Welcome to The Bad Wives Club! We’re Libby & Liz — two best friends bringing our phone conversations straight to your speakers. We talk about the good, the bad, and the real life of marriage and motherhood. We’ve been through it all together for over 15 years—growing up, growing families, and figuring out life one stage at a time. We’re not professionals, just two moms keeping it real and leaving the expert advice to, well… the experts. Tune in weekly to hear all about how we juggle our daily lives as working moms, all while confidently NOT doing it all (*insert husband here*)!

It’s a solo episode with Liz this week, and it's like listening to a long voice memo from your best friend. Whether you’re in a growth season, a survival season, or somewhere in between, this one’s for you! You sent in your questions and she’s answering them all in a candidly, honest and unfiltered way. From what she’s manifesting and looking forward to in 2026, to the transitions from one to two and three kids, Liz opens up about motherhood, marriage, career, and everything in between. She shares: The skincare products she's loving How she manages anxiety Honest advice for first-time moms A really cool story about how she fell in love with reading Navigating challenging seasons in marriage What a day in the life looks like working for Booty by Brabants And what’s currently sitting on her bucket list Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. This week we’re joined by our good friend Kaitlyn Norwood, life coach, therapist, and walking reminder that sometimes you have to burn it down to build what you actually want. Kaitlyn shares her inspirational story as to what led her to leave her job as a school therapist and take the leap to start her own practice, and the rock-bottom moments that forced her to get honest about what wasn’t working. We talk about what it really means to choose a path that aligns with your values (instead of just surviving the one you’re in). Liz and Kaitlyn get into how to actually communicate with your spouse without it turning into a defensive spiral, why “we need to talk” isn’t always the move, carving out intentional time for your marriage in the chaos of kids + work, and recognizing when you’re disconnected from yourself. Kaitlyn also walks Liz through a real-time emotional processing exercise, helping her identify what she’s actually feeling (not just the surface-level reaction). If you’ve ever felt stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of what you actually want, this episode is your sign to pause and reflect! Today we're joined by Ana, the award-winning baby gear store that actually helps parents figure out what they need and what they don’t when preparing for the arrival of their baby or setting up a baby registry! We had an amazing time visiting Ana's new showroom in Hingham, MA, where Libby was able to test out and have a "hands on" experience with SO many different types of strollers to really get a good feel of what she wanted, where we live in a world of online guessing! Ana helped Libby break down the best stroller + car seat options for life as a mom of three, and we got into how different gear works for first-time moms, city vs. suburb living, twins, and growing families. We also spilled on overrated baby gadgets, true must-haves, and what’s actually worth putting on your registry. Plus, we’re doing a giveaway!Stay tuned on our Instagram for details. What if the chaos and emotional weight of last year were actually preparing you for alignment? In this powerful and deeply moving episode, Liz sits down with celebrity spirit medium Tiffany Rice to talk about energetic shifts, the weight of motherhood, manifestation, and what’s coming next.Tiffany explains how 2025 was the Year of the Snake, which was all about shedding: releasing old versions of ourselves, relationships that no longer fit, habits that drained us, and identities we’ve outgrown. And as we enter 2026, on February 17, the Year of the Horse begins where we move into alignment, momentum, clarity, and courage.Liz and Tiffany talk all about maternal instinct vs. anxiety — how to tell the difference; Letting go of friendships, jobs, or dynamics that no longer serve you; Why you don’t have to habit-stack your life to be productive; Allowing yourself to sit in stillness without guilt; How manifestation actually works (and how to start); and ways to connect with loved ones who have passed. The episode ends with a live reading. Liz’s mother-in-law comes through in a moment that is beautiful, validating, and deeply emotional.Whether you’re curious about spiritual connection, feeling stuck in a shedding season, or just craving reassurance that you’re on the right path, this episode will leave you thinking differently!   Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. We’re joined by holistic nutritionist Courtney Little, founder of Courtney Little Wellness, to talk about women’s health, stress, and the nervous system—and how they impact our daily lives more than we realize. Courtney shares simple, realistic micro-shifts you can make to support your body, regulate stress, and feel better without overhauling your entire life! We also touch on the peptides trend, keeping your marriage and relationships alive, and the best marriage advice she's ever received! We are so grateful for this conversation with Courtney, and we truly believe this is going to be a favorite episode of our listeners! Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. We’re wrapping up the year the only way we know how, with a completely raw conversation between two best friends, recorded on video too, just to give you a little more as we close out season 2. We talk about the wins, the losses, and the truth that not every year needs to be filled with big wins for it to still be meaningful. Sometimes the lessons matter just as much. We get emotional, we reflect, and it perfectly sums up the way recording this podcast has been so therapeutic for us—and why we hope it feels that way for you too. Thank you for being here, for listening, and for growing with us this year. Wishing you the happiest holiday season Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. 89. Holiday Hot Takes

2025-12-1126:24

We're back with more molly holly spirit! This week we’re running through some holiday hot takes and we’re asking the each other questions like: • Is Christmas decor allowed before Thanksgiving… or is that basically illegal or covering up your depression lol• Are you falling for the whole Ralph Lauren holiday trend or over the “aesthetic era”?• Holiday photoshoots: adorable tradition or cringe when there aren’t kids involved?• Teacher gifts — mandatory kindness or unnecessary pressure? And are we doing class gifts and personal gifts now??• White elephant: elite comedy or just dumb?• Should couples exchange big gifts or chill with the expectations?• Is sharing your kids’ Christmas list with family helpful… or tacky?• What’s actually on our kids’ wish lists this year.• Do the “big gifts” come from Santa or parents?• Does Santa wrap gifts? We hope you loved this episode! Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.
This week, Libby is in her third trimester and very much in her “everything my husband does is a personal attack” era. We dive into all the classic dad-in-the-hospital behaviors, stealing the hospital snacks, casually eating a full meal while you're in labor, and of course… the snoring. Always the snoring. Then we shift into why girls’ nights are basically essential self-care. Even when you don’t feel like going, they somehow turn into the best nights, and ours absolutely did. We give a full recap of our latest GNO. We also talk about the movies we’ve seen lately (Zootopia, Wicked, and King of Kings — quite the mix) and finish things off with how Adri and Liz sadly did not secure the bag at Target on Black Friday. It’s unhinged, relatable, mom life comedy at its finest. Grab a snack (but don’t be like Libby’s husband and eat it in front of a woman in labor), and dive in. If you loved this episode, please leave us a 5 star review and hit the follow button! Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. We’re dropping this week’s episode a day early to get you in the holiday spirit! In true BWC fashion, we’re chatting about everything from how we’re planning (or not planning) to split the holidays with our husbands’ families, to why gingerbread houses are so much f*cking harder than they look but we do it for the kids lol.We get into the annual Elf on the Shelf debate… Libby swears she’s anti-elf and anti-Instagram competition, but let’s be honest, we know she’ll cave and be posting that little guy by December 3rd.We also talk about Booty by Brabants’ huge Black Friday sale happening now — 40% off sitewide — and what it truly means to support small businesses this time of year. It’s cozy, chaotic, funny, and just a classic Thanksgiving-Eve hang with the two of us.Hope you love it!  Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. 86. Let's Catch Up!

2025-11-2035:45

This week on the BWC, we are back after missing last week's recording and honestly, same, we missed you too. We catch everyone up on life lately: feeling overwhelmed, dropping balls, and realizing (yet again) that this season of life is a lot… but also totally normal. We share how we each get back on track when everything feels chaotic and why giving yourself grace matters more than pretending you have it all together.Liz talks about the audiobook she’s obsessed with right now, The Gap and the Gain, and how it’s helping her shift her perspective — less comparing yourself to an ideal future version, and more celebrating how far you’ve already come. Highly recommend it if you need a mindset reset.Libby recaps Rocco’s birthday party, a cozy celebration complete with popcorn machines, tables, and all the essentials from their faves at Busy Bees Jumpers.Liz also spills on her recent laser facial (the BBL + Moxi “Kim K” combo) at Meredith Lane Aesthetics on Newbury Street and answers a listener question about early ADHD signs she noticed in her son. It’s a casual, honest catch-up episode — real mom life, real friendship, and real reminders that you’re doing better than you think. Tune in  Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.
This week on Bad Wives Club, Libby talks about watching movie "The Substance" alone (because Joe fell asleep, obviously)and how GORY it is! We talk about how we're prepping for Halloween chaos with the kids and how we can keep them safe while trick or treating. We recap last week’s episode about Libby’s TTC journey — how it felt to finally share her story, and what kind of support friends can give others while experiencing similar journeys. Liz opens up about finding a lump in her breast and the anxiety that comes with it. She shares her experience with the Dana-Farber mammogram van and the frustration of being turned away because she’s under 40. We call up Barbara Bigelow, a metastatic breast cancer survivor and total powerhouse, who reminds us why women need to advocate for themselves, push for answers, and take charge of their health at any age.You can support Metastatic Breast Cancer Research by donating here. Every dollar counts, and we thank you guys so much! Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.
This week, Libby shares the story behind the happiest surprise — she’s pregnant with baby number three! But it wasn’t an easy journey. Over the past year and a half, she’s been through the highs and lows of trying to conceive, the endless ovulation strips, fertility apps, and emotional rollercoasters that come with it , and two miscarriages along the way. Since she is now pregnant & in a good place this, this episode is light yet heart felt.   Libby opens up about how social media posts hit differently during that time, what she learned after meeting with Wellesley Women’s Care, and how lab work revealing low AMH levels (aka very few eggs left) led her to prepare for IVF. Then, in an unexpected twist, she got pregnant naturally, right after a simple procedure to clear her tubes.   This is an honest, raw conversation about hope, loss, and what it means to keep believing when things don’t go according to plan.   If anyone out there is struggling with trying to conceive or pregnancy loss, know that you aren't alone. There is no guidebook to navigating this time, but we can all be there to support and uplift each other. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Our answer is YES - we had the most amazing trip to Disney ever! We are recapping our entire trip day by day - including where we stayed (off property at the Omni Championsgate vs. on property at the Disney Riviera), how we navigated park days and rides (DAS, multi-pass lightening lane & premiere lightening lane), our favorite rides and "must dos", and Liz's first time experience at Universal Studios! We are giving you all the silly details and funny stories that made our trip one to remember forever !! Since we were away last week, we decided to repurpose one of our most listened to and inspiring episodes from last year, with one of our best friends Allie Hershman. We recorded a short but sweet conversation of where she is at now (she's not only a wife, but a mama!!), and her most recent endeavor starting Ollie & Friends Podcast ! We are SO proud of her for launching this amazing kid friendly and interactive podcast that our little ones are absolutely loving. We love you Allie! Today we have Jeff on the pod! Liz & Jeff sit down to talk all about what their new routine looks like in the Fragala household. From Jeff starting a new job and how that schedule impacts their home routine, to the families "reset bootcamp" where they are getting rid of all screens (yes, that includes TV!), sugar, etc., and everything in between. We love having Jeff on the pod to hear the other sides opinion, values, routine, etc., and we can all take a page out of Jeff's book! Welcome back to the Bad Wives Club! Starting this episode off with a REAL recap what these past few weeks have looked like marriage wise...now that we made it through to the other side alive and still married lol. We're giving our thoughts on labubus now that the older kids officially have them, healthy breakfast ideas, and bad habits that we are calling it quits with for the kids as a "trial and error" to turn behavior around, and we talk about how we can control outside variables. What are your thoughts on buying siblings gifts on birthdays? We'll tell you ours! We also give you a nice rant on the end to basically... be a nice person, lead with love, and spread more positivity in a world where there can be so much hate. Love you guys! Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.
Happy September or Happy New Year?! Feels like the new year for us... fresh start and new routines. We're doing a fun little rapid fire of questions today about all things fall! Closet cleanout vs. buying new staples, looking cute vs. homeless at drop off, PTA Moms or avoid at all cost, fall trip with or without the kids, best fall dates, scents, flavors, etc. ! Tell us what your answers are to these questions in the comments section - we want to hear from you! Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Happy Thursday, Bad Wives! We're recapping our first week back into the new routine - how the littles did their first week in preschool, youth sports (and struggles that come along with that) and the routine we've been craving. Libby watched "Unknown Number" so we discuss this INSANE story, which leads us to such a scary part of parenting in our day in age - technology and cyber bullying. Engage with us in the comments with your thoughts on todays episode, we love hearing from you guys! Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Welcome back to the BWC and Happy September! We hope you all enjoyed your last week of summer, and are ready to hit the ground running with this new school year!  We're recapping our final weeks of summer - cape days and slow days, and how we are transitioning back to school. Liz had the BEST stay in Harwich - you can book her exact house that she rented through this link with New England Vacation Rentals. (PSA - booking direct through a vaca rental manager vs. air bnb is cheaper because you avoid crazy fees!) Delilah and Rocco are in pre-K, so we will keep you updated on those nervous jitters!  We get into the whole new labubu craze and how we struggle with wanting to give our kids everything vs. saying "no" to the silly fads (shoutout to Raw Kickz who Liz mentions!) We discuss the scary part of sending our kids to school (prayers to all those affected in the Minneapolis shooting), and how we want to protect our kids without completely sheltering them.  There's a town in MA that got rid of all homework for elementary school - do we love that!? And what are your thoughts on kids calling us by last name? Let us know in the comments section!  Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.
We are back with a part-two of last weeks conversation! On todays episode, we are focusing all on how the avoid drama in your 30's, the difference between avoiding drama versus people, how to say "no" when your social battery is completely drained, and how to distance yourself from others without the dramatic breakup or villainizing friends. We got so many messages from our listeners, so we incorporated some anonymous messages we received into the episode to discuss our thoughts and opinions. Leave us a comment on this episode if you loved it! Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.
