back to the Oh No No No podcast. A frustrating afternoon in Kirkcaldy saw Rovers go in at half time 2-0 down for the second consecutive home league game as they played Arbroath. Despite a spirited comeback with a wonderstrike from Scott Brown and Josh Mullin's cool finish, it was the visitors who took home the three points with a goal from debutant Scott Robinson. Robbie is joined by Duncan and Blair have an honest chat about an afternoon of football and the current predicaments facing the Rovers. Duncan, Allan and Greig have drawn the shortest straws and sit down to cover all of the notable events from Saturday’s Fife derby. Neil Lennon’s Pars put a dampener on Kirkcaldy’s Christmas with a high risk/high reward set up, and Dougie Imrie’s bare bones Rovers couldn’t find the goals they needed to come back and take something after going in 2-0 down at half time. The Oh No No No podcast are proud to offer our full support to Andy’s Man Club. Having smashed the Staggies last weekend, it's a whole new challenge for Dougie Imrie and his Raith Rovers team who face a trip to Fortress Firhill. The Jags have an imperious home record in the league this season having won 5 and drawn 2 without reply. Robbie is joined by Blair and Allan to talk about an impressive league campaign from Mark Wilson's side, but also why there's every reason to have belief in the new free-scoring Rovers side. Should McStay or Should Dargo rounds us off! The Oh No No No podcast are proud to offer our full support to Andy’s Man Club. Duncan is joined by Blair and Scott for a rollicking recap of a 6-0 rout of Ross County. Dougie Imrie sprung a tactical trap that Tony Docherty’s men threw themselves into, ultimately costing their manager his job. The boys cover that formation choice, the standout performers across the Rovers squad, the key moments in each goal, and where Ross County might turn next in their quest for Championship survival. Storm Bram rolled through Scotland yesterday evening as Rovers delivered a deluge of goals to see off an exceptionally young Hamilton Accies side to progress to the last 16 of the Challenge Cup. Robbie is joined by Scott, Blair and (occasionally) Graeme to pick through the winners and losers of the game, before turning their attention to Saturday's home game against Ross County. Normally, we'd have done a SMOSD but Graeme, who had prepared the clues, was facing internet issues so it got canned! The Oh No No No podcast are proud to offer our full support to Andy’s Man Club. Dougie Imrie's first league match took Rovers up to a table topping St Johnstone who have been somewhat out of sorts by their own high standards. An assured and pragmatic performance saw the new manager lead the Kirkcaldy team to their first point in Perth since 2003 and while the home side dominated the possesion they failed to ever cause any meaningful issues for Josh Rae.Robbie is joined by Duncan and Allan to pick through the game and look at what positives can be taken from the trip to McDiarmid Park, before turning themselves towards Tuesday night's Challenge Cup tie against Scottish Football's least orthodox club in Hamilton Accies. The Oh No No No podcast are proud to offer our full support to Andy’s Man Club. With the festive period is ramping up, Rovers will make the trip north this weekend to face a St Johnstone side who you could forgive for not being the most cheerful. Contrary to the speculation (from tonight's host) we'd seen the champions elect following their win at Stark's earlier this season, Simo Valakari's Saints have toiled in their last couple of games which have seen Partick draw level on points and Cove knock them out the cup. Robbie is joined by Allan and Blair to look ahead to the game, and their thoughts on a positive start to the Dougie Imrie era. SMOSD happens too. The Imrie era is off and running with a professional display to see off Alloa Athletic as Raith Rovers progressed to the next round of Scottish Cup. Duncan is joined by Greig and Robbie to talk their reactions to the appoinment, their perspectives on the game, and their thoughts on the draw for the fourth round which will see Rovers travel up to Pittodrie to face Aberdeen. It was always going to take something special for the Rovers fan base to be more surprised that Scotland qualifying directly out their group for a World Cup, but it only took less than a week for that to happen. Less than 24 hours after Scott Burns had tweeted out that a sensational swoop was underway than a new man had taken charge at Stark's Park and it was one nobody predicted with Dougie Imrie signing a two and a half year deal with the club. Robbie is joined by Scott and Leslie to talk about the change in perception towards the new boss over the last year going from "can get tae f**k" to "get tae work", as they discuss his track record with the 'Ton, the engagement with the support and what the Rovers support can expect. There's a look ahead to Saturday's match up against League 1 high fliers Alloa in the Scottish Cup, before a geography disaster in Should McStay or Should Dargo.
