Welcome back to The Tragedy Bar. After a seemingly permanent hiatus, I've come back from the road for my longest episode yet with my dear friend and favorite client Jake Minch. Now a New York resident, we had the pleasure of chatting over CBD sodas which, if you listen all the way through, exposed our lack of tolerance as we got into music, substances, strangers, and always going back for one more (whatever that may be). I'm a little rusty so be gentle while listening. Cheers!
HAPPY LEAP YEAR MFS!! This episode we have Grey of the band Push Ups joining us, where we chat bald guys in Berlin, whether or not you should be inebriated before performing, living in Chicago and hating it, and why the gin martini (with a twist) is superior. Grey's "drink" of choice was weed, so get a little groovy this month and spark up, if you wish. Proust!
What's up everyone, we've made it through January 2024 (just barely). Obviously I did not partake in Dry Jan, but cheers to you if you did. This months guest, the one and only Brandon Shoop and I yap about a myriad of topics in the ep, including the El Prado hotdog, getting metaphorical chicks, Justin Beiber's weed smoking scandal, Entourage, and how I THINK it would make more sense if it was called Sunglasses Hut vs Sunglass Hut. Anyway, crack open a cold one and enjoy!
Hello again everyone and welcome back. This month's episode is getting us into the family/holiday spirit which is getting drunk with your said family. We have my younger sister Reesi on and honestly I think we did more laughing than talking. Crack open a cold one and listen along as we talk about first concerts, drinking in parking lots, Instagram Reels, and our Dad's rockstar lore (side note his birthday was the 20th so happy birthday to our Dad!) As always, cheers!
Welcome back to the most degenerate podcast in music. In this month's episode (coming back after 6 months of hibernation, not 3 as I so stupidly said in the podcast) we have X Factor icon and pop star extraordinaire Celine Del Carmen Factiming in from sunny Los Angeles, CA. Not even 2,795.2 miles could separate two girls who just want to have a bev and chat shit. We talk about beer, boys, her new single and the horrors of young adulthood coming back to haunt you, all under the influence of a ...
And we're back with a new episode; possibly my most drunk one yet. This month we have my good friend and fellow degenerate Ally Macdonald on. While drinking an entire bottle of Jameson, we get into his questionable DJing habits, Ice Spice, and more. If you want to play a fun drinking game that will give you alcohol poisoning, drink whenever either of us makes a shoutout. Cheers!
Happy February and welcome back to Tragedy Bar Jukebox (a month late). Pour up your beverage of choice and listen to me ramble about my top 50 albums of 2022. This is a solo mission and a long one so if you need to sip slowly I won't mind. If you agree or disagree, send me a message or try and physically fight me, both are appreciated, cheers!
Welcome back to the podcast that only a few of my friends listen to (big kisses guys). Fashionably late to the party is this months episode with the equally as fabulous Michael Incognito. We talk margaritas, marital affairs, and musical theater, all within the first 10 minutes. Whorton hears a WHO??? cheers and happy listening xx
Little late on this one, but who cares. This episode I have my good friend Cole Bauer on, where we continue to beat the dead horse that is talking about indie music, his days at Penn, people from New Zealand, and his journey from New York to Austin to LA and back again. Cheers and enjoy.
Slainte and hello again. After taking a one month hiatus, Tragedy Bar Jukebox is back with guests Gutes Guterman and Claire Banse, co-editors of New York's hottest biased news source, the Drunken Canal. On this episode, we sip on fernet and soda and look back on their recent Battle of the Bands which was made possible by Tribeca Fest, Pitchfork, and many nights spent scheming over a glass of wine (or three, who's counting). I was lucky enough to be apart of the production and if you weren't l...
Welcome back to Tragedy Bar Jukebox, the podcast where I force alcohol on my guests and we talk about music and stuff. This month's episode features our first ever real-live guest, rockstar, DJ, and aspiring YUNGBLUD hater Harry Teardrop. Pour yourself a drink (or two) and try not to blow your brains out listening to two of the most Californian-sounding people on the East Coast. Even Julia Fox couldn't compete with this vocal fry. Thanks for tuning in, salut!
My new podcast where I talk about music and help you get drunk. This first ever episode is mainly about all the new album releases I listened to in February, so have a listen and pour yourself a drink. Slainte!
